PoliticsRe: America And Allies May Attempt To Assassinate Buhari Tonight by thoth: 11:16am On Apr 21, 2015
You don't know how these things work and i won't argue with you on that. Everything looks so simple to you that you are so sure that in every SYSTEM 1+1 =2. Whatever Buhari has in mind, a meeting with a couple of presidents, high ranking officials will expose his inner thoughts, a simple analysis of each meeting, his answers to different seemingly unrelated question and some little details the untrained mind would ignore will tell you all you need to know. Every conversation he has with each of the delegates are analysed. before you start with asceticism and taciturnity let me inform you that Buhari made promises to these people, and i mean promises to accept and carry out very damaging policies(OBJ style) , Tinubu made even more promises and infact gave assurances on behalf of Buhari. I understand that human being can be cunning and harbor ulterior motives that's why till now i have not denounced buhari, instead i choose to wait to see how it all plays out. Till now he has been following their recommendation to the letter but i won't still denounce him. Buhari is not trained on how to beat this form of "friendly interrogation techniques"so even if he is good person they will still get a clue.
Have you ever wondered why prospective US presidents hold interviews but stop talking to TV hosts etc once they become president ? have you ever read an interview of president Obama or Benjamin Netanyahu ? You can't find such things!!
Please try and find a transcript of conversation between a US/Israeli president with a 3rd world president and see that he asks all the questions and answers nothing. Can you tell me why it is so ?
birdman:
They dont need Ouattara for that. One of the advantages of being ascetic is that you are also taciturn. Anything Buhari has in mind, he isnt going to say until he is firmly in power, for good or bad. If you and I are able to deduce Outtara's significance, best believe the Buhari camp does. Btw, Outtara may be a stooge, but he is not an IMF stooge. Not for the purposes of this visit at least. Interesting times grin
PoliticsRe: America And Allies May Attempt To Assassinate Buhari Tonight by thoth: 6:54am On Apr 21, 2015
Buhari made many promises before he was MADE president, Tinubu made even more promises on his behalf, many which Buhari don't even know about. I am not saying the World Bank/IMF and multinational don't trust Buharis word but the way such business is conducted is this, Outarra is here to re-propose one or two of the former policies, guages Buharis reaction and reports back to his employers, This trick of enforcing a test proposal with a proxy ensures against 3 things, first it gives them a clue whether they have been betrayed or will be betrayed so they can act quickly and decisively to avoid a bigger loss, Secondly, they can access Buharis motive without causing bad blood between them, for example if a World Bank official did the test proposal instead of a proxy and Buhari rejects then there will bad feelings directly among the two parties and Buhari out of fear or just caution might start getting ideas which nobody wants, and might take drastic actions which will mess the other party's(IMF) chances up, but if a proxy does it, they get early warning of the possibilities and can think out ways to placate him, bribe him, blackmail him or destroy him without him suspecting them and being overly cautious. plainly they got early warning, Nigerians(buhari) don't. Thirdly and most important, Outtara will perform a Depth Testing analysis which is simply to find out how deep or far Buhari is willing to go with their usually obscene policies, Outtara will bring up several bizarre policies noting Buharis answer till he perceives discomfort in him, either by confrontation or by evading direct answers. Non of the real guys will meet him yet,but a lot of puppets will smooch up on him.
GenBuhari:
Anybody thinking it is far-fetched should think back a few months when our General narrowly survived assassination by a suicide bomber.

Call me paranoid or onye ara (mad) , but future of Nigerians and indeed Africans rests on this our humble General.

On Buhari rests the future prosperity and progress of Nigeria and Africa.

On Buhari rest the security of the lives of Nigerians as America and its allies gets set to unleash the type of mayham to break up Nigeria that may soon see our blood flowing in gutters.

We Nigerians just do not realise how very high the stakes are.

what sort of colonized white man worshipping bastard is this ? In USA there are no jobs, a white out of job dude will mow your lawn even for less than minimum wage, My nephew picked up a bartender in a bar, very beautiful and good mannered, you know what ? she holds a degree .there are thousands like her,my sister told me the situation is so bad that the new math teacher in her daughters high school holds a PhD in Computers Science. How much brainwashing did it take to make you feel so inferior about your black skin and uphold the whites in this light ? Save Yourself.
lolababe331e:
I've answered you, if the Chinese start coming to Nigeria to drive taxis I can assure you the locals will be upset. Imagine foreigners coming to be cleaners and such, the locals will feel they are taking the few jobs available to them. In America, most Americans don't wNt to do the menial jobs that's why they don't have a problem with foreigners doing it but in SA the menial jobs is all most of its black population is qualified to do.

There is no excuse for xenophobia, however the likes of Mugabe are part of the problem. His people are in SA in their millions doing menial jobs they are over qualified for because there are no jobs in their country. He has exported his country's problems to SA and now the weight is killing them, same with the other african countries involved.
PoliticsRe: Robert Mugabe At It Again by thoth: 6:07am On Apr 17, 2015
There are thousands of Americans, Portuguese and Canadians doing menial jobs in Angola and south Africa, i am talking bartenders, shop keepers, construction, foreman, most Portuguese open small kiosks etc.
lolababe331e:
Do you find Americans with Degrees rushing to Nigeria to do menial jobs like driving taxis huh

The black South Africans are not attacking foreigners with professional jobs but those with menial jobs that they think are being taken away from them. Have you heard any foreigners with professional jobs getting attacked huh It's the poor people attacking foreigners in the ghettos who they believe have come to take away the few opportunities available to them.If Zimbabwe was good it's people won't need to go to SA to be drivers, cleaners, security and such. No American or British would come to Nigeria to do such jobs. They are not attacking the British and Americans in SA because they do jobs that the black South Africans recognize that they don't have the qualification to get anyway, the contention is the foreigners that take the unskilled jobs away from the locals.

Imagine if the Chinese came to Nigeria to take the low level jobs, how would the poor people who already have very few opportunities react?

@ cap28, Thoth, deepsight, igbo2011- finally our suspicion of Buhari being a US puppet has been confirmed. Nigeria is finished.
Tinubu made many promises for him months before the election and he agreed on all, the truth is that he is only a pawn to this whole game, I was disappointed on how incredibly shortsighted he was. However the real shocker is about to pop up, i just beg your patience.

you win by simple majority. not by county majority or electoral votes. so yes it is the rawest form of democracy yet. simple majority with substantial representation in all states. do you understand now?

Buhari WILL be sworn in. Some of us are not scared of victory.
Is that the meaning of Democracy to you ? Election, voting, winning and losing a seat ? is that all that Democracy means to Nigerians ?
Two years of the next regime is all you need because right now like the soo many others, you don't understand.

It's not my place who say who gets sworn in, i really have no interest in that.

i dont know. but do you? you are the one who brought it up. I assume you would then have numbers to prove LASG wrong. And I assume you have some reasonas to why 5 years is the golden timeto pay off a loan. It seems you do not have those numbers. So then, what was your basis for making those assertions?
Why are blacks always attracted to Economic Shamans ? Because you guys always throw away your common sense and gets befuddled by economic hitmen with numbers, fancy words like GDP,gini etc, why can we as a people get enlightened and use the knowledge we got to solve our malady .
My statement is very simple that any one can understand it, having the backdrop that those foreign institutions has be siphoning Lagos state funds in the name of interest, money which should be used for development instead, coupled with that the debt Lagos state government owes has given the foreigners leverage over Lagos state policies, they decide which contracts gets awarded, to which company, which development policy gets carried out , keep all that in mind and know that these greedy institutions are stunting the growth of the state with the highest Internal Revenue and GDP ....... now in order to remove the chains of debt and be truly sovereign the states has to be pay up it's debt , it is widely know as a fact that if you can't pay off these vampires within five years then you can't pay them off at all because they use the interest rate to strangle the nations, to make sure that the debt never gets paid and the nation ends up paying more than 20 times what it bborrowed, infact if you were a good reader you would be aware of this from countless studies performed in Africa and South America.

Divide the amount owed by Lagos by 7 and keeping in mind the cost of civil salaries and pretending that the debt has no interest, tell me if the state can pay off it's debt and fulfill it's civil obligations at the same time ?

Note: excluding the interest rate from debt calculation is absurd but i believe it helps to get your head around the ideas and also show how deep in this mess we have jumped.

you have proof that it cant? i want to see it. GDP based or not.
Can Lagos pay it's civil servants if it starts paying off its debt by 20% per year, hoping to clear it off within 5 years during which it stops borrowing ?

Can it pay off both at the same time, ? I don't know how these institution disabled common sense and let those nonsense fly.

Let me rephrase, If Lagos decides to pay of it's debt within 5 years by paying 20% of it per year will it still be able to pay off it's civil servants without borrowing ?

It is something many has observed since the last days of IBB regime that Nigerians can't see through an intrigue, no matter how many times it's been replayed.

and just to add, there is nothing wrong with borrowing..its the amount you borrow compared to your ability to repay. Do you have proof that LAogs has borrowed anywhere near its GDP?
and Lagos can repay what it has borrowed ?
don't even bring that misleading GDP to lending ratio in this discussion.

To your first statement, I suggest you look up the instances of the old, infirm, pregnant and hospitalized finding their way to polling centers all across the nation. A sufficient majority has been exposed to the internet and the outside world, and for the first time in Nigerian history (in my lifetime at least), Nigerians are capable of shame. People recognized the chance to actually do something different for once and they seized it.

To your last question, Nigeria has never fit into capitalist, socialist or any other western economic ideology for any length of time. And it never will - the fact that it is a melting pot of nations in and of itself means everything has to be shared between regional power blocs. As far as political ideology, Nigeria will remain feudal for the next century I believe. It is the underlying assumption even in democratic institutions. And frankly, I dont mind it.
That is exactly my point, the illusion that Nigerians can bring about a positive change through the ballot remains the most damaging incursions into our social Psyche. A mild effort in understanding the workings of western styled democracy is enough to convince anyone that such systems will never bring any positive change in a multi ethnic, multi religious nation like Nigeria, the role of money and the propensity by it's nature to be preyed by private interest. Keep in mind that Nigeria remains a victim of neocolonialism and as such can never attain true sovereignty through the ballot.

Nigeria a victim of neocolonialism, a multi ethnic, multi religious nation can never progress without unity, It's aboundantly evident that our present system can never unite us, Any serious student of Social Systems, History or with a bit experience in Psychological Operations will tell that only an ideology can unite Nigeria. Only an ideology can cut across through ethnic, political, religious lines and present a common front to battle the Monster(s) that stands in our way of progress.

Please don't make the mistake of plugging in European initiated ideologies(communism, socialism, capitalism etc) into this equation, Africans are capable of creating their own unique ideology, and only by doing so can we solve the problems unique to Africa and also avoid the carefully crafted pitfalls present in alien ones.

Don't let it bother you, because such laws are not far from Nigeria. APC is a neoliberal capitalist dredging machine. check out their marriage with world financial institutions, they propensity to borrow in large sums, the Massive privatization that goes on in every state they govern, their blatant preference to foreign exploitative institutions both in the sphere of Policies(advisors) and Infrastructure(projects, implementations ,taxation etc).

Yes that includes me as , because the situation we are discussing is not sort a few enlightened men can turn around, so even if you want to make a change the people you are trying to help will disappoint you.

There is one solution and that is Decolonization of the Masses and Nationalization(Africanization) of all that is Nigerian.

I distinctly remember you waffling about Buhari before the elections. Now you are wondering about his assasination should he become the leader we want. What new theory are you guys going to bring out 6 months from now?

All your theories implicitly assume we are unable to steer our own destiny in the face of conspiracy. You do realize this in of itself is racist right?
You didn't follow me all along, and USA never predicted anything along election lines. Nobody is wondering anything. Someone is trying to achieve something here which again you don't understand. So the best option is to watch keenly what happens in Buhari's regime.

And YES! Nigerians are not capable to steer their destiny, with or without conspiracy. They just make a soup pie out of everything they get their hands on.

Whether Bagudu is truly a looter or not is not clear, but is known is that he is dishonest and corruptible.

He has links with the World Bank, who were upset that Abacha rejected all the loans offered to him.

It surprised me when he won the primaries to be adopted as a candidate for governorship for APC indicating that there is some corrupt possibly neocolonialist forces manipulating the affairs of APC

Russian pensions were
three times larger than what the Ukrainian
government paid – and now the Ukrainian
pensions are being slashed further in compliance
with austerity demands from the International
Monetary Fund.
This month, Nuland boasted about those pension
cuts in praising the Kiev regime’s steps toward
becoming a “free-market state.” She also hailed
“reforms” that will force Ukrainians to work harder
and into old age and that slashed gas subsidies
which helped the poor pay their heating bills.
Can you imagine ? Now i don't know Nigerians and Ukrainians who is more stupiid. IMF/World Bank will introduce them to real hell soon.

It is a very humble room I tell you. Of course the whole building's majesty will make this a moot point to some. It is Church property. By the way I'm glad you read Evangelii Gaudium unlike others who criticise out of total ignorance.
I only asked just a couple of simple straightforward questions, i don't know how hard answering that would be.
All points you made above are irrelevant to our situation and those not solve the crucial problems plaguing Nigeria nor has it assisted in any way, However if efforts are made to carefully analyze those points you raised i am very sure that they form a significant portion of our problems.

Yes even it is prayer that I am offer to God for the sake of my country and this continent " Africa", I will keep doing till change comes.
Africans has been praying for more than 150 years, generations after generations have been slaughtered by the same people who instructed them to pray and never fight, to leave all revenge for God. Africans have been praying consistently to the God that they were told brings good life, wealth and peace, they have never known peace ,good life nor wealth meanwhile those ones whom has been killing us, making war, stealing ,pillaging and fornicating all over are the ones enjoying peace, good life and wealth. there is no end in sight for this misery , are we to keep praying till this generation is out and another generation of miserable fools comes to stay and go on with the prayers ? What exactly have we done to God ?
But one thing that I would not do is to sit down and listen to conspiracy theories like the one the op is feeding some folks.
Meanwhile in the midst of the poverty, the wars, economic and political instability,I have seen enough reason to be hopeful for the future of Africa. I have seen very petriotic young Nigerians who in their little Horizones are making changes to the society by contributing their tipping point.
What makes it a conspiracy theory ?
Can you please show us those patriots let's try to analyze their contribution and find a link between them and your prayers ?
Question you never asked yourself is why is there poverty, war, economic and political instability as long as you can remember .
I am really sorry but i just want to tell you that you have just been listening, acting, living in a well crafted conspiracy all your life, prove me wrong.
These are the ones that will taken over in the future government and ministries of this great country and continent.
My last shot for you guys is that there is every reason to be hopeful. Christainity is not the problem and believe me " God is not dead". We should rise up and become great the people that we were created to be.
Whom will they take over from, which ones are holding it now ?
Most importantly HOW will they take over ?
Christianity is not one of the problems then what is ?
If its not a problem then is it a solution ? if yes what does it solve(details)?

God is Alive , irrefutable Fact!! the problem is that we might have different definitions for God and how best to worship God.
