princepeter566:Are you part of 22million Nigerians who voted for subsidy removal, or are you part of the 14,000 who did not bite more than they can chew?
|
22million Nigerians voted for Tinubu, Atiku or Obi. They all promised, to continue with the plan of the outgoing Buhari administration to remove subsidy, which Buhari budgeted for in 2023 only till the end of June. Peter Obi went a step further to insist he will remove it on the 1st day. Unfortunately for him, it was Tinubu that won the mandate of the people as recently confessed by Peter Obi the defeated opponent who instead finished in 3rd place behind Atiku who is also know as Siddiq only in 1965 when he passed his WAEC, but affidavit signed in 1973 as defended by Dele na my boy. Tinubu was sworn into power on 29th May, 2023, and as part of his call to forge a national government for all Nigerians, decided to honour Peter Obi whom he defeated by removing subsidy on the 1st day and 1st executive decision. On the other hand, we had a candidate of the AAC named Omoyele Sowore, who as a lonely voice calling out in the wilderness, vowed not to remove oil subsidy. 14,000 Nigerians voted for Sowore. Yet the people who gave their mandate to Tinubu do not want him to fulfill his promise of subsidy removal. Does it mean 22million Nigerians are stupid, and only 14,000 have sense? Elections have consequences.

MissKudoswrite:Who did you vote for? Did you vote for Tinubu, Atiku, or Obi? Did you know the meaning of subsidy removal before you cast your vote for any of them? Will you make the same mistake of voting for any of the candidates who insist on subsidy removal, knowing fully well that you are part of the suffering masses? Have you finally learnt the meaning of "Elections have consequences"? Will you vote for Sowore in 2027, or you want Atiku or Obi to replace Tinubu so you can come out again to protest against their own subsidy removal as well? |
We all know. I will repeat again for those who hate the truth. Sowore vowed that he will not remove subsidy, but only 14,000 Nigerians voted for him. Tinubu, Atiku, and Obi, vowed to remove subsidy, with Obi going a step further to insist he will remove it on the 1st day, despite that the outgoing Buhari regime had budgeted for subsidy till end of June 2023. But 22million Nigerians voted for Tinubu, Atiku, and Obi. Tinubu won the mandate of the people as Obi mistakenly confirmed to the pain of his delusional supporters, despite aslo seeking the same mandate. Yet the people who gave their mandate to Tinubu do not want him to fulfill his promise of subsidy removal. Dose it mean 22million Nigerians are stupid, and only 14,000 have sense? Elections have consequences.
|
Sowore should always remember that only 14,000 Nigerians voted for his manifesto as a presidential candidate who promised not to remove subsidy. But 22million Nigerians voted for Tinubu, Atiku, and Obi who vowed that subsidy must go. Sowore should accept his electoral loss and move on to 2027, to see if more Nigerians would have finally learnt that elections have consequences. You cannot blame the winning candidate for implementing his own manifesto and not the manifesto of the loser. Very simple matter.

Freestar:Iskilu, no long story. Did you vote for Sowore or are you part of the 22million votes that agreed to subsidy removal? Elections have consequences. You cannot vote for subsidy removal and then expect it not to be removed as overwhelmingly supported by 22million voters. |
CriminalTinubu:Are you referring to the same opposition parties who also collected their own N160m SUV? Or the same ones who also received their own prayers sent to their inbox by the Senate President? Or are you referring to the same North that quickly removed Sen Abdul Ningi of PDP as their Northern caucus leader and replaced him with Sen Abdulaziz Yar'Adua of APC? Stop joking. |
Goodnewsforlife:Hahahahahahaha! Those guys have no shame in this life or the afterlife. They are the sons of sorrow, the daughters of discord, and the children of hate. |
Omoawoke:The matter pained them so much that no single vandalism occured and no single life was lost in the protest in Lagos. They had to resort to whipping up the propaganda that Tinubu is killing Northerners while sparing Yorubas. |
43Ronin:Beacause Tinubu who is the master of opposition politics is now in power. Without Tinubu, opposition has died as seen in the feeble protest without leadership or resilience. |
Akenzua01:You are in pains knowing that your Igbo agenda has failed. |
Ensure to check your savings account balance. |
There is nothing terrifying or ruthless about Tinubu. He is only determined to execute a total oil subsidy removal just as Obasanjo, Jonathan, and Buhari all tried to do but failed. Tinubu is only more determined than they are to succeed, knowing fully well that all of his main opponents in the Presidential election he won, also promised to remove oil subsidy. Only Sowore vowed not to remove oil subsidy, but only 14,000 Nigerians voted for him, compared to the 22million Nigerians that voted for Tinubu, Atiku, and Obi who promised to remove it immediately. 22million Nigerians got what they voted for because elections have consequences. Would the Nigerian masses now vote for Sowore in 2027, or will they still vote for candidates like Tinubu, Atiku, and Obi? Your guess, is as good as mine. |
GeneralPula:Hahahahahahaha! You no get joy, walaiiii. |
I no fit laugh Atiku abi na Sadiq. Sodiq ologbon! Let him now report both his campaign coordinator and himself to the same UN and ICC. Like I said, his son should have been flogged mercilessly when he showed up to an anti-subsidy removal protest when his own father campaigned to remove subsidy. |
Opposition leader doing his job in the opposition. |
haffaze777:Hahahahahahahaha! The same Igbos and Obidients who say they are not protesting, are the same people all over social media that are insisting that protest must hold. They are also the ones condemning anyone who is advocating that the protest should be called off. |
WikeTheDrunk:Like he said, You go cry tire eeeeeee. |
chiagozien:Igbo trying so hard to have anarchy. What joy you must feel. Na same una no wan protest, but na you go still say protest must hold. Then na you go begin stage2 of the propaganda, that Yoruba president is killing Northerners, and the Northerners must not take it. All of these because a Yoruba Muslim defeated the Igbo candidate to become President that was elected to hold the people's mandate? |
chiagozien:Igbo on the beat. Agenda must agend. |
atiku4President:But he has always supported subsidy removal as the mouthpiece of the Jonathan regime when same policy was implemented. So why should anyone be surprised he still supports same subsidy removal today? Is steadfastness to a policy or conviction what makes him an educated illiterate? It would seem many like you only support a policy depending on your loyalty to the party advocating for it. You support Atiku for President, yet you are ignorant that Atiku supports and campaigned on the need for subsidy removal. Very typical. |
Guestlander:It has become very typical of Nigerians. |
Iconic because he is not counted among those who have lost their lives protesting in Nigeria without any one to celebrate them thereafter? How tragic! Some kind-hearted people offered him a million naira and a scholarship.Nigerian philanthropists are always willing to bask in the publicity. Many like him are roaming the streets in Nigeria, but would only get their chance of receiving such offers, when they also learn to do what Nigerians love to see. |
yommen:This is the problem the Igbos have. The realization that outside their ancestral 5plots of land, there are bigger and greater civilizations within the same country. So being territorial and ethnic supremacists, they try to dominate outside of their region, and become resentful when they do not have their way. |
MadamVanessa:We are learning to be like you lots. We would also stop betraying our own brother or political ally that is in power, like the rest of Nigeria have mastered. |
LagosPrince:You will not join protest but na una dey condemn anyone who is against the protest, and urging that the protest must hold. How can those who vowed not to protest, be the same ones all over social media and insisting it must hold? That deception is what is paining the North. They only have themselves to blame. |
IBB Collect Shonekan Collect Abacha Collect Obasanjo Collect Yar'Adua Collect Jonathan Collect and was even buried alive Buhari Collect Tinubu Collect and was also buried alive
|
LagosPrince:All quiet on the Eastern front? That is the question the North are asking. Now that you are labelled traitors, you will understand what we Yorubas always tell you Igbos. You cannot betray when loyalty was never promised. |
LagosPrince:You are Igbo, and your antecedent and post on this topic is so typical and mirrors the ones on twitter. You anti-Yoruba tribal agenda is not unknown to many of us here as you all "talk" too much. Rinu has already secured the asylum she need from those willing to sacrifice their lives for the benefit of others. When the Lagos Government declared a curfew in the 2nd week of EndSARS protest, was Rinu still on the road defying the curfew? All the Nigerian celebrities that were showing up to the protests, were they found outside past the curfew time? If you refuse to use yourself, others are entitled to use you. |
LagosPrince:Another Igboman that is angry that a Yoruba Muslim man is his President, having defeated his Igbo clansman. Una no even smart for this una anti-Yoruba agenda. Una claim say you no dey protest, but na una dey give advice on what should be done or not done. |
This one is very Igbo and Obidient. It is not hard to detect their typical anti-Yoruba/anti-Tinubu propaganda.

cowards. Ndigbo since we now have one mind let's agree to leave Nigeria for yoruba who hate us to have it with their hausa Lords. This should be d next stage.
