PoliticsRe: America Wants To Send $720m Foreign Aid To Nigeria In 2015 by thunderrider: 5:34pm On Aug 21, 2014
rickkid: Surprised you think this is good news. What this basically means is that this is their 2015 budget for interference in Nigeria. Can you honestly say that you know WHAT that money is to be used for? Of course they'll say it's for HIV, or Ebola or one smokescreen or the other. The reality is that this is their budget for a) Bribing Nigerian govt officials so that American interests receive contracts and concessions b) Funding and arming the clandestine militias which we know for a fact they maintain in the West African sub-region c) Funding of subversive elements and 5th columnists masquerading as political parties, NGOs, 'activists' and media, all of which are serving their interests (which are incongruous with ours).
It's time we understand that these guys are not our friends.
You too dey see am as a smoke screen

Onyegecha: Another solid fact is that an ordinary person cannot make much impact on the road to change. We must insist on our leaders being the right kind of persons and on creating a system that will not allow people to do whatever they like in positions of authority.

Asking the individual to change the society is just futile. What meaningful impact can he make when there is no bite in the laws of the land?
Ation is all what we need

we cannot keep doing things thesame way and expect a different result

we can start small

lets thinking outside the box

iluvnaija: An American doctor says, "Medicine in my country is so advanced that we can take a kidney out of one man, put it in another and have him looking for work in six weeks!"

A British doctor says, "That is nothing, we can take a lung out of one person, put it in another and have him looking for work in four weeks!"

A Canadian doctor says, "In my country, medicine is so advanced that we can take half a heart out of one person, put it in another and have them both looking for work in two weeks."

A Nigerian doctor, not to be outdone, says, "You guys are way behind. We just took a man with no brain, made him President and now the whole country is looking for work!"
This too expensive a joke
