Profgordons:Mayn thanks Prof..... when I tried spousal sponsorship, I noticed they were asking me to create a new profile for them. Is this still necessary when I've included all their details as dependent including medicals in my own profile. |
Hello fam, Please, I need assistance from seniors in the house. When I applied for PR, I applied as married but unaccompany. Now, my application has been granted and I have landed in Canada. I want to bring my wife and daughter in now but don't know the way to go about it. Though I've raised a Web form for it but I'm yet to get a response. I will appreciate if I can be guided on how to go about it so that my family can join me here. Thanks |
Many thanks, Trying to draft one now..... could not use the interactive tool because I don't have the latest adobe installed. GraciousWords: |
Morning fam, Please, I need help with format for authority letter for child to travel from biological mother. How best do I go about it. Thank you.

eMedicals, passport, birth certificate and POF are intact but her photo was not provided. I am not sure if it is needed. Maybe people who have applied with children can assist. Mmamaroon: |
Many thanks @mmamaroon The child belongs to the PA and was added as a dependant. We could not submit her medicals and passport at the point of submission due to unavoidable issues and this was explained with LOE. However, the medicals and passport was done later and we raised a webform to submit both. Also, the child was listed as unaccompanying. Is there still need for proof of full custody(PA is the biological father of the child). Mmamaroon: |
Betterlife2018:Seniors in the house, please assist. One cannot be too sure on this journey. Please, how do you confirm if you have truly and suucessfully added your child/stepchild in your application. Just to avoid unnecessary and avoidable drama. |
I have the passport already and I've sent it via web form along with her medicals. listowell: |
I included LOE when submitting the application that I am not married to the child's mother and the child was in her custody which denied me the opportunity of getting her Int'l passport (reason why her birth certificate was included) and why she will be unaccompany. But I guess the officer in charge is still assuming we were formerly married. saskatoonguy: |
I included my child in the application. I had the child earlier before getting married (not to the child's mother). As such, I was never married to her. They saw the mother's name on the birth certificate and noted that the name is different from that of my spouse and no divorce certificate was included in the application. Since, we were never married, there is no how I will include a divorce certificate. What do you suggest? Seniors in the house should also assist with their opinion henrinco: |
Boss, Please help a brother. I requested for GCMS note and noticed they require additional information on my profile and it is yet to be communicated to me either through mail or my application. Can I go ahead to provide such information or I need to wait for them to request for it. Also, I noticed the offices recommended interview. AVO...... 13 month post AOR sesan01: |

Good evening people, My application for PR was submitted on 26th of July, 2019 and the estimated completion date is 26th of January, 2020. However, the most recent update on the status of my application is a confirmation of completed biometrics dated 9th of September, 2019. It is almost three months from the estimated date of completion. I have filled the web form on the site and they replied that my file is located at the Canadian visa office in Accra, Ghana. I have sent a mail to the visa office in Ghana and did not get a response from them. I'm worried about my application as it looks to be dormant without any update on it. I will appreciate any information that can be of help as the wait is becoming frustrating. |
