i'll be very happy if he stays on as INEC chairman meanwhile, which one is ''TheNiche Newspaper' again? |
![]() i like this new posture of civility |
PvtParts: ![]() funny man. Show me the pics of the defenseless civilians killed in the bombings so i can cry along with you. |
PvtParts:You would have made a strong point if you can tell us the time limit he gave for resuing the girls, stopping BH and bringing peace to the MB. Can you tell us the time limit and prove he has exceeded them? I hope you are really enjoying the latest massacre by Buhari. I hope it gave you much satisfaction and glee. I hope Buhari will commence a full scale war on ND and SE to appease your hate filled and jealous hearts. ![]() Once again, your attempts at propaganda is lame and childish. Show me pictures if you have any. post a link to a news report if it's true ![]() Buhari doesn't need to wage any war on the ND. WIke/Amaechi/Obuah faceoff has proved Niger deltans can do that themselves. Go and check what has become of Omoku. I just learnt the theater of war has shifted to Okwuzi and Agah in the same ONELGA as i type here. You're the one threatening us all with war so i wonder why any prospective massacre should worry you. what do you think war is? a tea party? |
PvtParts:Walahi, i had nothing to do with the $20B. Ask Sanusi and Diezani We also know how you used the abducted Christian School girls from Chibok against Jonathan only for you to now justify the massacre of innocent people in Cross River labelling every one in that community as pirates or is it oil thieves or kidnappers down to the very young baby to the oldest aged woman. Can you show just one picture of anybody killed in the air campaign by the airforce last week? can you prove a single villager lost his/her life in the raids? Your attempt at propaganda is very lame and childish my friend. Your quest for this oil will be your downfall.I don't need the oil more than you my friend. If the govt fails, no problems as long as it's the wish of the majority of Nigerians. I have to laugh at the bold. Who are these people of God pls? |
omenka:Let them continue. Na dem sabi. They said GMB won't win the election, he won. They said GMB won't be sworn in, he was and has since become PMB. They said PMB won't do jack about them but even in his 'sleeping' mode, Badeh has turned his attentions to them and they are crying blue murder They said asari will crumble Nigeria if PMB coughs yet the clown is relying on the rule of law to ask for surveillance money. If the country will break, disintegrate or whatever, i will forever be grateful that we voted impunity and other vices out of aso rock. |
PvtParts:Now you've come back to earth my friend. Nobody has stopped the war on terror in the North. Infact, PMB is committed to it. as per the bold, are you already weaned of your own oil thirst? |
SUBMARINE:Why should i ask a prodigal governor? Can't you answer? is it too tough a question? ![]() |
PvtParts: ![]() You have your own franchise already?? ![]() |
PvtParts:Meaning we all should sit back and let the oil thieves like Alhaji Sule, Mr Demola, Tekena, Chikodi, Capt Musa and ASP Oghenetega continue their activities right? What happens if my easy going pals like Diepreye, Tonye decide to co-opt me in and i get my good friend, major Tanko in on the deal and we start our own 'resource control' on the same oil? What about when you decide your own day job isn't getting you the luxury you deserve and you decide to form your own cartel as well? When will the country not become failed if all and sundry are left unchecked to start their own oil franchise? Buhari isn't killing you. Badeh isn't attacking you except you also have drums of crude oil in your backyard. Let the war on oil thieves continue pls. Let Asari and Tompolo go back to the creeks if they so wish. Let them start blowing the pipelines and killing sodiers like Boko haram are doing. Then then let the air force too start dropping bombs on them too and the pipelines like they're doing in the North east. I should pity the ND environment but since you that's from there ain't bothered, whats my own? even today, they spill oil on their farmlands and rivers without thinking in their quest to get crude so why should other Nigerians care? Let the war on crime in every shade and under every guise continue pls |
SUBMARINE:and what is at stake my friend? ![]() meanwhile, where did you run to since? |
PvtParts:Seriously, do you have any proof that the war on terror has been jettisoned? What did you say when the command centre was moved to Maiduguri? Or is this emotionalism as usual? Well, just you wait and see how the west will soon begin to castigate and condemn this Govt on attacking innocent villagers.I have no problem with Nigeria breaking.....GEJ second term would have ensured that. If PMB is eventually primed in that direction, what's there to lose? You don't fight destiny if that's what it is my friend. But for now, let the campaign against oil thieves gather steam pls |
PvtParts: ![]() What is the regret my dear? That the oil will stop flowing? That the country will break? That the economy will collapse? "If the heavens will fall, it won't be the problem of one man" My friend, let them keep dealing with the oil thieves...if it leads to these 'calamities' you're so scared of, let them come. Lalasticlala, ishilove....front page abeg ![]() |
PvtParts: ![]() No problems....as long as the Defense forces face the Oil thieves. It's even more gratifying to note that it's the army leaders appointed by GEJ that are caryying out these actions. Wonder what happened to them ![]() |
Hmmm..... |
PvtParts:oh oh oh oh......they have come again ![]() As you're typing this, An Alhaji Sule, Alhaji Isiaka or Mr Demola is negotiating with a Tekena or Chikodi to buy their stolen oil cargo which will be given protection by a company of soldiers led by a capt Musa and police led by ASP Oghenetega. Every corrupt practice in this country is made successful by crooks from every nook and cranny of this big country. Let whatever wants to happen because the military moved against oil thieves happen, the world won't end and we might be the better for it. I guess some destruction and disasters are inevitable after all. Let's end it all and start afresh |
omenka:my bro, if you noticed, i just came back after some break from the insanity here and i'll not bother myself anymore with some threads and some posters. it's obvious we reside on different planets from them so we won't understand each other's language. i read the earlier reports that indicate women going about their business were robbed and raped. people were abducted and killed routinely yet some think it sensible to come here and cast aspersions on the actions to stop these criminal element from proliferating?!! I mean these criminals prey on their own people!!! How does a sane person defend these guys? how does one reason with such thinking? 2 of my colleagues who are Niger Deltans from host communities were killed in the last 2 weeks by these same guys. One was killed during an attempt to kidnap him and the other was killed 2 days after ransom was paid to free him from the kidnappers. we all suspect it's because they believe he knows them and might squeal on them. Then some youths believe they should defend them just so they can have a reason to denigrate PMB. I even saw a thread where another said over 350 people were killed in the raids and some believed that too?? My bro, na their cup of garri |
Actually the warning is meant for oil thieves(which includes military men from every tribe in Nigeria, Oil company workers from every tribe in Nigeria, Politicians, criminal businessmen etc) It has nothing to do with genuine ND agitators |
Following rising cases of oil theft in the Niger Delta region, the Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshall Alex Badeh, has warned oil thieves to desist from the act or be ready to face deadly gun battle. Badeh gave the warning on Friday while inaugurating the permanent complex of the Joint Task Military Force’s Operation Pulo Shield headquarters in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. Badeh lamented that oil theft, kidnapping and other criminal activities were still on the increase in the region despite the previous agreement reached with former militants to down tools. He said, “Criminalities in the Niger Delta, we thought, have stopped but now they are on the rise again. But I know that our gallant men and women are equal to the task. “We are after the bad men; we are good men and darkness can never overtake light. No nation can develop in the presence of so much criminality. “Now we are hearing that people are taking up arms here and there; kidnapping is on the rise, oil theft is on the rise, going by the last seizure of a ship loaded with 15,000 metric tons of illegal properties. “The military was here before and we reached a simple agreement to down tools to work together for the benefit of our nation. We want to tell the criminals that they should not allow us to turn our guns back to the Niger Delta. Please, do not let the Armed Force turn its arsenal on the Niger Delta.” Badeh said the military had received major arms for the Navy, stressing that naval operatives were stationed in the blue waters. The CDS, who appealed to youths in the region to operate within the ambits of the law, said the JTF had received added capabilities to combat all manner of criminalities in the region. In his remarks, the JTF Commander, Maj.-Gen. Emmanuel Atewe, stated that the JTF was a product of the defunct Operation Restore Hope, which was earlier established to check criminal activities in the region with headquarters in Warri, Delta State. He said since his assumption as Commander of the Operation Pulo Shield some months ago, the JTF had recorded a lot of achievements in the fight against oil theft. Atewe highlighted the destruction of over 1,000 illegal oil refineries, arrest and trial of several suspects, destruction of over 400 smuggling boats, and 20 trucks containing illegally refined products, among others. He said, “The idea to build a permanent complex was informed by the huge amount of money expended on rent by the Command over the years. “May I thank the Chief of Defence Staff for donating 30 gun boats to the JTF and the Bayelsa State government for its cooperation with the JTF. “The new JTF Complex occupies over 8 acres of land comprising of officers’ accommodation, residential apartments for officers and men, sports and fitness centre, medical facilities and officers mess.” http://www.punchng.com/news/be-ready-for-war-cds-warns-oil-thieves/ |
I read the news and i can't find any threat there-in. Or is the below part of the threats? ''Asari-Dokubo urged President Buhari to pay the contractors their money if he was truly committed to the rule of law.'' ''The former militant added that he and other contractors would follow due process to get their money from the Federal Government. He appealed to the President not to set a bad precedent where government will fail to pay contractors who had executed their contracts.'' All i see is a gentleman asking for what he believes is owed him......Nothing like a militant making any threats, real or imagined. Following due process means seeking all legal means to get the money e.g going to court. He mentioned ''rule of law'' some plenty times in the report. The guy is towing the path of sense and peace and that should be the spirit. |
richidinho:Actually it was part of PMB's campaign promises....Nothing about issuing directives from chad. Obviously the Head of Civil Service of the federation followed the campaign trail and knows what will obtain henceforth. |
I always knew that the curious way Ogunsakin was asked to leave Rivers state on the eve of April 11 elections, after resuming 24 hrs earlier, will not go down well with him. It was humiliating to say the least and he might wish to get even some day. He sure knows those behind the fiasco. Also the destruction, violence and killings that followed will make him more determined to torchlight the matter. Whatever they do, Rivers state must be allowed to enjoy peace. Nothing less |
The Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 6, Calabar, Mr. Tunde Ogunsakin, has charged the Rivers State Police Commissioner, Mr. Dan Bature, and three others in the zone to curb the spate of crime in their various states.http://www.punchng.com/news/aig-warns-rivers-cp-others-on-crime-rate/ |
Realist2:The way you listed all those posts, one would be forgiven for believing you're a member of president Buhari's inner caucus. Where you present when Amaechi was negotiating all these offices or you're relying on the beer parlour gists that also affirmed that Buhari had prostrate cancer and was receiving treatment at Ahmadu Bello teaching hospital? Why not wait for the list to come out before rejoicing at Amaechi's 'misfortune'? |
QuotaSystem:Yeah |
modath: QuotaSystem:I doubt Amaechi is even remotely interested in SGF or if he'll be considered for that post. As a PH boy, he'll prefer chief of staff where he can pull strings without too much scrutiny or public attention given his recent past. Anyway, all these are in the realm of speculation. Let's keep watching as events unfold |
![]() This is commendable. PDP to PDP yet Okowa refused to swallow the trash called recruitment. Everyone is refusing to be teleguided and working hard to be their own man. Very nice indeed. "I belong to everybody and I belong to nobody" -- President Buhari (2015) I guess the mantraa is catching on ![]() |
I'm not disappointed at all. A committed party man who refused the lure of the ruling parties to remain with ANPP through all the years in the wilderness. He must be one of the closest politicians to president Buhari who believes in loyalty and discipline. God bless PMB, God bless Dr Onu God bless Nigeria |
