I uploaded my NECO result based on your comment even though it was clearly stated they want IELTS, I just got this confirmation mail from the school.

Please who has an idea on the flexible mode of payment for Essex Uni. Checked my offer letter and just saw deposit fee but didn’t see whether am to pay 50% after visa and all. Please I don’t mind getting info on their mode of payments. Thanks

Tho, I have a conditional offer from Bournemouth (to submit IELTS test) which I’m not ready to fulfill coz it was stated I don’t need IELTS.

Awwn Essex somebody lol. Is your application over four weeks? I believe they will respond soon cos I am also waiting.
But If your application is over 4weeks, I will advise you have a back up and as for if it is too late to apply for September intake it depends on your course. You can start checking tho. I wish you the very best.

Took about a week to finish all the 5 applications. Uploaded wrong statement, had to redo it at the centre. It wasn’t funny at all because we have extensive travel history and the documents were plenty. But it was for the best and thank God we even noticed the mistake.
Did biometrics on 27th April

Picked up 5th April
Approval was since 29th

Picked up same day

Hi I have never been to the UK so am not sure my advice will be the best. Fin tech should not be bad since it is a combination of finance and tech. I feel you should start working on your IT skills like python, R, SQL and the likes. You can also start to check for jobs in fintech and check for their requirements so you can start working on your skills to meet up. I wish you all the best.

I applied to the MSc Finance program at Northumbria University, and Sunderland. I planned going to Northumbria. Truth be told, I stuck to those to stay close to my cousin and her family as per jjc. I had Germany in mind till she convinced me to come to UK which I'm grateful for. We are only related and not too close. She and her hubby have good permanent jobs and say it's a family friendly area.i plan going with my wife and kids so a friendly area with job prospects will be great, issue here is, I would have preferred MSc accounting and finance as I have been an accountant for about 15 years and I feel it's broader. Pls, kindly help,
1) Am I missing out if I study for the Finance instead of Accounting and finance as d cost to stay close to someone I know?
I. E) will they have equal opportunities in the job market?
2)if so, pls kindly suggest good schools that don't exceed 16k, offer finance and accounting MSc, are located in nice places with good job prospects(I have used Google, but I wudnt know about job prospects and 'family friendly' aspects )
3)please, what skills, certifications, etc can I learn to help boost my cv.

Nothing is wrong with the school, it's a very good University. There are many Universities that people applied to and they will never mention their names on this platform.
Students like schools where they can pay 6 instalments and deposit of say £1,000 or 2,000 deposit.
