Politics / Re: Why Investors Are Running Away From Nigeria — Peter Obi by thirdi(m): 3:20pm On Dec 08, 2023
Poor power, multiple taxation and inflation and poor Naira are the core reasons these companies are changing their business model and going into production in the favourable environment and selling in Nigeria.

Millimann:

I don't think this is true.
The landlord first breached the terms of the contract by refusing to refund her caution fee.

what the landlord did is not criminal. what she then did is criminal and will land her in prison. and showing that she is foolish she now recorded it. what a fool

In her small mind, relocation has exonerated her from the consequences of her stupidity.
When she starts reaping what she sowed, I hope she won't start lamenting how wicked the world is? In fact, she will reap more than a double portion of her thoughtless act. And unfortunately, she will NEVER get to relate it.

All these women who think they are brazen are just shortsighted and stupid.

the landlord should go and report her at the consulate of the country she is relocating to grin she will be deported

The first thing to do is get rid of the house fences. totally disfigures the street. then the government should fully support and enforce compliance to design and planning. the goal should be dust control. if its open close it.

Politics / Re: How Floating The Naira Benefits You - Reno Omokri by thirdi(m): 1:10pm On Jun 16, 2023
Reno and his infantile economics. The government's actions so far have primarily resulted in the devaluation of the Naira. Unfortunately, the underlying factors that contribute to the devaluation, such as imports, foreign school fees, and medical tourism, remain unaddressed.

To effectively tackle these issues, it is crucial for us to focus on implementing comprehensive measures rather than relying on superficial laws and pronouncements. We need to work towards developing sustainable solutions that address the root causes of the devaluation and promote economic stability.

By addressing the factors that put pressure on the Naira's value, such as reducing excessive imports, improving the quality of education and healthcare domestically, and encouraging investments in these sectors, we can gradually strengthen the currency and achieve a more stable economic environment.

It is essential for policymakers and stakeholders to come together and devise holistic strategies that encompass various aspects of the economy. This will require careful planning, effective implementation, and continuous monitoring to ensure long-term success.

Let us emphasize the importance of tackling these challenges head-on, as it is only through concerted efforts and a comprehensive approach that we can achieve sustainable economic growth and stability for our nation.

Politics / Re: See One Of The Result Sheets For Sokoto That Was Taken To The Court by thirdi(m): 3:41pm On Jun 02, 2023
To address those who claim that Obi did not win in the north, it is important to remember that the election was not solely about individual candidates. During the presidential election in Nigeria, the citizens were exhausted with the ruling party, the APC (All Progressives Congress), and collectively desired a change. The focus was on moving away from the APC and having a neutral party take over. The narrative about tribal affiliations only surfaced after the APC realized the outcome of the presidential elections.

In a neutral election and without the acrimony of 8 years of directionless governance by the ruling party LP would not have stood any chance. people voted to get rid of APC.

what a foolish analysis ... why did Atiku not win the previous contest with the APC. the truth remains that Obi's inquest into the presidential race was the only reason the ruling party had to show any "interest" in the election. It would have been business as usual. though I know this is just political hogwash news.

Such a pity. I weep for the south. Played like a puppet by some few for send interest. We just lost a golden opportunity. The injured man should get treatment and thank God for keeping him.

My analogy of Nigeria, Cockrell In a cage fighting for supremacy while the owner chooses the one to be slottered for dinner. The issue is not tribe or religion its the rich vs the poor.

Chai. This case is so straight forward as there is no single technicality to swindle this one.

It's just like when a man is almost nabbed in another man's matrimonial bed, runs off, leaving his boxers behind.
The boxers is the forfeiture. So if you know it isn't a crime but a harmless gift which the man doesn't like for his wife, go back and claim your boxers

During the abolitionofslavetrade, many of the slaves refused to leave. They have become accustomed to being slaves, even after the masters removed the chains from them. They walked like they were chained. You can't redeem some people. It's a lost cours
