Yes they do.

Have you ever seen Christian in Islamic School? No.

Why? They disdain Moslems.
Obasanjo went to an Islamic school.

Islam tells it's followers that the worst sin is to be a polytheist, even Christians who are somewhat tolerated are still considered kuffar.

It's Christian School to be frank.

But at least it shows that anyone has the right to appear the way he desires.
Of course it's a Christian school, a Muslim school would never do such.

My mentally challenged schoolmate was allowed to wear chams in form of bad odour perfume, rings etc by the school authority because his parents are traditional-christians who believed that he was spiritually challenged.
Perfume and rings? grin

Did he tie fowl leg to his waist as well?

Also was this a Muslim owned school? In the interest of fairness it should go for everyone.

Charm?

I don't understand.
Government owned schools dressed the way their religion prescribed.

We've seen Christian pupils wearing beret in muslim named schools and nothing happened.

The intolerance won't be tolerated in Government schools. NEVER
Where does it say in any Christian religious book that they should wear beret?

Is beret mandated by religion or a part of the school uniform?

Let's start wearing charms now so that there is fairness everywhere.

They'll continue to wear hijab in schools Irrespective of the name as long as it's own and catered for by the Government.

Muslims always want special treatment wherever they go.

If I carry charms now and say it's my religion police will brutalise me.

They should focus on building up their communities instead of fighting over a cloth from twisted doctrine.

Ok let the campaign start.

OGA PETER OBI

Ngige was sworn in May 29, 2003. That year Anambra State generated N800m in revenue. 2004, the revenue quadrupled to N3.6bn, 2005, the previous year's revenue doubled to N7.4bn.
March 2006, he got booted out of office for operating with a stolen mandate and Peter Obi was sworn in Same 2006, revenue dips by over 40% to N4bn, He left office in March 2014 leaving the IGR at N8bn (2013). 2014, IGR jumped to N10bn. The numbers for 2021are not yet out but 2020 puts the State's IGR at N28bn.
I think there is so much to unpack here. In ~3yrs, Ngige was able x9 the State's IGR, Obiano was able to do x3.5 while Peter Obi could barely move the needle. It took Peter Obi 8 YEARS to surpass what he met on ground and the difference was just a billion.

Is this the person you people are saying will perform wonders after buhari?

I need to paint a picture of Ngige's three years so we understand. Ngige got sworn in May, by June, he had fallen out with his godfathers for reneging on their agreement. July, he was abducted and forced to resign, He managed to scale through that hurdle and was back in office. Those year, there was a court judgement that sacked him from office. The Police withdrew his security on the advice of the AGF. For 8 months, a governor was being guarded by vigilantes and private security

Same 2004, in November, hoodlums allegedly financed by the Uba brothers (Ngige's erstwhile godfathers) took over Anambra for three days, they burnt down govt buildings, the govt's radio stations, I think govt house was also torched, Ngige's office and I think his deputy's

This is the environment Ngige operated and was able to x9 the State's revenue. Peter didn't also have it easy, he got impeached same year he was sworn in but he was there for 8 YEARS.

Got the keys to two major commercial centres (Nnewi & Onitsha) and this is his result
Looking at the numbers again, Peter Obi met a State totally dependent on FAAC, the ration of FAAC to IGR is about 83:17 and left it in that same state. They could barely pay salaries alone from the State's revenue. This is the person that wants to transform Nigeria

"Peter Obi is a businessman so he is going to create a business-friendly environment". Let's verify.

In 2008, the first Ease of doing business report was piloted in Nigeria with 10 states. Anambra tied with Kano at No. 8.

8 out of 10. Two years later, in 2010, another ranking was done, this time capturing all the States, Anambra came 35

Under a trader, Anambra was the 35th hardest place to do business in Nigeria

Someone will just come and be bamboozling. He says Nigeria's budget per citizen on healthcare is N5/day, ask him how he much budgeted when he was governor. 2006 census puts Anambra's population at 4.1m. I doubt that man ever budgeted up to N1.5bn. Let's dash him N2bn, that's N1.3

"He pay salary, he pay salary". Doctors went on strike for 13 months!

He tried his best but he still left a kidnappers HQ. Traditional rulers, expats, people in academics, the rich, everybody felt the brunt.

The daughter of a lawmaker was killed when they were trying to kidnap her mom, that was the second attempt

He will go on ARISE and say it's because Nigeria is not providing jobs, that's why crime rate is on the rise. Agreed but which ones did he provide as governor or how did his state become a kidnapper's haven? Evans was operating there before he migrated to Lagos.

Someone that did not think pensions was important till an elderly woman seized his bible. He has shamelessly told this story repeatedly because he knows Nigeria place a premium on entertainment, humility & religiosity.
"Aw, he still goes to Mass", "No bodyguard?" "hehehe" mschew

His first term was nothing to write home about. Even APGA Chairman acknowledged it. They had to use Ojukwu's health to emotionally blackmail to get him a second term.
Nonsense copied thread from twitter. grin

Ad hominem as usual.

If you're owing 8 billion and your igr is 8billion, your revenue isn't 8billion it's 0, Peter Obi cleared all the debts and left surplus saved for Anambra.

This Almajiri mathematics/economics you're trying to portray shows your level of understanding

una go sha dey find ways to bastardize whatever innovations the government is trying to bring, yet y'all crying for better nations
NOT EVERY COUNTRY HAS A NATIONAL IDENTITY DATABASE CONTAINING THE THE PERSONAL INFORMATION OF EACH CITIZEN.

You are just being deliberately ignorant. I have already explained that not every country has default access to the personal information of all citizens and some information needs a court order to be accessed.

The demand to link the NIN to your sim has done absolutely nothing to fix the various security issues it claims to solve and other nations with actual leaders can provide security without these extreme measures.

Kindly gedifok out of my mentions.

I will ignore your insult with a warning.

A person a crime. They have just his name with no idea where to find him.

They run the name through NIN database and they find that he has filled an address , he attends a school in Ibadan and another house in Enugu which theu could go check if he is there. That is what they need database for.

Or 2 crimes are committed, there is a weapon, theu take prints off the weapon and access to diabetes can allow them link both together with one person because they have his/her details. All these can be done without a court order which is what the article is about.

read, read, read. Learn to understand before jumping into arguements
Mister man stop mentioning me.

What you just explained is a criminal investigation and you need a search warrant before collecting evidence on private property.

Search warrants weren't made for show, they are done to monitor police activity and prevent abuse the same way a moderator log tracks activity on a website.

I have been more than patient and explained how different countries operate and why this statement in particular is wrong

What you posted is about tracing suspects. Did you see me mention that? Again, do you hae problems with comprehension.

I said biodata, names, address and such things not wire tapping or tracing or gps.
What is the point of security agencies linking your sim with your NIN if not for tracing people, are you intentionally being dumb or what?

IMSI catchers aren't only used for intercepting calls, they can find your phone number and personal information used when registering the sim.

The use of IMSI catchers by police is not illegal but requires a court order.

Since the US does not have a unified national identity database all personal information collected by law enforcement that is not publicly available must be accessed through a court order because US citizens are protected from unreasonable searches by the fourth and fifth ammendment.

This basic concept is what you can not understand because your narrow mind thinks the whole world operates like Nigeria.

Obvioisly you didn't read the article you posted.

They used the devices to track people in real time.

What the issue is is this.

A commits a crime. They have his name and surname but they don't have an address so theu check the records and find his address and others registered so they can arrest him there. Not tracking or listening.

The police van run your name through records to see properties you have bought to see where you can be or a connection to a crime.
The issue isn't that they were tracking the phone, the issue is that they were tracking phones without court order to do so, something you said isn't required.
