geoworldedu: Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR (born 17 December 1942) is the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces
.[4] He is a retired Nigerian Army Major General and was Head of State of Nigeria from 31 December 1983 to 27 August 1985, after taking power in a military coup d'état.[5][6] The term Buharism is ascribed to the Buhari military government.[7][8]
He ran unsuccessfully for the office of President in the 2003, 2007 and 2011 elections. In December 2014, he emerged as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the March 2015 elections. Buhari won the 2015 general election, defeating the incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan. When he took office on 29 May 2015 -during which the abbreviation of his name was symbolically changed from 'GMB' (General Muhammadu Buhari) to 'PMB' (President Muhammadu Buhari)- marked the first time in Nigeria's history that an incumbent elected President peacefully transferred power to an elected leader of the opposition.
Buhari has stated that he takes responsibility for whatever happened under his watch during his military rule, saying that he cannot change the past. He also describes himself as a "converted democrat".[9]

Jonathan's term as President of Nigeria ended on 29 May 2015, he handed over to President Elect Muhammadu Buhari.

samueld0: In Brazil, the Flying Eagles face their stiffest opposition in the group stages. The Brazilian side is lacking in confidence having qualified for the mundial by finishing 4th at the Sudamericano Sub-20 tournament in Uruguay. After some stern and rather uncomplimentary words from Jose Maria Marin, the president of the Brazilian Football confederation (CFB), Coach Alexandre Gallos and his charges will be heading to Kiwi Land to try to prove a point.
Adopting a rather cautious approach this time round, Galos dropped all players he labeled as inexperienced and not lacking clear carrier paths, opting for a more experienced personnel. The Nigerian technical team would want to keep an eye in the heart of midfield where Manchester United’s Andreas Pereira and Atletico Paranaense’s Marcos Guilherme will be pitching their camps and firing ammunition at the Nigerian defense, while Real Madrid’s Jean Carlos and Fluminense little magician Kenedy will be sniffing around for mistakes from the backline and hoping to duly exact justice.
Date 01 june 2015
Time-2:00am
Venue- Taranki Stadium in Plymouth, New Zealand.
Star players to watch- Ihenacho, Awoniyi Sokari Jean Carlos and Kenedy Will the match be broadcasted live on local television? |

SporaD8: I said it before and I will repeat - "The time comes, even now that other region will see Iboh's political support as a bad omen for defeat." You are too dumb to realise that igbos gave a good account of themselves in these elections, they delivered as their said. No igbo state fall to the opposition party. Take a look at the just concluded presidential election, did the opposition get 15% vote in any igbo state? no. The faillure of AGBAJE is simply his fault, while he was sure of igbo block vote, he totally ignore that he also needs some vote from his people to supplement the igbo vote, which, alone is not enough to give him victory at the pole., having said this, I personally don't have any pity or whatsoever for Mr JK, from the moment I heard he lost his own polling unit & his deputy lost & bode judge also lost, I know he is just joking & I subsequently lost any sympathy I have for him. As a politician, u don't lose ur domain & expect to win election. Charity begins at home. As for we igbos, we gave a good account of ourselves, by delivering all our domains to pdp in both elections to JK & GEJ. The good side of it for us & every body who want the progress of his constituency, is that, PDP reps is going to represent us in both lagos & national assembly, let's see how good they can be. |

Bloody COWARD July2050: Well said. Please Yorubas, let us take this up. We are now in a difficult situation. Some flatheaded foreigners are now playing power politics in our land. They want to start rulling us in our own home. No way!
We need to start seeking active regulations to protect ourselves. We need to start think of our brothers first before foreigners.
They are greedy monkeys that must be discouraged from coming to our region.
This is a wake up call to all yorubas. They have said we are mumus. They say we are docile people and we can't do anything to them
It is time to show these Igbo that we rule. We will not go to their land to claim right. They should also not come here to rule us.
