HiredGames: Hello threadstone.....cool name by the way
Your reply above cut my attention and I'm here, still bleeding
I have someone with a profile similar to the young lady you advised.
Profile: 27 years, Married, M.sc while husband is 33, and also with an M.sc......
How will the husband not do ECA and IELTS and still remain a secondary applicant? Please shed more light. Hi, thanks .Both of you are not required to write ielts or do eca if only one person can garner enough points to secure an invitation. Even if the two of you evaluate your results, only one of you is going to be the Principal Applicant (PA) while having the ability to add a secondary applicant (by virture of marriage or common law) and dependents (birthed kids and adopted ones)as well. Your profile too should be 442 as the lady above (using the same ielts score of 8777) and at the moment, that is good enough. |

Medal007: Evening peeps After reading through the thread. I realised that canny is achievable. I am 28 years old woman married with a little boy, my hubby is 32. I have my MSc in science education while my hubby holds a BSc in life Science plus a PGDE we are both working with the Federal Civil service with over 3yrs work experience and a perfect NOC the matches our current work titles. After using the crs calc using myself as the primary applicant and assuming a score of 8777 for the both of us from Isles and picking for my hubby's educational qualification as having two degrees on the calc without a family in canny our score on the calc is 471. Now to my question 1. How real is the score from the crs tool compare to the EE score? 2. Hope my picking two degrees for my hubby is correct assuming we both verify our results? 3. Can I proceed to create a profile? NB no liquid cash for POF but there are some properties we can liquidate. Please kindly assist a sis 1. The crs tool is almost as the same score when you create your ee profile (provided all variables remain as is and entered correctly) 2. Yes but your husband will have to verify both pgde and bsc together. 3. Yes. Ideally the funds should be readily available over six months but you can have them anytime before u finally apply. In your property case, you may have convert it to funds (bonds, bills, cash in bank) or show a process of ongoing sale : citation needed before submitting and present docs to show where it came from 471 at the moment is a bit overkill. Me thinks you should get your eca and ielts first. Provided you score at least 8777 in LSWR, your scores should be 442 which should guarantee ita using the current trends. Money potentially saved: hubbys $233 cad (eca fee) + 68k(ielts fee) + transcript fee 1& 2 (if in different schools) + miscellanous |

Ennyluv: Good day house, pls I have a question and I will be glad if anyone can put me through. We are planning to apply for this Canadian express entry, I as the wife holds a bachelor degree in geography and planning but I have been working as a security officer for the past 7years, I'm 34years old. My husband Is a teacher but he has NCE, Bachelor of education and master of public administration but he's already 40years old. My question is, can I be the principal applicant considering age factor? But my fear is the fact that my working experience is different from my degree, though saw something like security when I checked NOC. Someone should pls put me through. Thanks Even though id like to refer you back to page one, lemme be nice here. using assumptions that the both of you evaluate your degrees and score at least LSWR 8777 in IELTS, your husband as the PA scores 415 (more points for education, but age has cut off that advantage) Your scores using you as PA is 408 (less points for education) at this juncture, it is safe to say your coming to canada will be through the PNP route as the scores from the last few rounds has been hovering around 430+. No one knows how soon it may crash again (it was 412 in April). find more info about PNP here https://www.nairaland.com/4180147/all-canadian-provincial-nominee-programs |

hiscules: no am just asking if the school will use their discretion to send both transcripts. Yes its same school In my own case, i requested for masters evaluation from wes, school sent both bsc and masters transcripts. Wes sends verification mail and after veryfying the masters cert and transcripts, they asked for a new verification for bsc transcript and all the calls mails faxes and tweets couldnt get them to change their mind, until i had to go back and sort out the verification process. Ended up losing like three freaking weeks on this back and forth issue, hence my advice above. Learn from my mistakes. |

hiscules: Guys, in evaluating HND with WES, is the school required to send transcripts for only HND or must the OND transcripts be included? If the school is where you did your ond, they most certainly will send both transcripts. It will be better for you to send in your ond certificate to wes as well as your hnd cert too before the transcripts gets there. May you share the reason why youre evaluating hnd alone? |

shygunXs: Thanks a lot.
I'm also thinking she should be the principal applicant because she'd get plenty marks from her age (28 next year; i'm 33 in January). Just that I have more experience than she does. She has 2 years, I have over 8 years.
Finally, do I need to do ECA if she's principal applicant? given that I have to fend for the family as her hubby, and have to work, I feel I would need to but for my school that is in Republic of Benin, im thinking the process to get WES/ECA would take forever. Im trying to avoid long thing. If its not necessary as a secondary applicant, I'd just shelve the ECA. Please, should you choose to make her the PA, try to make sure her work experience is three years Because the points she will be losing for experience is more than the points youre losing for age. Even if it involves going to her ppa to get additional reference letter, pls do. |

Please what is the advantage of Paying that extra 80USD for courier while paying for WES.
I paid a total of 322usd when I processed mine but my Friend is saying She has no much funds to pay as much as that.
Pls how necessary is that courier stuff so I can weigh a more convenient option for her.
Thank you. Dont fall for it. Even without the extra $80, i got my report delivered to my home address in 14 days and its been sitting comfy in my wardrobe as i made use of the one I downloaded from my account so no need to scan again. TLDR- Dont pay extra. |

I got it now. it should be "none/less than a year for me and wifey then. with that our crs simulation score hovers around 390 -395 (assuming we score and average of 8/7.5 in IELTS). from previous rounds of minimum point for ITA being 436, Pls do you people still think we should go ahead with this canada stuff (Evaluation and preparing for IELTS) hoping that the minimum point for ITA might come lower.
Any other route/option for us. Once again, thank you all for your response. Explore the pnp option. Go to page 0. It may take a bit longer than express entry but it works |

Your responses have been quite acidic and tends to be received in bad faith thereby negating your "supposedly good" intentions. Diplomacy is key. If you wish to pass an information across, do it with ease Lack of understanding of english when i don pass ielts finish. Omo i go tear singlet oo Boss13: Oh far from it. I’m neither angry nor offended. I’m just surprised. I won’t recommend or advise someone else what I won’t do.
I have been drawing people’s attention especially those who have not submitted to be clinical and avoid LVO. I don’t want that experience for them. It is a horrible experience and so far only few have admitted it here.
Don’t get caught up with the joyful news of PPR. The duration between when you submit till you get your PPR can be traumatic when your application is in LVO. This is a FACT.
Avoid it! |
