Good evening all.
My application is approved. How do I send my passport for approval? Do I have to send to VFS or can I send it to Egypt or Paris on my own.
Thank you. |

Mmamaroon: Thank you mamaroon, It’s for my friend, we would research further. Thanks
Looking at the NOC structure I don't think NOCs starting with 4 would typically be working in a bank .....the 4 series look more like a public policy roles (I may be wrong). Check 6235 and any others that may be a better fit. Also, in the lead statement of the NOC they typically tell us where (what industry/sector) people with that NOC are likely to work.
In general, each NOC has several duties listed as bullet points. Number these bullet points from 1 to 10 or wherever it stops and then put the appropriate number beside your JD duties and repost. This way we should be able to see if most of the duties have been covered....or not. I don't know a better way.

Good evening everyone. I saw a question here about using savings that has been accumulated over 6 months for POF but issues were raised with it. The issue I have with mine is I moved money from my naira Mutual fund account in January to a Eurobond account to avoid this devaluation palava. In the letter provided, they stated the account was opened in January and the amount I invested. I didn’t explain the history of funds or include the source. Do I need to raise a web form and include statements of my mutual fund from 2019 to explain fund source or do I ignore? |

Good evening house, for someone who application was rejected before biometrics, is it still advisable to go for biometrics? Biometrics was scheduled weeks ago shortly after receiving the instruction but the application came back as denied for several reasons. Should the person still consider going for biometrics? Thank you |

Hello house, my 2 cents based on the struggle a lot of people have making FX payments.
The CBN would commence sales of FX to BDCs by Monday. The rates would likely drop (May be or not be a drastic drop) depending on supply and demand and other factors. It may be a good time to consider buying $ if you need it in the near future. Things are not so predictable and prices may increase before the year runs out so just buy once the rates drop.
Bank limits on naira cards may not increase anytime soon so if you can, open a dollar account and fund it so you are not all over the place when you need to make payments for WES, Application fees and the rest. |

MayorOfEdmonton: Is it state of birth or date of birth? If it is state of birth I dont think that will matter much if you dont need to claim sibling point(i.e you dont need to upload it). But for conformity sake you can either correct it at immigration or get a new Attestation of birth from NPC (whichever is cheaper or u are comfortable with). Date of birth though is important, the correct date of birth should be on your passport and birth certificate especially should any of your sibling need to claim points off you in the future. Cheers
Thank you for your response. Correcting it at immigration is doesn’t seem possible right now. I have a birth certificate from National Population Commission. So do I choose the place of birth on my passport or birth certificate ? |

Kekereekun123: unless you are claiming sibling points. Birth certificate is not required. Your age is the one on the passport. You can get it corrected for about 120k to 150k. Letter from notary public cannot get you out of trouble now or in future. I did not state I had a problem with my age. The issue is the city of birth on my passport. I am not claiming siblings point, I just want to know if I go with the state on my birth certificate or the one on my passport |

Good Afternoon Everyone. Please I need some clarifications, my birth certificate carries a different state of birth from my passport. At the time I got my passport, I got a letter from a Notary Public to explain that it was an error by immigration. In filling my personal history, what place do I put as place of birth? The state on my passport or state on birth certificate? Do I need to include this in my LOE along with the notary public letter I got in 2014? Please advise |
