Barca's play under Xavi has been too heavily dependent on wing-play. Yes it may have worked in Liga pushing us to the top but when we face more physically savvy opponents like Bayern & Inter, our wingers are rendered sterile.

Xavi has to create a balance so we can find alternatives. Barca used to be a team that was dangerous through the middle, now it's almost non existent. He needs to leverage on Pedri, Gavi & FDJ to improve our central attacking play at least so we wont be as predictable as we currently are with Dembele and Raphina. At least before, it was the UCL latter stages where we stumble. Now we are struggling in group stages. Something needs to change drastically.

Lol, I've already resigned myself to the realization that he will likely break it. In fact, I could have said Pep also had this in mind when he took Haaland off at half time, maybe to help Messi's record. If not, the machine fit go score 5 goals yesterday . That said, Haaland may score more goals but he cannot match Messi's quality level. That said, I remember I really did not understand the hype about Raphina here when we were chasing him. From what I'd seen of him in the EPL, he was never a world class player. He still isn't and it's obvious from his decision making and inabilities to effectively function as a winger most times. I mean we have gotten more impact from one-way pony Adama than Raphina. Raphina is Aaron Lennon/Theo Walcott level or even worse. Wonder why it took a long time for you guys to see it. For me, I wrote him off long ago.

And Opponents know this so they just put 2 or 3 players on him, yet spaces are not getting freed up for others as it should in such scenarios. Xavi needs to change this our predictable system fast.
