PoliticsRe: APC: The Success So Far by thewarrior72: 3:30pm On Nov 27, 2013
egift: While many folks living and benefiting from the umbrella socked in corruption will want us to believe it is nothing, I want every Nigerian to join us in appreciating the result the All Progressive Congress have achieved so far in the quest to salvage the dwindling fortunes of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria - the giant of Africa.

The primary aim is to liberate Nigerians from the clutches of the PDP that for 14 years have failed to add any true meaning to the to the development of this great country. This is a movement to empower Nigerians, develop our infrastructures and build a better society.

Here are what the APC have achieved and what lies ahead:

1. Uniting major political parties to create a true National Party - DONE.
2. Retaining the name APC after all the useless attempts by the pdp - DONE.
3. Getting INEC to register APC and provide it all legal accolades is need - DONE.
4. Provide a comprehensive vision and leadership for APC - DONE.
5. Visiting pdp States and getting a grand reception that even the president by the party leadership - DONE.
6. Extracting 7 seating Governors from the pdp without spending a kobo on election or lifting a finger - DONE.
7. Relegating the pdp to minority status in Nigeria with spending a dime - DONE.
8. Beating the London Ogogoro out of the Presidency and his talkativeness - DONE.
9. Placing all the top members of the pdp on the Fence of Indecision - DONE.
10. Giving Nigerians hope once again - DONE

NEXT___

11. Harmonizing the leadership structures at all levels.
12. Massive registration, mobilization and sensitization to all Nigerians on what the party will do.
13. Outlining comprehensively the problems facing the nation and stating specific solution to each of them.
14. When election comes, presenting credible team of candidates for all elective posts in Nigeria.
15. Participating fully in the electoral exercise and monitoring everything per square inch to checkmate the rigging drunkards.
16. Win the Presidency and wake Nigeria - the current sleeping Giant Of Africa.

Up APC! God bless Nigeria!! And long live the Federal Republic Of Nigeria!!!

Illuminatus: Might be true, or not. But since the blood of Jesus Christ doesn't come into play in politics, I still maintain that there are much difference between an Igbo man and Hausa man (in a political sense).
Yea u might be right in some sense, but remember, the persecution the minority Christian awusa is suffering today is orchestrated by they Muslim brothers,we are just showing them a sense of belonging& for now the last thing Awusa Christian needed is a Muslim to come into power. In right sense & Christian perspective we are more related to them than their Muslim brothers

PoliticsRe: Time For APC To Prove Their Progressiveness And Make Amaechi Thier Flag Bearer by thewarrior72: 1:58pm On Nov 27, 2013
Donmams: Now that the G7 have officially joined the APC train (worry not, even Lamido and Babangida Aliyu will soon join), the plot to remove Jonathan in the 2015 elections should be underway immediately. There are 20 northern states (if you include Abuja) and GEJ will be hoping to get 25% of the votes in the north just as he did in 2011. However, this time, the difference is that GEJ no longer has the support of the G-7 governors who tactically engineered the required 25% of northern votes he needed to successfully rig the 2011 elections.
In addition, to show the world just how politically naive he is, GEJ decided to marginalize the entire South West in the scheme of his gov't in favour of the SE despite the fact that GEJ got over 70% of SW votes in 2011. Right now the SW, has aligned with the north and is set to deliver a crushing blow to the GEJ in 2015.
The objective for 2015 is simple. Deny Jonathan the much sought after 25% in the South West and North and the elections will be over in the very first round. No run off will ever be needed.
In 2011, the northern governors were in full support of Atiku before GEJ made the memorable threat to 'sink' the PDP ship with everyone on it if the northern governors refused to support him. Now the threat is no longer viable. The governors have left the PDP and have challenged GEJ to sink the Ship! Unfortunately for GEJ this time around, he's the only one on it!
The mistake the north made in 2011 was not coming out en masse to vote for the CPC by averaging a voter turnout of just 50% in the entire region. In 2015, just like the PDP managed to mobilize over 90% of the eligible voters of the South South and South East to vote, the north will make sure we mobilize over 95% of our eligible voters to vote out GEJ and the bandit party PDP in the 2015 election.
A 2/3rd majority in the 36 states plus Abuja means for the APC to win by landslide in 2015, the APC needs at least 24 states. The APC is guaranteed 25% in all but 2 northern states(Plateau and Benue). That makes 18 states. What is left to make up 24 states is just 6 states. Luckily, the north has aligned itself with the South West. As an added bonus, the SW with 6 states will provide the 25% needed to make up the balance. In addition, the governors of Rivers, Edo and Rivers are also members of the APC who will bring further votes in 2015. GEJ can have 100% of the votes of the South South and South East(minus Imo). It will make no difference.
If GEJ and his advisers had half a brain they would have told him that he could not afford to let the G7 governors flee. But as things stand, GEJ, and in extension the SS and SE is toast politically.
Never will the NORTH/SW AXIS TRUST THE SS/SE AGAIN

PoliticsRe: Time For APC To Prove Their Progressiveness And Make Amaechi Thier Flag Bearer by thewarrior72: 11:31am On Nov 27, 2013
collynzo2: APC members always pride themselves as progressives even though most of their actions have fallen short of being progressive in nature. With the 2015 elections coming up, they can decide to be progressive, shun the archaic zoning formula and field their best candidate for the Presidential elections or they can go down the non-progressive path of fielding Buhari, who I feel has lost touch with the present world.
The two most qualified candidates for the Presidential seat in APC are Amaechi and Fashola, both have done well as governors of their respective states, both are what one can describe as modern politicians. However I feel someone like Fashola is too ethnocentric to rule a diverse nation like Nigeria. Amaechi on the other hand has the rich experience of governing a diverse and multi-ethnic state like Rivers without any ethnic bias whatsoever.
Amaechi has done well as governor of Rivers state, most of those against him will only cite his rift with Jonathan as their reason for opposing him.
Come 2015, if APC makes him their presidential candidate, they will get my vote (and that of most Nigerians I presume) however if they field a past it politician like Buhari, they should get used to seeing GEJ till 2019!
cheesy I thank God u created this thread.
This is where u know the real agenda of this marriage of strange bedfellows, contrary to what they make us believe, the agenda is nothing more than to wrestle power from SS Christian & return it to northern Muslims to continue they plundering of the scars resources of this country.
If the reality has not down on u& all other SS&SE supporting this charade, (A case sturdy )look how u were attacked by by those SW monikers for saying that APC should give their flag bearer to Amaechi,a SS., Instead of them to analyse or point they own better candidate in APC, they resorted in calling u names. This just coming from APC SW legion, the north have not attacked u yet.
It will amount to foolhardy for any SS or SE or any Christian to support such a party on the mission of islamising Nigeria.
