If something goes wrong in management of a patient, they go for the doctor's head not the nurse
Doctors go through rigorous training, reading all the books in the world and are trained to know somethings about the other units in the health sector
Doctors spend 15hrs and more in a day on their feet while at work even at the detriment of their health and u see them collapsing at work
But yet every body wants more money but dont want the work

This is one of the problems we have in marriages, These days intending wise couples has to discuss religion, finance, how many children etc. These issues are not meant to be discussed in marriage but before even thinking of wedding.

If this info is correct, the candidates will comprise of recommended replacement list from NSCDC, Fire, prison etc and also list of those that applied for NIS recruitment since last year ( how ever this list is based on vacancies in NIS). They want to carry out this recruitment the way military does theirs. I.e Many will apply and few are choosen without any yard stick. @jimikata

u see yourself,so because he is an ASC he must knw the date.Going tru his post,he has not ask anyone 4 money and he even avoided personally contact in the thread he created 'finally I got NSCDC job'.My contact is an SC(not only dat,he is @ HQR) yet he cannot authoritatively give a date.Lawal is very and truly controversial,e own don too much,frm the very beginning.

Oga from your write up, you are already an ASP, abi no be so? So I believe you are in a better position to tell us what is really going on in NSCDC. So we need when they will release the list from you ASAP. And If you tell us a lie, and that date comes and go, it means Lawalgreen is right.

We have been abused by the bastardized system created by the very people majority of youths are defending everyday for whatever reason best known to them. Everything is wrong about Nigeria health system. Private hospitals are many folds more efficient and service delivery oriented compare to moribund political tool government hospitals.

Had Patrick Sawyer was taken to a public hospital when he arrived Nigeria, Ebola would have become 10 per 1kobo.

I am not arguing about their service because all of them are money oriented, also majority of them have poor quality service delivery especially in terms of efficiency because majority of the workers are quacks and therefore there is no room for efficiency and competition. Any private hospital that have professional nurses, pharmacist, etc will do better than a govt. own hospital but in Nigeria we have a very very very few of them like 1%.

You suppose to post; Go to a private hospital in Nigeria. If really you that is sending one on an errand have been to one, you will find out that the only professional there is the Dr, also most of them are sole proprietors, they employ cheap labour which include: quack nurses, quack pharmacist, quack....So therefore the Dr may end up doing everything and it might lead to burn-out to the expense of the patient. That is one of the reason I personally can't go to a private when sick unless govt. owned hospitals is closed. There is no division of labour there because we have only one professional.

Who told you this? pls be informed from today: Nigerian trained Drs are not shining beacons in USA and Europe, 99.9% of them can't pass board exams, they end up either as nurses i.e going to nursing school or they will start medical school all over again. The only profession that you will post here that are shining beacons in U.S and Europe and I may agree with you are Nigerian Nurses.
