Ole has fairly rotated our frontliners. Has alternated between Bailly and Lindelof, infact Bailly was starting at some period this season.

The major person behind the "he's not rotating enough" is VDB because even Pogba at some point was getting benched and VDB was not playing.

The mainstays in our starting eleven this season has been Maguire, AWB, Shaw, Fred, Bruno and Rashford. Other spots has been fairly rotated.

Even Rashford has seen a lot of rotations.

I don't even know where this ole doesn't rotate comes from. Even McFred has seen lots of rotations this season.

May be they want Ole to turn to Arteta who doesn't know his first 11 and starts tinkering his formations every game to look like low budget Pep. grin

The preceeding sentence before that the "serious" line clarified that Roma ain't a quality side. It was the reason Scholes even complained in the first place. It was an integral issue in my posts as well. I pointed out that double DM against top sides is okay but against the weak teams, we ought to demolish them with one of McFred.

I agree with your point that Matic is the only one capable of playing the sole DM role very well in our team, and that his legs are gone. But what I don't understand is why Ole couldn't see that, or saw that but PROBABLY didn't feel it was worth addressing before the season begun. Well, let's hope he addresses that position before next season start.

Abeg make una leave scholes o. He might be a wonderful footballer, but being a manager is another kettle of fish. As per the latter, there is a reason why him and his other friend at Sky sport failed at football management.
There is having good coaching plan on paper and there is reality. The lofty plan is to have one DM , but the reality is that using one of McFred is suicidal. Ole knows this, that is why he persist with them to give the team some balance.

Even though I feel that the talk of McFred limiting our attacking potential is just a Myth conjured by "online coaches" , because the last time I checked, we don't usually lack creativity in most of our games and we are not playing Binary scorelines every week. We score a lot of goals with those two in the team.

I don't see how he's blaming xhaka and chambers there. Those two are poor in their present position they're playing and that's one of the reasons why I'm blaming Arteta. I mean, how will you have Cedric yet you play slow man xhaka at left back?(who can't even attack sef). What attacking advantage is Chambers giving you at that Rb role? What is the reason for playing a false 9 when none of the attackers(or midfielders ystdy) aren't great goalscorers. Like his decision in games for the past 2 months or so is really head-scratching and such decisions is really making me doubtful about his long term success here.

Arteta behaving like low budget Pep. The guy just played a false now just for the sake of it and so as to appear tactical. The last time, I checked people who play false 9 positions are always goal scoring players . You can't just put anybody there just for the sake of it.

It's just like throwing Daniel James into a false 9 position when he has low IQ scoring ability. grin

Paying her off, doesnt mean Ronaldo is guilty of anything. It could just be a way of avoiding nagative attention to his person. A Star who represent diffirent brands and stand as a role model to young footballers doesnt need such nagative accusations around him whether or not the accusations are true.
I am sure thats why he paid her off, in a bid to end the unnessecery drama.

In my estimation, the lady is simply looking for where to selfishly get some cash.

Thank God you replied the guy

Paying people off is very common with rich and famous people. Most of the time, it is to avoid bad press and not because they are guilty.

Most of the mentioned Names won't make it to first Team. They should scout quality Teens that won't take years to join first Team.

How many of the ones that Man City signed will make it.

After all the years Guardiola has spent at City and with the myth of developing players that they claim Guardiola does, I wonder how many of those young players has made it to first team at City apart from Foden. Meanwhile, I can count four of them at United in that same time frame.

This is not true! Our scouts have been doing a great job. We have been snapping up promising talents between the ages of 16 to 18 for about 2 years. The likes of Garnacho, Mejia, Jurado and Fernandez were brought in from Atletico, Barca and Madrid. We also got from France, Kambwala a highly rated 16 years old CB from Sochaux for 4M and of course Hannibal for about 10M.

Top prospects from England such as Hugil and Charlie McNeill joined the academy not long ago. Therefore our scouts have not been sleeping. It's difficult for young players coming in from South America to adapt far away from home.

You even forgot to add Amad and Pellistri.

That guy that said our scouts have been sleeping just wants to yarn dust.

They are the type of fans that just like to react to everything whether it has sense or not.

When it comes to signing youngsters, infact Ed Woodward has signed more of them than actual first team players, yet that dunce said our scouts are sleeping .

Na you get time to reply am.

Those international fans that are to far away to attend matches in stadia are the people most of these clubs care about most in the order of customer service. They are the ones that bring in the most revenue via TV broadcast.

Without these international audience no one will give a fvck about the clubs because they won't be different from Wycombe FC , after all Wycombe too have local fans that fill their own stadiums too.

But would such parliament disagree on the basis of 6clubs bringing in that kind of finance into the economy and probability of the next 4 teams playing in UCL. Meaning half or more EPL teams may be playing in Europe next seasons. Then you consider the number of English players that would benefit

Parliament will still abstain from the whole thing when they see the full details of the deal. The reaction from Boris and his gang is still reactionary at best and was initially based on the media rhetoric of "ESL will kill football and English league" which is not true. It's just Skysports and other english media with vested interest in the UCL as per broadcasters who are just using the line to gas light people because of the introduction of a UCL competitor that could affect their market

But it’s a tricky situation, you know? Basically, Britain is no longer part of Europe, therefore they need to back UEFA for so many reasons. However, dont forget that it won’t make sense for them to screw the owners of the six clubs. If that happens, the investment community won’t be happy with the UK. You know what that means right? Especially considering the fact that COVID has humbled every economy.

Tricky situation, the government should not interfere, or better still, tell UEFA to negotiate.

@Bolded is what any sensible government will do. I'm sure that is what they plan to do underground. Abstain from the issue and let the clubs and FAs negotiate with themselves

I'm sure Boris just made a statement today just to appeal to the current emotions of his people. They probably won't do shit after that

It seems you think we are talking about just any politician. Here is the prime minister comment on the superleague Link https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/boris-johnson-european-super-league-b1833689.html%3famp. Their is no lobbying here on something that will destroy England top league.

He's the prime minister , so what?
He's no different from the other MPs. Politics is more complex that just the Prime minister or President having a final say on things, except they are not practicing democracy.
These guys are not dumb o. They have access to the best of lawyers in the world. They obviously didn't break any law, that is why even FIFA and UEFA haven't brought out anything to counter them, they are still consulting after over 24 hrs of announcement and they are yet to bring out any UEFA rule they broke. The only best thing UEFA president could do was rant in front of camera and issue threats without any legal standing.

The fact that these big guys are so confident about it shows that they probably found a loop hole to exploit. The next best thing UEFA can do is to eat the humble pie and renegotiate with these big boys.

Europe is not a banana republic, Any illegal declaration by any government or UEFA will be met with strong lawsuits by these big clubs and both clubs and UEFA probably knows that there will be no winner.

UEFA lost all the cards when they failed to implement FFP rules to the letter to curtail the big boys , now they can't deal with the monsters they made. Let them enjoy what they created

I doubt it.

As long as the british government has getting involved then its a different ball game. They are various laws they can enact that will strangle all the big teams in England. Infact they can deny working permit to all their players and even deny them from buying foreign players.

The British government also got involved in 1992 during the creation of EPL from the national league, at the end of the day, the big clubs had their way and the government ended up forcing the hand of the FA to let them be.

It's about lobbying bro. Infact, politicians are the easiest for big firms to lobby when the big firms want to have their way.
Also, do you guys think these clubs haven't budgeted for this? or you think they just woke up yesterday and started bringing up Super league idea without looking at the possibilities, both legal and political?
