Then Pursue a statement of result then. You can use that with WES.

IQAS acknowledgement email: July 22th
ECA report email received: Sept 10th

Education: Msc

CRS score: 461

Go there with two passports and a copy of your passport data page. contact inspector moshood 08034747802 (found his number on the other thread). Did mine yesterday in less than an hour, paid 4k outright (the poster said he does 3.5k, but I was in no spirit to bargain).

You will most likely receive your ECA in the next 7 days from date of school verification.

Mine came on day 19.

I want to send my documents to WES for evaluation, can I send only a transcript without Certificate or statement of result. Will it be evaluated?

Approach the school for a 'To whom it may concern' letter. But ma, if you graduated in 2016, certificate should be ready.

WES received response on verification from Unilag on Monday 11/9/2017. They still went ahead to state the evaluation will be due for completion on 29/9/2017. This is after receiving transcripts and certificates since mid August.
Question is, does it take that long for WES to complete ECA after receiving response to their verification from schools? That's like another 18days.

The processing time is 20 days after receipt of all documents/verification. Expect it a day or two before.

Good morning house, please i need to ask a question. My 2 certificates (Bsc and Msc) doesn't have my middle name in it. It only has my surname and first name. Pls note that my passport and other docs have my middle name in it. Can I submit it like that?

To claim 50 points for skill transferability factor with a Master's Degree, do I need to also evaluate my Bsc. Degree?

As it is stated on their website " Two or more post-secondary program credentials AND at least one of these credentials was issued on completion of a post-secondary program of three years or longer - 50 Poiints"

You can evaluate only your masters degree to attain the afforementioned points. But if both bsc and masters are from the same university, please evaluate both.

- I would like to ask if it is advisable for hubby to apply for Manitoba nomination now. The information I have is that they have not nominate for about a year now.

My CRS score when I checked the CRS tool ( assuming 8,7,7,7 LRSW ) is 458.
Hubby CRS - 406

Should I go on and start the process or wait for Manitoba Provincial nomination to begin as my hubby siblings are currently living there.

if your CRS can get to the above score (458), You dont need PNP to begin with. Just study hard and blast the exam.

if i may advise, start with your ECA asap. with the current trend, you'll be more than just fine.

Amen. I wrote my ielts yesterday and trust me, am really worried. I can't imagine writing ielts again cuz dt was my 2nd attempt and it's the listening dtz giving me headache. I really practiced d listening, even while at work. I practically abandoned everything to enable me practice d listening. I missed 2 questions in d heading part which is worrisome. I look up to God.

My mind drifted off during two questions 36/37. Asteriked it, finished the rest in style, then came back later to answer it based on what I thought I heard. Guess what??


I got a 9 in listening.

Thanks. I used barrons ielts plus scavenging through ieltsliz.com and ieltsbuddy.com . Theres a lot of useful resources to find there. For speaking, you can watch a host of videos on youtube too. Never stop practicing and precision is key.

If spouse makes it (has a good score) and gets an eca, thats additional points gotten. Up to thirty i think.

It depends on your university. Most likely, i think it will definitely be by email. Lemme stand back so oau alumni's can step in.

If she can just change that 6 in reading to 7 minimum she'll see wonders.
Let her Aim for 8777 in LSWR and she may never need her spouse eca and ielts (judging by current low crs cutoffs)

Why is this so? Don't Unilag charge separately? Why would u pay for only Masters and they populate and send ur B. Sc's? Without ur consent or anything.

Its the same fee to send all. if you attended unilag prior to msc, You have to fill in your undergraduate details when applying for transcripts since you'd most definitely have the same matric nos (except in some special cases)

The issue is when WES sees both transcripts they'll send a verification mail for the masters degree and a few days after receiving it, they'll do a uturn and request for a fresh Verification for the bsc.

Dear Family,
If youre in the process of evaluating only ur masters degree with WES and your bsc was gotten from the same university, please and please include your first degree in your application.

Save yourself from the stress of hustling for double verification response. Waste of time and energy

As for the mail, why not send them a fax with your query instead. Additionally, you can DM them on twitter or fill a feedback form on their site. they'll get back to you in due time. DM works best though (for enquiries)

My brother..UI still has not confirmed/verified the request sent by WES o. Spoke to WES and they said they have resent another request via email and also a letter and hope they respond on time this time. I just tire ooo...

Do i absolutely need to send it too? WES acknowledges receipt of documents from my school and my status reads "pending. Document is being evaluated. You do not require to do anything now". Not sure what that means.

Please send a copy of your certificate too. In most cases, the applicant is required to send copies of their certificates themselves.

I dislike to be a party pooper but if you're at the stage of requesting transcript from your alma mater, you might want to do all within your reach to have it sorted ASAP as the three non-academic unions of universities (SSANU, NASU and NAT) might be joining ASUU's strike come next week Wednesday. Outcome of a referendum from the three bodies is expected to be submitted on Wednesday, that will decide their course of action.

Hello friends, i used IQAS for qualifications assessment for i and my fiancee only to find out IQAS takes about 13 to 14 weeks( >3months) whereas WES takes 7 working days after reciept of docs to do finish an assessment from their website, this is really sad. Does anyone know what can be done to lower processing time? Does contacting them help for those who have used IQAS successfully.

WES is more than 7 days. calculated my report eta as 20 days after receiving verification, I dey den hand since june. dont dull.

Congrats to all ITA recipients. The ginger don dey do me like say make i don reach alagbon and hq come back but wes dey dull.
