Fam please I am having issues getting my result evaluated by WES. Transcript got there March ending and till now nothing.
Sent them numerous mail only for them to tell me it’s been sent and waiting for Unilag to verify via mail, yet Unilag has not received any mail.
The new information say they need a written note from Unilag. These guys are just stressing me.

The truth is whether you have been on this platform for 100 years. Respect everyone. If someone’s question pisses you off, ignore it, no insults, no trolling etc. Just scroll pass. When nobody answers the person, the person would do the needful. I see a lot of rude and degrading comments on this platform, it’s a pity!!!

There is no harm in adding your SOA. Mine was bulky as well, so I just got the letter from my bank stating my account balance and I attached a copy of the statement I downloaded online. For GTB there is usually a stamp affixed on the pdf format. Not sure of other banks though.

If you can get a reference letter in CIC format and attach the mutual fund certificate to it, you are good to go. I included SOA because I could not get reference letter in CIC format

In whatever your friend does, he or she shouldn't try to use GTB letter head paper in case he/she is in a department that has access to it. It will not end well. As far as I know, I do not think GTB issues offer letter to anyone ( I stand to be corrected). Your friend may need to get his or her supervisor or even a colleague to help write the letter on a plain paper and possibly notarize it and then back it up with a LOE.

eeeh lemme respond to this real quick. I don’t know if it’s the same with IELTS British Council tho, but REMARKING WORKS! It has worked very well for me.

I wrote my first IELTS: 8.5,8.5,7.5,6.5 respectively. 6.5 for writing. For the second exam, I concentrated on the writing and still got 6.5 in writing!!! I knew what I wrote. I was literally devastated. I applied for remarking and my 6.5 was changed to an 8! 1.5 bands were added! My speaking also moved half band from 7-7.5. So I had 8,8,7.5,8 on the second try and that’s what I needed. My 15k was refunded. I didn’t even care! I was more than happy to get my 8.

Yes my case is an exemplification of grace cos me sef no expect to see band 8. But this is how it works. Generally, you can get half or one band when we apply for remarking. This applies to Speaking and Writing only cos the examiner uses your language production to access your level of English Language proficiency. So it allows for a bit of DISCRETION. But when it comes to reading and listening, it’s like OBJ. It’s either you get it right or you don’t. No discretion.

So if you are looking for a half band or one band in WRITING OR SPEAKING, please ask for a remark.

Please, I have some issues with my Wes verification. My school sent my transcript to Wes via courier, UPS precisely and gave me a tracking code. The package/transcript has been delivered to Wes 7 days ago as shown by ups, but Wes is yet to acknowledge receipt of package and my profile still shows

STATUS :ON HOLD. WE ARE WAITING FOR YOUR DOCUMENTS.

Please my question is, how long does it take for Wes to acknowledge receipt of credentials?
Mine is about a week now, yet no acknowledgement
I've sent emails but I haven't had any luck with that either.

Unilag sent those of us who haven’t gotten certificates ‘To whom it may concern’ today. Can I upload that to WES instead of paying another 25k to Unilag for Statement of Result?

Waoh. I just tried to do it on Unilag website. The charge is now 30k (DHL delivery). I requested for my transcript only for now.
Does this mean if I want to also request for statement of result I will pay another 30k making it 60k??
