It's not all about academics, he keeps complaining on how they are extorting pharmacy students to buy books handouts etc! with many other negative things about the school. Dirty hostels especially when he visited his classmates at the hostel. They don't cut grasses etc. Lectures sleep with young girls for grades( his friend in Art faculty, she was coerced by a lecturer to sleep with him), sex for grades and sorting!

Isn't all the above the true as he said?

This isn't the issue of academics at all, he is a brilliant student in pharmacy. I won't tell you his level or name or state etc. He just keeps saying that the school have lost it's glory long time ago! Infact to the extent that if he wants to go back to school, he tells us that let him go back to that rubbish place.

I worked in UNN from bartho to Ozumba Time. Ozumba was the worst! Bartho was rugged and not a good person but Ozumba was a subtle thief. He even used Wifi money to cash out after laptop was made optional. Am not judging in terms of being bad but am judging in terms of being a thief! Ozumba was an innocent looking thief! There is a high degree of discrepancy between being bad and being a thief!

I don't know about that, i just responded to his assertion that they get 10m every month. In Rivers state LGA chairmanship is used to settle political stakeholders in a particular lga, the 400m is just from faac, the igr has not been taken into consideration. I read port Harcourt local government audited annual report for 2021, they generated over 700m internally and received about 3.7b from fg for that financial year.

Now they receive about 5-6b from fg yearly since the new president came, I'm sure igr has also increased.

Then river stage local government chairman is rich than uniport VC.

Former VC of UNN Ozumba Benjamin used that laptop fee to scam students. I know a female student that was a hook up girl that my boss was always patronizing then, so this very day my boss couldn't meet up and I alone was left with the girl at the hotel. Am not that kind of person that indulge in sexual sins so I decided to preach to this girl. She actually told me that she got into the university as a virgin, her parents paid all her fees but couldn't afford the laptop fee of #70,000 so the girl she was squatting with introduced her to hook up to raise the money. After raising the money and paid, she found out that it's like an habit to her like bad habit she can't control so this laptop fees spoiled a good girl. I kept advising her to quit hook up then. This lady was so pretty to be doing hook up. She said the truma of loosing her virginity just to raise the money for the laptop is the main reason she just can't stop hook up. Ozumba is evil for pushing this young lady into this way of life though it was after we helped and reported the issue to a northern federal legislative member that they made the laptop optional the next session after scamming students from the first session in which this girl was a victim. Since then I don't blame hook up girls, you don't know their pains. NOTE that #70,000 as of 2015 was a big hell of money oh! This girl is astonishing beautiful and tall. If you see this beauty, you would loose your mind.

I've worked within the treasury department of a LGA before, and privilege to be closer to some senior academic staff, the guy probably just want to showoff to you since you chose to have a different path from politics.

He wasn't showing off, infact that his building was named after his name that I know. His house is number 1 on the street. When I went to the duplex, I saw his wife who came out to kiss him lips to lips. We entered upstairs, he went in and changed clothes and came out. He isn't faking it. The Lexus car is his car because I went through the photocopies of car papers when he left me in the car to go and get sharwama then. I wanted to be sure because I was surprised and currently now he is an S.A to the current governor. He posted his appointment letter on his WhatsApp status and I viewed it seeing his name fully.

A chairman that is in good terms with his governor earns more. These guys monthly allocations runs in hundreds of millions. If he and the governor has a good relationship, the sharing formula will see him earning more than a VC.
On the other hand, no doubt a VC has access to money, but can't really do much to get hold of it, unless contracts he awarded to himself or family members and kickbacks cos everything he does, there's a supervisory body to check him - the university Senate, ministry of education and even the government if it's a public school.
There's no project or contract he can do in a month and he'll easily cash out 100M without anyone seeing the fraud. Unless he got grant that the entire university was not aware of which is near impossible.
Unlike the VC, the local govt chairman just need to meet with the governor and sign off his monthly allocation once it hits the state govt account, gov take his share, give chairman his own and use the little remaining to pay salaries of workers in the local govt. Now, this is a monthly thing, not occasional as with the VC.

Meanwhile, the possibility of a chairman making this money depends on the state oo and the personality of the chairman. That you're a chairman doesn't mean you can always go-to the governor to go and share money. If it's someone who's not proactive politically, not sure he can pull strings that can make a governor allow him access to funds for aquanderi.

Exactly because back then he once mentioned to me that him and his boss that was a local government chairman went to meet the governor of the state in his personal hometown one certain time like that and said the governor loves his boss(L.GA chairman) so much that he made him to over see other chairmen in a particular committee.
