I got my City selection on point. Haaland, Alvarez and Foden. They played the DGW but unfortunately dem no haul the way I expect.

As for CB, there's Badiashile, Colwill, Disasi, Chaloba. A coach with good system will get the best out of these four. Colwill and Badiashile mostly have shown good quality here while Disasi and Chaloba won't be bad as sub (this is me neglecting Dr Fofana)

Even though I know a good coach might get the best out of the attackers but what Chelsea needs now is a very good EXPERIENCED attacker and a very Good CF to lift this team up.
The likes of Mudryk, Madueke, Jackson and co po lack top flight experience and it's showing, if they don't sit up as possible wing deputy, then they need to be sold cos dem no deh show consistency

Midfield is already sorted so no need even talking about Midfield in terms of balance.

In summary, getting 2 quality CF (one Standard and one who can come from bench), and a quality LW/RW (a Neto kinda player without injury) will make this team balanced.

But you know that when we talk of defenders, full backs are part of it. In today's setup, full backs play a major role in a team's attack, although they are defenders.

In a club like Chelsea where our first choice full backs are part time doctors, don't you think replacing/upgrading them should be a priority?

Adingra and Haller didn't play the first game we won against them in the group stage but we saw both of their contributions with 2 assists and a goal when we camped deep in our own half to defend our one goal lead. Nwabali even saved us from total humiliation while ekong our player of the tournament failed to mark kessie and Haller tightly when we were under pressure. If either of Jackson or sterling were sensible before the opener we should have been at least 2 nil up before then setting up to defend for our lives.
I don't know which one is better cause truly some other teams have successfully defended their ways to major tournaments especially us in our two ucl wins but as far as im concerned our attack is more of a problem than our defence at the moment, even disasi we have been blaming since put in a man of the match display.

Like I said, the final backfired terribly. It can happen to any team. We have seen ultra attacking teams fail completely in certain matches.

NB: Judging from today's market, 200m will get you at most 2-3 players depending on the quality and department.

If I can get ONLY 3 players with 200m, I'll get a CB and CF. The last spot will be either of LW/RB/LB.

Fofana, Chilwell, James all have terrible injury records. Silva is already semi retired. These are defensive positions that needs reinforcement critically. I have not even mentioned the goalkeeper department.

Our left and central side of attack currently needs upgrade.

So you see that our problem is not just attack.

And apart from just signing players, we need a coach that can actually upgrade the players we currently have. A different coach can come in and change these crop of players to monsters and drop the jaw of football world. These are young players that can be moulded.

Mourinho came into Chelsea in 2004 and suddenly Geremi became solid. Terry became a rock. Lampard already have the talent but he became much much more better. Joe Cole became a terrorist. Even soft Glenn Johnson deliver wenever he was called upon..... All these are players Mourinho met in Chelsea. So apart from his signings, he still improved the players he met in the club.

Chelsea issue is not just attack.

If you're given 200m and say you should buy either attackers(CF, Lw or RW) or defenders (either CB, RB or Lb).

Now you can buy a combination of attackers (like CF and Lw for example) or combination of defenders (like CB and Lb) but You must not use the money to buy combination of both (example you can't buy like CF/Rw and CB/Lb).

You must strictly buy either Defenders or Attackers using the 200m

I am just seeing this now. 15 mentions actually.

You cannot tell me NOT to combine my spending on both attackers and defenders because I have been advocating for balance from day 1. I will definitely spend on both departments because I have been saying we need improvement in both areas.

That question should be for the purely pro attack and/or pro defence individuals.

Looking at their teams, Liverpool seems likely to score more goals. So Salah is the go-to choice.

I use to have all three (Haaland, Salah and Son) in my team before Asian Cup and AFCON. I distributed the $ across my team. Now I'll be hard to bring both back in. Salah is my priority to come back in for now.

I’m really considering selling him. For 14.4pts he should be delivering steadily. Not once in 3 games or so.

Plus he doesn’t look as sharp as he used to be.

Still 50-50 tho. If he performs well versus Brentford, I’ll axe Toney instead.

He is just coming back from injury. Haaland EO is too high to risk not having him. Anytime her hauls, you will be badly affected because almost everyone has him. If he blanks, everyone will be affected too.

After BGW26, I'll look for a way to get Salah back in to my team. Haaland and Salah are very essential. Even Son sef.

We didn't dominate Wolves game. It is easier to win when you dominate than look for an unlikely win when you don't dominate. Chelsea have dominated games were they should have easily won but because the attack let us down,we ended up losing.
