Kilishihunter:Yeah. And as I've said before, our central attacking play improved in Dembele and Raphina's absence which implies that both players' erratic wingplay style was suppressing Pedri's and Gavi's effectiveness. If Dembouz or Ralph were on the pitch, Gavi would have passed the ball for the second goal to the right wing which would have broken down the attack. Xavi should be able to create an effective blend of wing and central attack just like the Bayern team does. |
Culer:You can say that again. I love when players apply sense in their play and Ferran's decision making has been top notch unlike that Raphailure. |
Kilishihunter:Lol, 2 down, 16 to go ![]() |
Beverlyjean:You dont necessarily need only players that have won trophies for the team to play well. As far as I'm aware, Man Utd isnt challenging for any serious trophies this season so Bruno is a good enough fit. |
Beverlyjean:Like against Liverpool and Arsenal ba? ![]() Bro drop this bias. Players change. Ronaldo was good last season but not up to par this season. Rashy has had some difficult previous seasons but under ETH he seems to be clawing back his potential. That's why ETH is the coach and you emotional guys aren't. |
prinsam30:Yet two experienced coaches in ETH and Santos are not seeing this shit? Bruno is in ETH's team by merit and his stats support it. Logic dictates that since Eth is not afraid to bench an all time great and an English defensive favourite, Bruno would have been axed if he was that poor as you guys say, except na juju he dey use. |
So this is the Bruno that some fake Man Utd fans are saying is not good enough for the team yet he almost scored 2 sensational goals. Obviously and rightfully, Ten Hag has way more sense than some Pendu fans here who would rather sacrifice the team's progress for Wasiuuu's ego. Between Bruno and Ronaldo who is currently undroppable? |
HenryWilliams:Payments to terrorists (not ransom) under any guise is a crime under international law. That ISIS is the recipient makes it worse. It makes Lafarge look like an enabler of ISIS' activities especially when they had the option of pulling out of Syria like other companies did. US is involved because this is an international crime matter that involves a US registered company and since it's part of a larger conglomerate, the entire Lafarge-Holcim group will come under scrutiny. Lafarge US is basically answering for the crimes of a defunct affiliate and of course they'd want to confirm whether its US or European executives had any involvement in the matter. |
Discountsempai:You are right. But the rule is not to be caught doing that. Lafarge's own was obvious as it was still operating in a volatile jurisdiction when other multinationals had pulled out. So naturally this would attract attention. |
"Karim is a team player. He is not the one obsessed with winning all the Ballon dors in the team, he is not the one in the team obsessed with scoring more goals than A, B or C, he is not the one obsessed with courting all the attention in the team, but Karim is the one obsessed with the team itself, and the ballon dor coming to him is a natural consequence of this" - Jose Mourinho 2022. Abeg who dey catch Mourinho's sub ![]() |
Snapchat:"Karim is a team player. Pendu go be like Mou boss, why evuls? ![]() |
Mourinho too dey blunt sha. He was blatantly shading Pendu when praising Benzema's attributes. I'm sure Ronaldo go dey feel the jabs lol Congratulations Big Benz |
Even in Messi's absence he still stole the show during the Ballon dor historical roll call. GOAT! |
vince2016:Thanks. I'm well experienced enough to know that often times, many people follow the crowd out of convenience rather than due diligence. Anyway, you also know that this is the season for spin-doctors. Atiku goofed calling for a northern president while his image launderers are twisting it to pan-Nigerian president. Tinubu had a freudian slip saying rotten to bad, BATists are saying he meant rotten to great. Now Obi don cast his own hyperbolic gaffe, and trust obidients not to be left behind in reinterpreting their principal's statement. The hypocrisies are amusing. |
Patriotic9ja:Watch the video again and follow the context of his claim without any preconceived notion. You'd notice he was trying to emphasize the contribution and social benefits of his investment in the brewery. He was trying to highlight that the investment has grown and is now a massive employer of labour. It was against this backdrop that he dropped the statement and I quote " ...has grown to an entity that employs 60% of Anambra people". The context would not make sense if he meant 60% of its workforce are Anambrarians because it would portray a clannish impression and again it wouldnt showcase that the brewery is making any positive social impact as he was trying to demonstrate. If the brewery has only 10 employees and 60% of them are Anambrarians, this wouldnt qualify as a bragging point and is also not in line with the point Obi was trying to make in that discourse. I'd simply conclude he goofed. |
omenka:And it's very funny seeing his spin-doctors scrambling helter skelter to rewrite and restructure what he said, as if we did not watch the video ourselves. That's the most shocking ethnically divisive statement I've heard from a Nigerian presidential candidate. |
Oh well, we are where we are. The reality is grim and blunt - Barca's players still have a fragile mentality like an upcoming team which is very surprising given the new additions. Dembele is a big letdown. His decision making and end product are poor. This is simply why he is not a world class player despite his world class talent. I do not recall any big game "owned" by Dembele since he joined Barca 5 years ago. Raphina is simply not any top team material. He's tailor made for dem mid-table teams like Leeds, Brentford & co. Malcolm and even our previous Raphina (Alcantara's brother) that we didnt rate much had better end product during their stint. Lewy is turning somewhat into a big game flop as well with the easy chances he's been missing. But he's also suffering from inadequate connection with our midfield. Pedri seems to have regressed under Xavi's tactics. Taking the creative initiative away from him and giving it to erratic Dembele &co has stalled his progression. Xavi? Make the guy just disappear abeg. How can you flop consecutively in the two biggest matches of the half season when it's not like our opponents had better players one on one. |
Baddestguyp:Same thing I've been saying for a while. We also need to learn how to defend obviously even as cliche as this sounds. Relying on inconsistent Dembele and village-class Raphina to win matches for us is a recipe for disaster. |
Mayflowa:Your point is valid. |
cletz991:Actually from the statistics they provided, it's almost a one to one ratio between Nigerians and their dependants and not up to 5 people. Thing is they expect most international students to be single but 9ja students are coming in as couples. |
They dont understand it's the hand of study but the voice of family that Nigerians are doing to Japa there. They expect students to be students: Single and young. But Nigerian students come in doubles and at advanced working ages. Shebi they are the one looking to collect international school fees. They should accept it like that. |
AZControversial:Mbappe wants to play left side. Dont you see that's why he wants Neymar gone and why he's criticising his coach's tactics? Can Vini play right side? |
AZControversial:And ready to say bye bye to Vinicius and Rodrygo's Madrid career. Even Benzema will be at risk. |
I see a retard from Pendu's camp putting this on Messi. Even Beverlyjean as far up as shehe is in Pendu's extremities (pardon me) stated the truth and did not include the GOAT in the fight between Mbappe and PSG management. When PSG drew their match this weekend, Mbappe attacked his coach's tactics on social media after the match. Which sensible player does that? - You walk off the pitch during a counter attack because a fellow player passed to another teammate - You fight your colleagues for penalties - You barge into legendary teammates unapologetically - You whine about your coach's tactics publicly every now and then - Ask PSG to sell off teammates. - Would rather run into a wall of defenders than pass the ball to a free colleague to score. Even as critical as I often am of Cristiano, he understands certain limits of professionalism should not be crossed. Other than his personal tantrums when his team loses or teammates and rivals are doing better than him, he is a good professional. Mbappe's ego and arrogance is off the charts. I would still rate him currently above Haaland as I believe he is currently the most talented player in world football, but damn he is so unlikeable and even his fellow countrymen like Petit are saying this. He has not even reached Lewandoski's level of 2020 let alone Messi and Ronaldo's 2008 and beyond levels and he is already doing this. |
Kyase:Hello, Mbappe says hi, at 2million dollars a week. |
Neneononye:Pere my guy. I just love his confidence and eloquence, reason why I stanned him. Which reminds me guys, between Pere and Ade who would you consider as the ultimate male voice? If you are a lady, whose voice would bring you to orgasm faster . Note that this is a friendly comparison between faves. |
NozinoGroup:Omo this vawulence is pepperific o Please let Hermes rest small and only press his fans neck biko. The guy himself no get problem. |
Beorn:Well you can't say for sure that she was not stronger before than she turned out in the final. My point was that even if she wasnt very strong before, she became even weaker by the finals stage. |
Ramos and Red are a match made in heaven. Maybe the guy was a Spanish bull in his prior life. Meanwhile, see how PSG is finding it difficult to win without Messi. Mbappe should now realize that a tree cannot make a forest. |
JUDGEJUDITH:I said that because Sheggz came into the house with a lot of social media hype which gave him some level of bandwagon at the beginning which Ade didnt have. And that I think is why he still had that slender lead over Adekunle in week 4. Obviously he had started losing fans as the weeks went by. By week 5 Adekunle had become the strongest level 1 housemate and remained so till the end of the season. So I'd agree with you that he was the strongest level 1 overall. The last week of voting I dont think Islanders went as hard as the previous week when he topped Bella cos they sensed Phyna was going to win anyway so kept the money instead to gift splendidly to Kabiyesi. |
Neneononye:My dear, you need to realize that there is a lot of extreme toxicity in BBN fandom which is why ex-Housemates should not bring themselves down to that level. They are now the stars and should no longer behave like fans. I condemn the death wish on Phyna's parents by beauty fans cos I experienced the same with Erica and Elites as an Icon but the truth is you cannot gag toxic fans. Best is to ignore them. Would Goodluck Jonathan banter with those Nigerians who carried his coffin in 2015 or would Tinubu drag those who are hurling vile insults at him now left right and centre? There is a certain etiquette you must observe if you are a public person regardless of criticism which Phyna must learn hopefully. |
The key takeaways from the voting results released are: 1. The trenches being up for eviction early and consistently expanded Phyna and Bryann's voting base over Level 1 HMs 2. Phyna already won the show from the first week 3. Adekunle is way stronger than Hermes. This is a dagger right through the soul of that jester called Pimpas who so condescendingly told totonatu to stop engaging Ade's fans cos he was not on Hermes level not knowing it was the other way round. What a heartbreaking shocker for them deluded ones now accusing Deloitte thoughtlessly just to save face. Hermes is a great guy, but some of his fans have a lot of sense to catch up with. 4. Sheggz was the strongest level 1 HM at the beginning up to week 4. His strategy with Bella became his downfall while Bella's stock rose like yeast from absorbing most of Sheggz fans. Reminds me of an aquatic female organism that eats up its male partner during sex. 5. Phyna's fans spread their votes anytime Phyna was not up. Daniella, Hermes, Adekunle and Groovy have been beneficiaries of Phynation's votes. The implication is that many of Phyna's fans had a second fave as insurance. 6. Daniella was stronger earlier on. Her perceived infidelity later on made her lose fans and she was just lucky to make it into the finals. |
