Gambit23:Income from sponsors and endorsements is calculated and paid separately and is not included in the figures for both Ronaldo and Messi. |
tunapawizzy:Not true. Messi's total package according to all the latest stories is almost 600million pounds over the past 5 years. See link below showing his annual salary plus bonuses from Barca was 165million dollars (Circa 120million pounds) https://www.forbes.com/profile/lionel-messi/?sh=58e832065e9f |
Dalil8:Wrong. Juventus pays CR 26million pounds a year which makes sense as his Juve contract is 120million Euros for 4 years which runs till 2022 meaning it has not changed. At 26million pounds a year, his weekly pay is about half a million pounds. See authentic link below: https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/what-is-cristiano-ronaldos-net-worth-and-how-much-does-the/wpqwcm08p2o916g11efo6et6z Lies busted! |
focus7:He already prove himself in Argentina and Brazil. Also did same in China. So he has no obligation to prove sh*t to any of you naysayers. Not that he ever had any obligation though. |
tunapawizzy:No o. Took a pay cut from 2.4milla per week to 1.2 million. Remember his just expired annual pay is around 120million pounds. |
Even with 50% wage cut, Messi will still earn 1.2million pounds per week which is at least twice that of his closest challenger globally. That means he was earning a whopping 2.4million pounds/week under his now expired contract while dem CR dey battle with 500,000 pounds/week. Mehn, how did Messi cut this soap abeg? There are levels to this shit. And no need for Messi to leave Barca to prove anything anymore. After all, he has proven himself by winning best player and trophy in 3 continents: South America, Asia & Europe. Let your barbecue CR leave his comfort zone Europe and go and prove himself elsewhere . |
KingTom:TBH, Grizzy's consistent performances for France has made me see that it's likely the Barca system doesnt really suit him rather than him being the problem. So in the end, the wise thing would be to let him leave, despite the risk of him coming to haunt Barca back with Atletico. |

izzou:Oga calm down, it's possible not to notice on the spot when you are buying several items at once which makes it a bit difficult to identify if a particular item's price has been inflated. It has happened to me before but I noticed immediately after stepping outside the supermarket as I mentally suspected something was not quite right with the total I paid which made me to check the receipt and bingo I noticed it was the tissue rolls that were overpriced. |
OJEEMAH:Bingo! You re the bomb bro. Keep blasting away the dumbinos intelligently. It's obvious the only thing that transgender and her ilk will resort to is to be photoshopping and distorting facts upandan so that they can have something to troll about. But we'll always be here to burst their lies making them look all the more stupid and desperate. |
NORSYK:Oh boy, see reasoning like that of amoeba. So Chile and Uruguay are not fairly rated teams abi? Okay make I try come down to your mental level: If we minus CR's Euro 2016 performances against lowly rated Hungary and Wales, he'd end up with Zero goals and One assist which means he had a poor tournament. Against strong teams like France, the Baba jejely disappeared by whatever means only to be carried by Eder in the final. Mehn I'm out and can't even deal with this level of mor0nic mentality. CR people (Obonujoker & co) come and carry your brother o. He needs serious medical attention. |
OJEEMAH:Lol, you and this particular sadist sha. Anyway, your message is completely true. It's individual performances first before using trophy as parapo (association) to enter Ballon D'or conversation through the backdoor. People don't realize that Modric was consistently delivering strong performances in the 2018 UCL campaign and La liga. Before the WC, I remember we were already saying he was the major backbone for CR's scoring feats that season. His individual performances were noticeable and impressive. At the world cup, he also pushed a lowly rated Croatia to the final with strong performances while Mount was lost among the sea of English performers never mind England's much more stellar cast compared to Croatia's. Jorginho did not even really stand out for me both in Chelsea and at Italy. Being good is not the same as being outstanding. |
andrew444:As in ehn, see how Ballon D'or is being belittled. It's not just by scoring in the UCL final o. In 2007, Inzaghi scored 2 goals in UCL final for AC Milan and they also won Serie A. He didnt even make top 10 for Ballon d'or. To have a chance at Ballon D'or in a tournament year, you have to have been outstanding both at club competition and at the tournament. Question is was Mason Mount Chesea's best player at this year's UCL? answer is NO. Was he outstanding at the Euros tournament? Answer is also NO. Infact Sterling, Kane, Grealish, Pickford, Maguire, Declan Rice are ahead of him in terms of tournament performance rating. So where will Ballon D'or come from? People just want to abuse this Luka Modric's law thinking it applies to every tom dick and harry. Same will work against Jorginho. The only Chelsea player that has/had a realistic chance of winning it was Ngolo Kante cos he was already a favourite contender prior to Euros but the tournament has dented his chances. |
paulolee:No vex Brother Paul, at least you got my message BTW, I've modified the final part. |
Did anyone notice that the username that made the "go back to Nigeria" comment is likely a black person? Given that the username "Tejireal" looks Nigerian? Methinks it could be a fellow naturalised Nigerian that asked him to go back home. |
Argentina gat a player in every position category; Martinez, Romero, De Paul & OluwaMessi. |
obonujoker:Joker my friend, we are just starting o, una never shee shumthing and the sweetest part is that una no get any strong basis for trolling again. So it's a walk over for us, except you beg us to be gracious in victory hehehe. |
OJEEMAH:Same here. By the way the moniker's the same as Bev*rlyJe*n who is a registered female. Be like say na transgender she be las las ![]() |
Bigredmachine:Actually, you are right. The Ballon D'or recently assumed more prominence from about 2010 till date when it was merged with the Fifa World best award. After the separation from Fifa Best award in 2016 thereabout, the Ballon D'or retained its prestige and gained precedence over the Fifa Best as the Ballon D'or winner is now seen as the World best player for that year. Prior to 2010, FIFA world best was more recognized case in point with the below: - Ronaldinho won FIFA world best in 2004 while Shevchenko won the corresponding Ballon D'or. Ronnie was officially regarded as the World best that year. - Zidane won World best in 2003 while Nedved won the Ballon D'or. Of course, Zidane was seen as the rightful title holder of the planet's supreme player that year. - Luis Figo won Fifa best in 2001 while Michael Owen won Ballon Dor same year. In truth, no one even regarded Michael Owen as the best player in the Premiership that year let alone across the globe ![]() The reason for the above is that Ballon D'or then was synonymous with European footballer of the year award i.e best footballer playing in Europe. So its restrictive nature then contributed to its inferior standing to Fifa best. But since 2006, all winners of Fifa best have automatically won the Ballon D'or and with the official merger in 2010, the Ballon D'or no longer had an "European" perception but was now seen as a global award for its winner. |
How would he not miss out? Someone that was bested by Sterling, Benzema, Kane, Lukaku and Schtick in the forward department or do his fans think it's by penalties? When Messi scored 6 UCL goals which included 5 penalties, CR fans were saying he had a poor UCL campaign as he only scored one goal from open play. Oya make them apply same principle to their Lizard na. |
Nice one team, Kilishihunter, Ojeemah, Numerouno94, Paulolee. I like how you guys logically dismantled that empty bag of toxicity down into the pit of shame where she belongs. I don't engage her here anymore as she is an absolute waste of time who thinks being smart is solely about dishing insults. Even many of her fellow CR fans here would rather friendly-banter with us opponents than associate with her, yet she no decode say she be outcast here to friends and foes alike. |
OJEEMAH:Will he displace Sterling, Schtik, Kane and even Benzema? Even Lukaku had an overall better rating than him. |
paulolee:Dont blame them na. Na desperation to find something to hold on to to save face. It is now clear that they are the only ones that give relevance to penalties if not, all those reputable sport authorities no go comot Pendu from TOTT list when he even had an assist more than Shtick. That's what we've been telling them all these while which they've been deaf to. |
obonujoker:Joker why are you pasting a fake screenshot or you think you wont be found out which is why you cant drop a link? On Wikipedia page currently there is no team of the tournament yet. So where did you get your own wikipedia screenshot from? Meanwhile reputable sports authorities like BBC, Goal, The Guardian, CBS Sports, GivemeSports all have Ronaldo missing out of the team of the tournament. Please tell me they are all biased. Even you, will you say that as a forward Ronaldo did better than Patrick Schtik (with no penalty scored) and Raheem Sterling (who would have won player of tournament if England had won)? You CR fans are the ultimate fake news peddlers and be infecting each other with ignorance by quoting one another. |
Cristiano that could not even make Euro team of tournament? You CR fans are completely deluded. Go and check ballon d'or power rankings now of reputable sport sites like Goal.com, SportsKeeda, GivemeSports, ESPN and see better objective Ballon D'or favorite rankings and not a yeye list Obembedi pulled out of her as*. You'd be lucky to find your CR in 8-10th position on those sites. Meanwhile Messi is now the number one favorite according to the experts and even Obembedi acknowledges that. Go and hug transformer if e pain you . |
obonujoker:Lol, Remember I told you that you were still gonna say foolish Brazil. Anyway, you are exempted from that my comment you quoted because I've been able to deduce over time that in your heart of hearts you recognize Messi as the Baba Go and sin no more ![]() |
HellVictorinho:Kikikikikiki , I quite understand it's hard to accept defeat. On a serious note, your last few comments is the most polite I've seen this your moniker engage with a Messi fan. Is it Messi's Copa win that finally humbled and imparted you with some decorum . And pls don't get me wrong, it will do you a whole lot of good image laundering for this your moniker if you keep this up . |
Numerouno94:My brother e tire person o seeing as dem give us plenty work to be upgrading IQ of CR fans upandan. But it's a task we must accomplish nonetheless not minding the temporary mental step-down they rub-off on us . And to them, just because you are coming from a place of deep pain doesn't give you the license to ejaculate all sorts of unreasonable statements just in a bid to get back at Messi. It rather makes you appear unhinged and lacking any credibility; a joker of some sort that's sweet to watch but not to be associated with by friends and foes alike. |
BLoomfrancs:Lol, why did you evade my question? Are you not intelligent enough to answer? While I agree that Europe is the power-continent of football because football orginated from there and it has more number of enlightened countries relative to S. America, please tell me why almighty Portugal with Ronaldo has failed to beat any of the supposedly average S.American teams in the persons of Chile, Uruguay, Peru, Ecuador and Argentina. Once is an anomaly, twice can be a coincidence, but three times? Nahh, let alone a whopping 5 times which shows there's a definite pattern. You must answer the question o. |
OJEEMAH:You know how those ignoramuses are the loudest. Sb needs to show them the foolhardiness of their bufoonery ![]() |
HellVictorinho:Okay then, just the same way you cannot prove that Cristiano is better than Thierry Henry or Ricardo Kaka @the emboldened. In fact I put it to you that both players are greater/better than Cristiano - shebi make we all dey ment together ![]() |
HellVictorinho:What is the meaning of Google doesn't recognize Messi? Is google a sports authority that has its own opinion on the subject or merely a presenter of information provided by other sport websites for you to pick what to read? Please ponder on this very well before you engage me on it again. You don't have to worship Messi to acknowledge him. I know several on-ground Real Madrid fans who acknowledge Messi as superior to CR even before the Copa win and without worshipping him. That's the point. That you do not worship Messi does not mean you should deny the obvious fact that he is better than CR, an opinion shared by majority of sport experts globally. I reference the official football ecosystem because any random fan can even say Iheanacho is better than Messi and there's nothing anything can do about such gutter opinion. |
