But on a normal ground they ought to be paid... And don't compare ASUU with NLC.. NLC holds all the workers in Nigeria Public or private.. If NLC give directive for strike government go pay.. |

Politics › Re: NLC Gives Six Conditions To Call Off Strike by Thomthom(m): 9:25pm On Nov 15, 2023 |
Whalis: There is no condition that will work if FG don't bring down the price of fuel. You can't be working in Nigeria earning local salary and be buying petrol at international market price..if this situation continues it will be very horrible for Nigerians. Legal status should be granted to artisan refiners. Nnpc allocates 445000 barrels of crude everyday for local consumption. This should be made available to them to buy. This will reduce the damage to pipelines. Things are not getting better. Most problems faced by countries require local and not World Bank or IMF solution. You just said something sensible and meaningful but some persons will call you an ibo man because of this comment |

Politics › Re: ASUU, COEASU, others mandate Members to comply wiith Strike Action by Thomthom(m): 8:49am On Nov 14, 2023 |
Teenaira: The NLC President forgot his position and his responsibilities as he decided to drag the NLC into the political terrain through Labour Party ( Obi’s disciples ) . So, what should first be investigated is why NLC was dragged into politics in imo state. So if the NLC chairman went to do politics in his state, what concerns Nigeria as a country with that. A lot of nonsense is just happening in this country. There is also a court injunction stopping labour from going on strike. Yet Mr NLC chairman, Ajaero is bigger than the court and has gone ahead to declare a strike. We are on impunity mode, let everybody continue to do anything they like until government decides to use the big stick. All this long story to support FG.. wire me 50k on the day of strike, I go go work since we no won wise for Nigeria |
