consumingfire: Please can give you a concise tutorial how to order such phones on aliexpress. Please am counting on you. * Get a GTB and/or Access Bank account (if you don't have one yet). * Activate your ATM card(s) for online transaction (I think GTB is activated by default) * Download aliexpress app. * Open a aliexpress account. Sign in. Browse through for items you want to buy. If you are buying more than one item, it will be helpful to click 'add to cart' instead of 'buy now'. When checking out, use details of you ATM card to make payment. Just follow all instructions there. It's pretty easy. Points to note.... * The mentioned banks allow you to spend maximum of $100 per month. * You can fund your wallet in the app with more than $100 by using different ATM cards. * GTB exchange rate is N320 (I heard it's N315 now but I haven't confirmed) per dollar while Access charges N325 per dollar. Finally go through this thread, cool down and read carefully and you will get most of you questions answered https://www.nairaland.com/3092803/xiaomi-thread |

Griffon: Go through my post again and stop yarning anyhow.
I would have any fella from Juve, Roma or Napoli because there's a gulf difference in their style of play compared to the other teams in Italy.
This is not to mention that they are playing in Europe, thereby, exposing their players to tougher challenges. This is something you cant say about Torino and Belotti.
I don't care how you put it, just know it that the current struggling state of Italian football can be traced back to calciopoli - the 2006 scandal. There is no other way to put it. You directly linked the Serie A slow pace to the 2006 scandal. That's very wrong and you know it. From time immemorial we know Serie A as a highly tactical and slow paced league. Even before 2006. As a matter of fact, in the period starting from 2006 till date, Italian teams made 3 Champions League final, winning 2. Their slow paced footie have not hindered them conquering Europe. Why should the pace of a league determine the career of a young energetic player who has all the qualities of a number 9? Using Ciro Immobile as an example to show that Belotti will struggle outside Italy is flawed that's why I mentioned Luca Toni. Interestingly you skipped that part. If Dybala playing for Juve is the reason why he can succeed outside Italy, was Zlatan playing for either Juve, Roma or Napoli when he left for Barca? Didn't he succeed outside Italy? |

hensben: Was Luca Toni really that great outside seria A/Italy Bundesliga top scorer (24) in his first season. Overall in his first season 39 goals and 12 assists in 46 matches for someone coming from a 'slow tempo' league, a league where Ciro spelled out his surname is definitely GREAT. Was Zlatan ever great outside/post Serie A? Someone here mentioned Dybala as a perfect buy for Chelsea. Remind me again where he plays? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by timbros(m): 2:59pm On Feb 18, 2017 |
Griffon: Well, if you must know, Italian football is on the decline, and one would be shopping there at his own risk.
After the scandal of 2006, when it was proved that some teams were involved in match-fixing, foreign investors ditched the league, leaving Italians to manage their league. That was when it all started going downhill.
Good players had to move to leagues where the money is, leaving the quality of football in Italy to decline significantly. So in order to stay competitive in Europe, Italians switched to more defensive football and enforced the famous Catenaccio. Reason Italian football seems to look slow and tactical.
The players who currently seem to be making waves there, are the ones who're benefitting from the setup; slow tempo and tactical footie. Acquiring them can be a risk because you cant really tell if they'll thrive where the tempo is fast and where individual technique is placed above collective tactical setup.
We saw that with Ciro until he joined Dortmund and spelt out his surname, Immobile. I can only hope that isn't the case with this Belotti guy.
If he were to be with Juventus, Roma or even Napoli, sides who tend to move the ball quicker in Italy, I might consider signing him, but Torino? Nah nah baby. Are you saying that Serie A only became 'slow and tactical' after the 2006 scandal? ? ? Don't forget that for every Ciro Immobile there is a Luca Toni. |

donjazet: You're aware that in awarding the European golden shoe, there is a metric done via UEFA coefficients. While the top leagues are divided by 2. The French league is regarded as a weaker league and their coefficient is 1.5. This was why Zlatan couldn't win the golden shoe. Hazard wasn't bought for his goal scoring , it was more of his play making and creativity. How many strikers from the French league apart from Drogba have made their name elsewhere or gone on to be very successful ? So because of UEFA coefficient one cannot buy a proven goal scorer from a 'weaker league'? Why did you 'apart' Drogba in your question? Isn't he from that same 'weaker league'? Benzema and Thierry Henry made name elsewhere too. |

donjazet: Are you trying to compare the French league to the EPL? Drogba bossed Ligue 1 and still succeeded in EPL. Hazard bossed Ligue 1 and still succeeded in EPL. Ruud Van Nistlerooy bossed Dutch League and did the same in EPL. Suarez bossed Dutch League and did the same in EPL. Why can't Lacazzette replicate his Ligue 1 form in EPL? |

hensben: because the temple of the game has change couple with the pressure of big club and league he will be tag with. During Zola's days at Chelsea players were not that subjected to pressure so he had all the time to adapt and became a legend in the club.
Well, I never can tell, just my opinion. You still haven't given a reason why you are so sure Belotti won't succeed in England. Are you saying that no players today deal with 'big club pressures' successfully? |

Hector Cuper: the specialist in losing finals...
1997 he took Real Mallorca to Copa Del Rey final, losing to Barcelona.
1999 he took Real Mallorca to UEFA Cup Winners Cup final and lost to Lazio.
2000 he took Valencia to UEFA Champions League final, losing to Real Madrid.
2001 he took Valencia to UEFA Champions League final again, lost to Bayern Munich.
***2002 his Inter Milan team lost 4-2 to Lazio in the final Serie A match of the season, handing the Scudetto to Juventus. A win would have won Inter Milan their first Scudetto since 1989***
2009 he took Aris Thessaloniki to the Greek Football Cup final but lost to Panathinaikos.
2017 he took Egypt to the AFCON final only to lose to Cameroon.
Abeg who you offend, Mr Cuper?
