If the activities of IPOB or Nnamdi Kanu is endangering Igbos in other part of Nigeria, then it means Igbos are in the wrong country. Whst it means is that Igbos should have their own independent country

Do you think that the activities of IPOB is endangering Igbos in Cotonue?
Is Kanu and IPOB acting belligerently towards the people of Coutonou as to merit their fury?

Has Kanu Threatened to behead the President of Benin Republic?

Has he called the Coutonou people slaves, cowards and zoo people, and the country a zoo where nothing deserves to remain alive? Or has he lied that their president is a paedophile who was raping his wife before he married her at a false age of 13yrs?

Has he commanded that if a valid court in Benin Republic orders his lawful arrest for breaching bail conditions that are expressly obvious to even the blind, that his supporters who are under oath should ensure to burn the country down?

Stop making useless analogies. I have been advising IPOB apologists on this simple common sense.

I don't know why people like you just love to stick your head in the sand, rather than admit that IPOB and it's leader Kanu were undeserving of the priviledges of a sane and civilised society.

FeloniousFelon:
Rubbish.

Biafra as an independent nation will do all in her might to support separatist movements within Nigeria.
Where will the might come from? From which resources will a baby nation struggling to survive and stay afloat the quicksand, render support to well endowed regions of Nigeria?
Politics › Re: Ifeanyi Ubah Meets With Victor Umeh, APGA Caucus (Photos) by Throwback:
Ifeanyi Ubah must be an Afonja for daring to contest in the November elections that the hiding supreme leader of IPOB has declared null and void.

Let Kanu summon the courage to come out of hiding, he will surely deal with pigs and idiots like Ubah who he described as still believing in Nigeria.

Ofe Nsala day must hold ooo, Mama Nkechi vegetable market must sell.
Politics › Re: Independent Biafra Will Not Be A Viable Country - Stratfor Report by Throwback:
The only thing Biafra can hope to survive on is Tourism and Exports.

-Nothing of interest to attract tourists to SE.
-The business mindset is already fixated on imports, but with Biafra no Nigerian market to patronize such imports again, and no access to the sea to even enable such importation.

Biafra will only survive, in reality, at the mercy of Nigeria.
Politics › Re: Nigerian Army Declares Victory Over IPOB by Throwback: 9:40am On Sep 23, 2017
IPOB was certainly a menace that created fear in the people. That menace and false government have since been neutralized.

The legitimate government of the SouthEast states can now function again.

Kanu tried to usurp the democratic and constitutional leadership of the SouthEast, but Buhari would have none of that.

shukuokukobambi:
I never knew Eniola Aluko, the British female footballer, has a Nigerian senator as father. This is interesting.

From the posture, i believe it was a professional picture. Probably modelling for something but of course the father's opponents will milk it for all it's worth. It's called politics and it's done all over the world e.g Trump's wife, Melania and her own racy photos
She has a Senator dad ooo. The picture is obviously a professional shot, as you can even see the football beside her.

There is no expose here at all, as that was the intention of the picture itself - to get people to talk about her.

As for Ekiti residents caring about the daughter of Gbenga Aluko, I believe it will be far-fetched to even think political opponents in Ekiti will find the picture worthy of their time. He already has a political past that can both be an asset or a source of ridicule depending on his performance as a Senator.

Scott514:
Go and tell that to the British media.
The British media where such pictures is not even notable news anymore, and every celebrity wants to have such pictures taken to create aimless publicity?

Did she not get the attention she wanted with that picture with the football?

Or is it the British media that will vote for a popular son of the soil in rural Ekiti?
Politics › Re: REVEALED: EKITI Guber Aspirant Daughter Nude Pictures Trend British Media. by Throwback: 11:10pm On Sep 22, 2017
Eniola Aluko is the sister to ex SuperEagles player, Sone Aluko.

The man in the picture who is their father, is Senator Gbenga Aluko who represented Ekiti State as a 36yr old in the senate from 1999 to 2003 on the ticket of PDP.

His own father is the late Economist who worked for the Abacha regime, Prof. Sam Aluko, who was the Chairman of the National Economic Intelligence Committee of the Abacha government.

That professionally taken nude picture is nothing to cause alarm if Senator Aluko wants to contest the governorship of the state where he already has political experience and clout, and a notable family name.

Soyinka just wants more insults from Biafrats because the ungrateful pigs of the East whose leaders are weak cowards, hates nothing more than a Yoruba man, even if the Yoruba man speaks in support of their cause. They're too blinded and brainwashed with tribal and religious hatred. The hatred is rooted in envy and jealousy.

Is it that the SE was not previously notified that the military will be carrying out a series of exercises in that region to serve as deterrent to criminal and terrorist elements, and serve as a drill to measure the responsiveness of the military if situation calls for their input?

Is the SE not part of Nigeria?

So what is the reason for the fear by law abiding and patriotic citizens?

It was because Dasuki wronged Buhari in the past.

As for Tafa Balogun, it was because he fell out with Obasanjo.
So Ibori must have wronged Jonathan then, since Yar Adua gave him protection, but he fled Nigeria when Jonathan his fellow Niger Delta brother began hounding him for being a member of the Yar Adua cabal that wanted to deny Jonathan power.

In the end, the UK cared not for African sentiments, they simply applied their laws to re-convict a former convict.

Mrchippychappy:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Self-determination

Kai proper aboki man, see stupidity being exhibited at its finest. The international law (read here : http://www.un.org/en/sections/un-charter/chapter-i/index.html) states that every people or nation are ENTITLED to self determination (something the parasites would tag as secession), the international law is supreme in all ramifications to that of the laws of nations / countries, Nigeria is part of the international community / UN. So unless Nigeria decides to stupidly pull out of the UN, then I am afraid Nigeria has to adhere to these laws, so the Nigerian constitution cannot over ride the international law of self determination

Lesson one : served!

Lesson two: Cooking, look below

Secondly, look up the word referendum - there isn't a single definition of referendum

In the Nigerian context, we can rightly say that referendum doesn't apply to constitutional amendment, why? because we use the term "constitutional amendment" in Nigeria whenever we want to amend the constitution! You and I both know what a referendum means in the Nigerian context, a referendum also means the same to the Catalans and numerous nations. Me and you no dey go ansarudden or almajiri school, Eagle and vulture no be the same lol. The proposal defines the referendum, In Nigeria we all know what the term "national referendum" stands for

Oya come and go and ask your Almajiri "intellectuals" for more propaganda fire power lol
Are you therefore saying that UN does not know its own laws as regards the Kurdish self determination that is being led by the recognised Kurdish leadership unlike a rudderless IPOB who no one vested or reposed representative authority on?

What has happened to the much touted supremacy of international law when its custodians are the very same people posing an obstacle to the self determination of the Kurds?

When will UN sanction Spain and her courts for declaring the Catalonian self determination as ilegal? Are the Spanish courts unaware of how useless their national constitution is in comparison to international law as it concerns self determination?

Are you therefore saying every nation that wants to break into country villages are free to do so in Europe or Asia or Americas? Then why the resistance from all countries around the world in allowing every little village that feels it has the right to self determination from doing so?

Are you therefore saying the Deputy Senate President, who is Igbo and has already detailed the futility of IPOB's separatist ambitions and the irrelevance of international self determination law in applying to many cases around the world where national constitutions have made such illegal and futile, is speaking from a position of ignorance?

Now that you have educated your own ignorant self that a referendum is a tool in form of a vote used to adopt a new law like I have already spelt out before, what do you mean that we all know what "national referendum" means?

Is it to adopt the submission of the national conference of Obasanjo regime or that of the Jonathan regime?

Is it to remove states or create more states or return to regional governments?

Is it to abandon presidential democracy and return to parliamentary democracy?

What exactly is your own national referendum because I know I have heard demands for referendum on many national topics so many times before IPOB had access to a radio station?

If you say referendum does not equate to constitutional amendment in Nigeria, why then are you asking for referendum when your own objective is a vote for secession that is not allowed by the constitution? Or why are you defeating your own argument?

Shouldn't the national assembly be tasked by those who want secession, to amend the constitution to allow for secession?

I repeat, what is this aimless referendum you keep harping on when it is just a tool and not the objective?Unfortunately for you, it is a tool to an objective that is constitutionally non-existent.

I hope you can answer the straight questions I have posed without ambiguity.
Foreign Affairs › Re: UN, UK Distance Self From Kurdistan Referendum And Secession by Throwback: 10:18am On Sep 22, 2017
Mrchippychappy:
Common sense would let you know what a National referendum means and the purpose of such referendum. There are only two options now and I know the parasites hate to hear this but its either

A. RESTRUCTURING

or

B. NATIONAL REFERENDUM!

Chi'kena !
What is a national referendum?

It seems the IPOB idiocy has caught up with you. Stop shouting referendum like an illiterate who just learnt the word on radio Biafra.

Referendum is just a tool that can be used for determining an unlimited number of questions.

So I ask again, is the question you desire to be answered allowed by the constitution of the federal republic?

The only card the Nigerian government has to play now is to agree to a national dialogue on restructuring and strictly adhere to the agreements of that dialogue, failure to do so would result in an unstoppable call for referendum, it cannot be stopped my friend. One way or another, the FG are in a very dicey situation, one could even say its checkmate. Things are looking interesting, #squeakybumtime cool
Referendum on what exactly?

Referendum is just a tool, but what exactly is the purpose of this magical referendum you keep harping on?

Is it referendum to allow 3terms for the Governors and President?

Is it referendum to scrap the Senate and retain only the House of reps?

Is it referendum to change the national flag?

What is the purpose of your desired referendum and is that purpose allowed by the constitution?
Foreign Affairs › Re: UN, UK Distance Self From Kurdistan Referendum And Secession by Throwback: 9:57am On Sep 22, 2017
Mrchippychappy:
No one said anything about IPOB, this misconception that IPOB = Igbos is totally wrong. IPOB are just a minute fraction of the Igbos. The call for referendum in Nigeria is totally constitutional and if a region in Nigeria decides to have a referendum then NO one can stop them, Nigeria is not formidable, make no mistake!

A referendum would be a contingency plan in the event that the call for restructuring is disregarded by those parasitical elements in the Nation who bring little or nothing yet consume more than those who contribute the most!
So besides IPOB, which Igbos have been making any call for referendum?

State their names and their political position that is representative of the region in Nigeria that wants to employ referendum to achieve secession.

State how they intend to achieve this call in the National Assembly?

Show me where secession which is the intention of such referendum, written in the constitution of the federal republic.

Or is referendum an objective, and not just a tool to many objectives of which separation is just one of many?
Foreign Affairs › Re: UN, UK Distance Self From Kurdistan Referendum And Secession by Throwback: 9:42am On Sep 22, 2017
Mrchippychappy:

This argument doesn't make any sense, for every Kurdistan, there's a Kosovo, South Sudan etc, the list is endless so we can't assume that any call for referendum in Nigeria wouldn't get the support of the UN just because the UN refused to support the Kurdish referendum . Kurds probably don't have their game plan right and lets not forget Iraq and Turkey are two countries that don't want the Kurds to gain independence, the UN can't be seen as an organisation siding the Kurds against the Turkish government, the Turks play a very important role in world politics, most people don't know this but besides Israel the strongest army in the Middle east is the Turkish army, it is imperative that the UN keeps Turkey as an ally.

The kurds are going up against a very formidable country and quite frankly, the Kurdish referendum is coming at an ill timed moment. They should have done their home work better.
And Nigeria is not formidable and IPOB has a better game plan despite not being the constitutionally recognised political leadership of the Igbos?
