So you think you are smart, yet you have not a single World class hospital in your state by the way.

You guys like to point fingers at other kids when your diaper has not been changed in 57 years lol.

In a serious continent, or country, a movement like IPOB would never had seen the light of day because Oduduwa, Biafra, and Arewa would have emerged naturally right from independence if there were not selfish leaders who hijacked the government.

In a serious country, a President would have been impeached for leaving for 90+days without any notice as to why

In a serious nation, a President would not have disobeyed court orders releasing a civilian/civilians, nor show absolute disdain for his citizens being killed and shot like animals somewhere in the zoo.

In a serious nation, people would not be there supporting and voting for military thugs to come and be their President when they are wanting a democracy from the same military..

SO, in short, your problem is not IPOB my friend, but your own mind and that of those in the area of Niggers (NIGERIA)
That you call your fellow blacks Niggers doesn't make you any whiter to the Caucasians.

this people are a disgrace to the black race...
They are very confused on what it means to practise a democracy or what it entails to accomplish change in a democracy.

To even think they place their hopes on the UN and US who are the biggest propagators of democracy as the only form of government leadership, is truly amusing.
Yet they have built their agenda to depend on forcefully usurping the existing democratic government in the SouthEast region.

IPOB wants to finally get the UN and American recognition they have been craving - as a notorious anti-democratic terrorist organization.

What's the meaning of IPOB?
The meaning of IPOB is a delusional group that thinks itself the constitutionally recognised government of the SouthEast region.

Goodluck convincing the UN or US that you are a government of the SouthEast.

You must think referendum is an opinion poll conducted by a TV camera crew.

Hahahaha!

IPOB which is a mere pressure group wants to compare itself with recognised regional governments of Catalonia and Kurdish Iraq?

If you had said SouthEast region wants to conduct an illegal referendum like Catalonia, they would certainly have the respective state structures to do so.

What institutional structures does a pressure group have to conduct affairs that belong to a government?

Has IPOB already succeeded in replacing the constitutionally recognised democratic government of the SouthEast region?

IPOB is still a whisper which is becoming an irritable noise for now, when they control the government of the SouthEast, then we can claim they are making a demand. A demand which can be granted or denied at the center.

Here the Catalonia's regional leader Carles Puigdemont poses next to a pro-independence supporter with a Catalan flag. Which south east governor can do this? Vote for pro Biafra politician come 2019. A unified voice is more effective than the scattered rebellious groups
The mistake you even make is to think that the Catalonian followership stirred up support in their leadership. Rather, it is the leadership that championed this demand and carefully orientated their citizens over the years towards embracing this agenda.

In Scotland, after the political leadership got the opportunity to have a referendum, the followership rejected the move and majority voted No.

In Nigeria, Kanu was just making noise and craftily setting up his own people to be massacred in other regions as a reaction to his vile hate propaganda. Hoping to use such event to advertise his campaign to the rest of the world that Igbos are being massacred, so they require independence, was Kanu's major game plan. He did not even care that the same SE region has an existing political leadership that was democratic and constitutional. He was simply living a megalomaniac's delusion.

It will never be well with Kanu up to his very last generation.

Exactly. We are yet to put our house in order.

There are many pro Spain unity Catalonians, but Catalonians had so much put their house in order, that these pro Spanish Catalonians are not wielding much power or influence in Catalonia .

They had ensured that the pro independence Catalonians are in positions of authority.

The reverse is what we have in Igboland , and until we correct that , we would never be ready to truly push our self determination agenda.
Goodmorning Sir!

So you finally woke up to the reality that IPOB firstly needed to influence regional politics, so that the constitutional regional leadership would be the ones to demand for whatever they desire at the center, whether constitutional or not.

When the recognised SouthEast leadership are ready to table their demands, only then would we have a mature debate as to the constitutionality, or political compromise to allow a referendum for the people of the SouthEast and other Igbo speaking sections to decide in agreement with their leaders or otherwise.
Education › Re: List Of First Nigerian Professors In Various Disciplines by Throwback:
Can some people ever catch up to greatness?

Omoluabi no be anybody school mate.

First Nigerian Professor of public health ~ Prof. Oladele Ajose (Lagos state).
Above is the very first professor of anything in Nigeria. A medical doctor by profession.

He was the most senior African on the academic board of University of Ibadan. When it was time for the British to hand over UI to Nigerians, the Igbo dominated NCNC ensured an Igbo Professor Kenneth Dike who was away on sabbatical in the USA was called back to become the vice-principal ahead of his senior Prof Ajose who was more qualified, physically present and interested in the position.

When it was time to also name the Principal, Kenneth Dike was equally chosen ahead of Prof Ajose

It is noteworthy that Dr Akanu Ibiam who was also Igbo, was the Chairman of the University Council.

Prof Kenneth Dike would go ahead to recruit Nigerians into UI, but out of the 108 newly hired, only 3 were Yorubas, and the remaining 105 were from Dike's and Akanu Ibiam's Eastern region.

Prof Ajose resigned and moved to the new Western region established OAU to become its pioneer VC, since the federal government posts was only merited by the Igbos who had partnered with the educationally disadvantaged North. Yet this same Igbos till today continue to bemoan the Northernization policy of Ahmadu Bello, who was Northern Premier. As far as they were concerned, they secured their own Eastern region for Easterners only, they dominated the Federal positions, and the North should have also been made open to their greed.

So when you hear some people wailing about marginalization, they are only longing for a return to an era when merit is to appoint Igbo.

One is therefore at a loss as to why even those who lay claim to a sophisticated level of education from the south-east of Nigeria are counting on these same countries and the EU to help achieve in Nigeria what they are opposed to in Spain. It is confounding that Nigeria’s pro-separatist rabble does not see themselves as willingly handing their country over for re-colonization by their very demand for intervention from people who are loathe accepting what is being requested for their own selves.
Let IPOB continue to deceive themselves by comparing their aimless struggle to other well structured, yet illegal secession campaigns.

EU will come and give them referendum in Africa.

Politics › Re: President Independence Speech : A Hate Speech And A War Threat. by Throwback:

Stop talking nonsense, you Buhari. Talking about war when self determination groups are talking about referendum.

The UK uded referendum in 2014 for Scotland. The same UK used referendum last year to leave the EU.
Is there a law that says UK cannot leave a mere regional association?

Does US not routinely back out of accords?

Did Nigeria not recently withdrew its membership from some global associations?

As for Scotland, was it not the Scottish political leadership that won the right to have a referendum to exit the UK, which their own citizens rejected at the vote?

So why is a mere pressure group now turned terrorist organization, demanding for referendum?

Who are they and who do they lawfully and democratically represent according to our constitution?

If it took regional governments in Europe to be demanding for secession by referendum legally in Scotland, and illegally in Catalonia and Kurdish Iraq, what makes you think a mere pressure group is up to the task in Nigeria where the region under discussion has an existing recognised democratic and constitutional leadership and representation?

I always ask you this question hoping you can appreciate rational submissions, and for once accept that IPOB had no business with Nigeria, but with the regional leadership of SouthEast, who would then engage Nigeria politically at the national assembly (which is the channel even alluded to by Buhari in his broadcast tody) since there is no existing constitutional provision for secession.

That you and others like you, who are obviously educated and conversant with world politics, would refuse to own up to certain universal truths, is what truly amazes me. Do you think Kanu will just keep shouting "give me a date", and the country will hurriedly honour his unknown and unrecognised majesty with a referendum date as a birthday gift?

You keep on alluding to UN's right to self determination, but do not know how ambiguous that is.

Is that same UN blind to the Catalonian and Kurdish right to self determination? Hasn't that same UN heard about a certain Palestine whose right to their own country is resisted by an Isreal that did not exist as at 1940?
If that rule was as simple as you think it is, then every local government in Nigeria has the right to self determination.

Every Congressional district in the USA have the right to self determination, irrespective of their republic's constitution? Every of the 96 political departments of France have a right to self determination, irrespective of their republic's constitution?

Can the world or UN handle such a fractured world if their self determination rights law was so applicable with every family that wants to form its own country?

What right do you keep yapping about that your elected representatives have not deemed fit to request for?

A right that is not constitutional and that is equally berated by UN, US, EU, UK, France and Germany within their own sovereign territories and continent?

Mister man, shut up or pursue the constitutional change that you want using the globally recognised parliamentary channels.

I wish you best of luck securing political victory in the legislature.

There is no foreign government that is supporting IPOB. I have consulted all the intelligence agencies in Germany, France, US, UK, China and I have discovered that there is no foreign government that is supporting Biafra. If foreign governments are supporting them, you would have seen the change in their approach and strategies. They are just using that as propaganda to deceive people. It is a lie.
It seems Orji Kalu is not current, and has not heard about the Turkish "diplomat" who was conducting special business for the IPOB terrorists.

If Kanu had not proved stubborn but listened to advice and kept to the rules of the court, we won’t be where we are now.

But some Igbo intellectuals and leaders have argued that Kanu has the fundamental human rights to…

Which fundamental human rights? When a court of law had given an order? It was not Justice Nyako speaking, it was the law of Nigeria speaking. If Kanu was dissatisfied with that ruling, the day he came out, he should have approached the appellate court where five justices would decide on his case. He is destroying business in Igbo land. The GDP of this area is going down every day. The people who used to come to Aba to buy shoes, dresses and all kinds of products and materials are no longer coming. There is no government that will leave a section of his country to be mismanaged this way.

Don’t you think that the decision to proscribe IPOB and tag its members as terrorists will further aggravate the tension in the land?

I really don’t understand why someone should sew uniforms for a group of boys under his control and start to make statements which he is not expected to say claiming that he disagrees with the law of the land.
Disobedience to the law of the land itself can make you to be tagged as a terrorist because we have a law, the constitution.
Anyway, you cannot blame yourself for the havoc the stubborn boy invited into his community. He is a hero who used his community to set trap for Buhari who happily entered the trap but the trap king ran away.

Even okada riders have erased the route to that community from their memory. A community where the king's irresponsible and uncultured son, has caused the previously cheering gullible villagers so much agony, they want the king dethroned and banished.

Firstly, Chidoka should have given thanks to President Buhari for creating the enabling environment that has now allowed him to campaign for the elections without fear of having IPOB disrupt his rally with violence, or ambush those who will go out to vote in defiance to the command of a usurper terrorist, on the now defunct Ofe Nsala day.
