I do not believe the story in its entirety. Catholic Priests normally do no encourage the use of their church to promote political opinions. The statements attributed to the priest is unlikely anyway.

PoliticsRe: I Am Not Good At Making Money – Buhari by thewritingtodo(m): 12:53pm On Dec 19, 2017
Bolster:
Unbelievable!

So it is the duty of a good parent to leave an inheritance for their children even if it means stealing from the government right?

Unbelievable!

And y'all will be shouting you don't want corruption while your heart, brain and mind are all corrupted. How could you displayed a corrupted line of thought in respect of a public servant who have served the country diligently and honestly, a man who has refused to join the bandwagon of thieves robbing y'all your future.

Did you that Bill Clinton left the White House with millions in debt even though he was a lawyer, a governor and President of the biggest economy in the world? He only started making money after he left the White House and started charging for Speeches.

True and patriotic public servants don't become richer after serving the country. They only become more and highly connected. If you're so inclined to amassing wealth then you milk your connection, but if you're more concerned about peaceful, moral and spartan living like Buhari, then you don't milk the connections you made.

FYI, any public servant who went into elective offices and came out far richer than they went in is a big thief. QED.
Before you shout your lungs out, please I NEVER said they should steal in order to leave an inheritance for their children..so everything you've so elucidated doesn't pertain to me..but thanks for the education anyways. I meant to say that even GOOD, non-thieving, respectful and honourable parents do so for their kids, without having to soil their names. Next time, I will be more elaborate, so you don't get it all mixed up.

PoliticsRe: I Am Not Good At Making Money – Buhari by thewritingtodo(m): 11:12am On Dec 19, 2017
Bolster:
Nigeria as a country doesn't necessarily need a politician who knows how to make or acquire personal fortune. What we need is a patriotic Nigeria who isn't motivated by personal aggrandizement and wealth accumulation.

If someone who's held several public offices had to borrowed to build his houses then such person has lived an exemplary life.
Read your words again carefully, but this time, replace the person of buhari with your father or pater familias. Imagine what debt he would have driven you and your siblings into, all in the name of being a stand up Nigerian. It is the duty of a GOOD parent to leave an inheritance for their children, not debt, biko nu.

No disrespect sir... its usually called LAZY..

If the populace dont struggle hard to put money in the treasury, how then do we survive...

If we didnt have crude oil, how then would you lead us to eldorado...

Imagine your father saying, i dont know how to make money?

This is a statement that should never be said of a leader.

Can a secular musician like Majek perform in a mosque?
Have u ever seen artistes perform in a Buddhist or Hindu
temple? Or inside the Okija shrine?"

"when did these other religion become a yardstick for the church? by your logic since Mohammed married a kid of less than 9 years it is OK for us all to marry children. Song ministration by individuals is not a new practice in the church.

Christ message is love! but you vile and hateful self will never understand this.

PoliticsRe: Gidado Idris Dies & Buried. Atiku Abubakar Attends Burial (Photos) by thewritingtodo(m): 12:46am On Dec 17, 2017
Marotzke:
Gidado idris, one of the powerful men of yester years.
When the positition of secretary to the government of the federation SGF was still combined with the office of head of service, HOS. SGF/HOS.
His predessesor, Aminu Saleh described the position as "commander in chief of the civilian forces of the federation.
After the sacking of Aminu Saleh as secretary to the government of the federation by General Sani Abacha, Gidado Idris, then permanent Secretary , ministry of petroleum resources was appointed in his place.
A seasoned technocrat and administrator, he maintained a tight grip on the civil service and government functions during the heady days of Abacha.
A member of the old school civil servants of northern origin.
Power mongers but no money lovers .
They will head powerful posts where their influence is far reaching, but you can't trace vast wealths to them.
They can make other people billonaires ,but they will not personally benefit.
People like Shehu Shagari, Adamu Ciroma, Shettima Ali Monguno,Ibrahim Damcida, Zarma Gwogaram , Aliyu Mohammed( Wazirin Jemaa) etc.
For Igbos wondering where the wealth and origin of the arrogance exhibited by Emeka Offor, look no further.
Idris was Emeka's godfather and protector.
The only man who could call Emeka offor to order, even in his extreme madness.
He never greeted Idris standing, even as a billonaire.
He never looked Gidado Idris in the face.
The foundation of his (Emeka's) wealth was when His company was appointed sole clearing agent for NNPC cargoes by Idris then permanent secretary ministry of petroleum.
Emeka offor was born in katsina to a policeman father, and speaks fluent Hausa.
It was from that lucrative beat ,that Atiku got to know Emeka, and was introduced to all notable Igbo Importers, clearing agents and business men who ship cargoes on the high seas.
More later.
Well said bro.. MORE pls!

Nothing but the truth. You can barely point at a reasonable achievement of this administration with less than 16 months to the end of this tenure. This is so terrible! The painful thing is the opposition is no Messiah-their antecedents speak volume.
This is a very hard thing sad sad sad
We are about to be presented with the same conundrum we faced in 2015 - continue with Jona, confusion and looting everywhere, or pick Bubu, with his islamic extremism, etc. History, oh history.
