In the comments, many great minded Nairalanders argued for and against "Marrying with a 100K income" from many perspectives.

This post is all about putting the theories in figures. STAY TUNED .

Now the man (From a supportive family) earns 100K and decides to Marry. That is #1,200,000 per annum (1.2M).
His expected expenditure should look like this:
➡️Cost of wedding =Free (Family Sponsors).
➡️ House rent =Free (Has 2 rooms in his family house).
➡️ Electricity Bill (2K a month X 1 year) = #24,000.
➡️Feeding with wife and kid/s (At least 2K a day X 1 year)= #730,000.
➡️Clothing =Nil (He doesn't change clothes ).
➡️Wife Expenditure = Nil (Her parents supports her and fends for her in his house )
➡️Baby Diapers = Nil (Baby wears Napkin).
➡️ Water (Sachet water and others) =Free.
➡️Baby Food and Groceries (Milk, etc, 5K per month X 1 year) =#60,000.
➡️Transportation to work (500 Naira per day X at least 270 days a year) =#135,000.
➡️Recharge card and Data for our man and wife (#200 a day x 1 year) = #73,000.

TOTAL SO FAR =#1,022,000 (1M, 22K)
Our man will be left with #178,000 (178K) at the end of the year in review.

⚠️You will observe that I was extremely prudent in the expenditure, in the hope that both his family and the wife's family support the marriage which is most times unlikely; what applies is that you the man is the one supporting them instead.

⚠️ I only added basic RECURRENT costs and didn't account for emergencies like Healthcare, or even miscellaneous. I also obviously avoided school fees, baby wears, etc.

❓Can you marry with 100K income? YES & NO!

You can if you already have a room in your parents house, your family and her family is supportive financially and otherwise, you like stress and you are comfortable with your current financial status (as marrying at this stage will give you little room for financial improvement and growth)

But if you desire to grow financially, break the chain of poverty, value your peace of mind, want to give your family the best and live in a city where you pay for rent and other things, then it'll be a suicide mission to marry with a 100K income.

For example, Travis Scott had one of the most catastrophic concert that killed fans. Travis was cancelled but Diddy was the one that held Travis Scott down during that Rick bottom moment.

Diddy made sure Travis will still perform and gave him his first concert after that tradegy

Now look at Travis has comeback with a world tour and us making multi millions all thanks to Diddy, and Rick Rubin.

I think Diddy was very instrumental to Burna boys international success and now the man is locked up it affected business.

A very fantastic decision by ECOWAS, these bunch of tadpoles called military coupists won't take you seriously if ECOWAS doesn't put its feet down.
Where are Nigerian opposition?, why are they not crying, wailing and shouting the name of the Sierra Leone's President under whose leadership ECOWAS suspended Guinea Bissau?. Oh, I forgot, President Bio is not running for election in Nigeria, therefore, they can't use his name to score cheap political points. You can imagine if Tinubu was still ECOWAS President, imagine all kinds of things wailers would have been saying about Tinubu. When Tinubu was handling the situations in Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso with iron fist, wailers were screaming all over the place, forgetting that if you failed to send a strong warning, you're laying a ground work for bad precedent. And that's what you have now, where military tadpoles could truncate a democratic system at will. I will also be waiting for Gen Yakubu Gowon to write President Bio asking him to restore Guinea Bissau like he pleaded with Tinubu. Yakubu Gowon also share a part of the blame in this.
Wailers, why are you not screaming President Bio's name like you did to Tinubu?, is it because you can't use his name to get votes in 2027?. Nigeria's opposition are the dullest bunch on earth.
And to those justifying coup because of France's influence in some African countries, what would you say about Guinea Bissau, are they trying to liberate themselves from Portugal, hence the coup?

1- OP, a lot of people gave you the advice to improve yourself so that you can deserve women later, and I disagree with that.

2- That said, I would also like to question why someone has to improve at all to get women.
It would be like admitting that she is superior to you (and so you need to close the gap to reach her level). Thus, I believe that it is a simpish mindset.

3- When you are "perfecting" and "bettering" yourself to get women, remember that the woman you are currently improving for is being "pounded" by a nobody in the neighborhood who never even heard about improvement, some guy still leaving in his mom's house, her classmate who never had to "improve", or some guy who straight up paid for it. You most likely won't find her a virgin bro, and the guy who deflowered her is no better than you.

4- If you improve, do it for your own wellbeing and that of your loved ones.

At 25 years, I've never had a proper girlfriend.. might sound like fiction but it's true

I've actively chased girls all my life.. but I've never actually met any that liked me for me..

This was particularly worse in university.. all the girls I met were dumb and were only interested in chasing good grades instead of just actively existing..

Some are even married now and their lives are still robotic and pathetic.. these days they're chasing corporate certifications and more needless difficult things instead of just calming down and living their lives

Interestingly, the only one that had a school cert I met that gave me her number later told after two years (we never had sex btw) that she feels my family won't allow us marry as I had a BSc and she doesn't.. (young girl of 22 ).. naso she break things up. Bro the reason was just weird and strange. I suspect though she has another man she's attracted to.

All the other girls I keep meeting keep using me for money.. rather than bonding emotionally, it's always send me card.. buy me ice cream.. take me out.. stupid nonsensical crap and whatnot

Bro.. I'm just tired. I earn 100k a month and all I do I just sit indoors, jerk off and hate my life.. it's almost true love died with the last century. Without a partner.. my life just feels hollow and meaningless
