Someone is having trouble getting top ratings and you're recommending the most difficult job on QA World for him.

I don't know if anyone has worked on a Kwantum Azzurance call. They seem to be a new client. Those people have the cleanest audio. Even more than Sonron and Dijital Aer Struck..The AI transcript was almost perfect.
All I was practically doing was indicating speakers label and making minor corrections.

Maybe my maths is rusty. But this does look like the pay per minute is underwhelming inferior to QA's.

Read from page 1. You'll get the drift. If the number of pages is a deterrent, read 1 through 30. That should get you acquainted and started. All the information I needed was in those pages. All others was repetition and conversations.

I make nothing less than $40 a week with PHONE, minus the bonus( and that's if I'm lazy that week or due to call scarcity) working with my phone is just like chatting with my hommies(so fast). Lol.. Well, weda PC or phone, the end point is to make money. Stop complaining and start doing what works best for you.

True. I use a mobile phone too and it works well for me. I'm sure a PC will work just as well. Never made less than $40 since my first week of work.

You obviously lost the context in which I posed that question. Only Filipinos are recruited as Analyst on QA. Then I asked what's special about them. Is there something they possess that others don't? Why is being an Analyst only exclusive to Filipinos? That's the context of the question

Requirements for the Analyst role:
-only Filipino applicants are accepted at the moment
-excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
-background in sales calls analysis
-a recommendation from me if aspiring applicant is an existing transcriber
-letter of intent and up-to-date CV or resume.

The SCC role on the other hand, is by invitation from me

I wonder what's special about the Filipinos.

I've enquired regarding that b4 on slack. I got a reply from the SCC on duty that u don't apply for it and they (the scc's) were selected/contacted based on their QA ratings..

If it was as simple as that, I see no reason why Arlen sent him a DM instead of just spilling the beans on that thread.

Good gracious the Indians are restricted. Otherwise, the platform would have been overrun years ago. Indians are like ants, they're everywhere on the cyberspace.

I saw a thread on slack where this Jude guy among us asked Arlen how SCCs are recruited and if there's more to being a transcriber at QA World. Arlen sent him a DM as regards that.

Make de guy show up come furnish us with wetin Arlen tell am. Seems there's more to being a transcriber on QA and only a select few knows about it.

Don't worry. It will be done. Same happened to me and the transaction was completed 72 hours later.

Been on flawless mode since two days now. An average of 5.0 in last 10 call ratings. The fives be lining up like stacked plastic chairs.

The influx of Latinos in QA World is scary mehn. The fact that that YouTube lady had to make concurrent translations into Spanish in that her tutorial video, shows that more than half of these Latinos coming in aren't supposed to be in.

If she had to translate into Spanish to make her audience understand, then those audience should have no business transcribing English conversation. QA World would only get more terrible transcripts at this rate.

What pisses me off is how unapologetic they are when issues happen that was due to their fault. In their minds, they can never be wrong.

I did 130 minutes this week and had a completed 37 minute work expire while I was proofreading, I swear I still had 40 minutes left on the countdown. That's how I lost 7.something dollars.

Funny things happen on that platform. I once used my last release token to try and release a call. After I clicked on release, the token was deducted but the call wasn't released. I had to wait for 6 hours for the call to expire.

Another event happened as the call was approaching expiration. The timer reset back to the 6 hours and started counting down again.

I reported both events to the SCC and Arlen. All they said was that I should wait till it expires again. I had to force myself to work on the call. I couldn't waste 12 hrs of the day not working..

Hey guys. I'm at the bank now to get the Africard. I'm being told what is available is "International Low". They've exhausted the "international high".

They also said, the difference between the two is the amount of money that can be received on both. Low is 2million while high is 4million.

Should I go ahead and collect this?

Any bonus u earn this week will be paid during the next payment cycle. E.g; u earn $5 between Monday to Friday this week, u should expect the bonus during the next week payment cycle. I.e when u are expecting next week payment (which is two weeks from now).

And u are paid bonus based on the minutes with 5/4 ratings.

Bonuses are computed manually so they don't show on ur "current upcoming payment ". Ignore the message u might probably see on queue that you've earned this bonus or that bonus because it's not always correct. Just calculate the number of minutes with 4/5 to know the bonus u'll be expecting.

I should have earned the bonus during last week cycle of September 2 to September 8.

The payment for that cycle dropped this morning but no bonus was added to it. What was paid was the amount reflecting on my profile. No bonus was paid

Can you guys please explain how these bonuses work on QA World.

I transcribed over 200 minutes worth of call for last week time frame. The calls all had 5 and 4 ratings with only about a few with 3 ratings.

I'm not sure about the $5 bonus, but I'm sure I had over a 100 minutes transcription with 4 or 5 ratings, not consecutively though. In my transcribed calls of over 200 minutes, more than 100 minutes were 4 or 5 ratings. So at least, I should I have gotten the $2 bonus for that. Right?

The payment made to my account this morning, didn't reflect that I got any bonus at all.

Abeg, make una put mouth for this matter.

Sorry to bother you again..
I was kinda refreshing continually and i saw some calls on the queue.. There was a 2 minutes call at the bottom so i clicked on it and i was directed to where to transcribe the call.

But something strange happened. after hearing the audios, it automatically transcribed itself(all the audios i heard were being written out) rendering the labels(REP and CUSTOMER) where they are supposed to be. Is this a normal occurence for newbies?

PS...it is a Pen foster call.

Those are AI transcriptions already done by the system. It's left to you to read through the transcription, make corrections, subtractions and additions in order to bring it to standard. Some calls come with AI transcriptions, while others do not

I cant seems to find the icon were i'd click to link my card(though, i have not yet gotten my africard. Just curious). In my paypal dashboard

When i log in using "app.qa-world.com" it takes me to a place where i'd see ..."last week leaderboard......congratulations to top transcriber" at the right hand side and "have a question? Read the FAQ......view your profile" at the left hand side... Is this place my QA_world dashboard? I can't find any audio to transcribe here.

I will appreciate if someone can help me with answers to these questions..Thanks

There are no calls on the queue. This happens once in a while. Keep checking back. It will be updated as soon as there are calls to be transcribed

Your work is saved automatically if you use Chrome with a good internet connection. Even when you refresh, you should get your work back. That's why qa advises you to use that browser

I do use chrome too. Sometimes when I refresh the page my work is saved. But that one time I mistakenly refreshed. I lost everything

Bad day with qa over here. Picked my sweetest call today. On the 48th statement( which was two away from the last), MTN decided to mess it up. Connection was lost. Tried refreshing the page and it started all over( still confused because I saved it). I immediately switched to 9mobile to avoid further disappointments since I had about 15mins left and already knew what to transcribe.

6mins to the end, phone went off!!!( forgotten I had set it on auto off by that time)

How are you able to save it? I did a 12 mins call yesterday and when I tried to submit it, I mistakenly reloaded the page. I lost everything I did. I use a phone by the way

Hey guys, newbie here. I have a question please. I checked this morning and saw that my earnings up till yeaterday is no longer appearing as an "upcoming payment". So I guess that means, I have been paid, but there's no reflection of it in my PayPal account neither did I receive any email. Is this normal? When will the pay reflect on my PayPal account?

Bosses and veterans in this transcription job, what minimum and maximum duration of calls do you work on? I'm always on the look out for calls ranging from 2 to 4 minutes, but my earnings are low. I'm wary of long calls (6 mins and above) because I think they may be more difficult. Abeg, I need una opinion.

Lol.. You couldn't have said it any better man. If his outstanding result can get him a sponsor for GRE fee, the result would have gotten him a Job already.

Yh the portal for the assessment is kinda messed up. There's no way you can answer the question without opening the spreadsheet you downloaded. Anyways you get 3 warnings before you're disqualified so just try to exit it only once for that question. It's even so bad that a notification popped up on my pc when I was doing the test and all I did was close the notification so I could continue my test and I got another warning. So just try to stay on the page during the test. Don't even click outside the page!

Please, what kind of questions were asked on the assessment? Were they aptitude questions like Get Qualified's?
