I don't normally comment but your post scared me. You are supposed to lose your tire to a blowout once or twice in your lifetime, You must be doing something wrong. I don't want to judge you but you have to be careful and find out what is wrong. And by the way what is your definition of top speed.

Thanks My balance is intact. I bought airtime to check my balance because online bank interface was down. I was trying to login in by entering the OTP sent to my phone, despite the OTP being correct, I was denied access and barred after the third attempt. Seems there is a problem with there system, I think I will have to go to the bank to resolve the issue.

I have been trying to make a payment on ebay through paypal, using my Stanbic Master card, but the payment has been denied twice. It is not possible I have exceeded my limits and I have used the card before. Anybody experiencing this? and what is the way forward please?

Good morning everyone, I have a package from Netherlands through Nl post, It has arrived Nigeria and I tracked it on my shipping company site and was told that delivery was Unsuccessful. I then tracked on Nipost site and was also informed that delivery was unsuccessful. But I am very sure that the delivery was not even attempted because I used an organisation address and there is no way someone would not have been around during the delivery time. I think it is in the dugbe post office branch in Ibadan because I saw NGDUG on Nipost website, The question I have now is what do I need to take there and which evidence do I need to collect my package. What may be the world's oldest fragments of the Koran have been found by the University of Birmingham.
Radiocarbon dating found the manuscript to be at least 1,370 years old, making it among the earliest in existence.
The pages of the Muslim holy text had remained unrecognised in the university library for almost a century.
The British Library's expert on such manuscripts, Dr Muhammad Isa Waley, said this "exciting discovery" would make Muslims "rejoice".
The manuscript had been kept with a collection of other Middle Eastern books and documents, without being identified as one of the oldest fragments of the Koran in the world.
Oldest texts
When a PhD researcher looked more closely at these pages it was decided to carry out a radiocarbon dating test and the results were "startling".
The university's director of special collections, Susan Worrall, said researchers had not expected "in our wildest dreams" that it would be so old.
"Finding out we had one of the oldest fragments of the Koran in the whole world has been fantastically exciting."

The tests, carried out by the Oxford University Radiocarbon Accelerator Unit, showed that the fragments, written on sheep or goat skin, were among the very oldest surviving texts of the Koran.
These tests provide a range of dates, showing that, with a probability of more than 95%, the parchment was from between 568 and 645.
"They could well take us back to within a few years of the actual founding of Islam," said David Thomas, the university's professor of Christianity and Islam.
"According to Muslim tradition, the Prophet Muhammad received the revelations that form the Koran, the scripture of Islam, between the years 610 and 632, the year of his death."
Prof Thomas says the dating of the Birmingham folios would mean it was quite possible that the person who had written them would have been alive at the time of the Prophet Muhammad.
"The person who actually wrote it could well have known the Prophet Muhammad. He would have seen him probably, he would maybe have heard him preach. One of the happiest moments was when I got a new and better job. Though I was happy because of the job, but the joy on my wife's face which was unbridled, unrestrained and genuine gave me more happiness. I was like if someone can derive so much joy and be happy for my success (though it is actually our success), I have no choice but to love the person more. I am happy and grateful I had a wife to share that moment with.

Any newbie to the family section might erroneously be scared of getting married if antecedents about marriage in the family section is used as yardstick to judge marriage. But I assure singles out there that marriage to the right person is one of the best thing that can happen to anyone. Though my marriage is relatively young(less than two years) but getting married to my sweetheart is the best decision I have ever taken. I am incomplete whenever we are not together due to work or studies, and we have shared some wonderful moments together. This thread is for sharing those happy moments that only married couples can experience.

Labour leaders in Osun State on Monday suspended the strike action embarked upon by workers in the state over the non-payment of their salaries by the state government.

The Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress in the state, Mr. Jacob Adekomi, who announced to journalists that the strike had been suspended, said the decision was taken after the government and labour representatives had signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the issue.

The NLC chairman said workers agreed to suspend the strike which started on May 26 because the state government would begin payment of January and February 2015 salaries as from Monday (yesterday) while the remaining salaries would be paid with the bailout still being expected from the Federal Government.

A copy of the MoU made available to journalists showed that the Head of Service, Mr. Sunday Owoeye, led the permanent secretaries of the Ministries of Justice, Finance and Human Resources and Capacity Building/Public Service to sign the document.

The NLC chairman; Secretary, Rufus Adeyemi, Chairman, Joint Public Service Negotiating Council, Bayo Adejumo and Secretary JPSNC, Richard Oyegbami, signed the documents on behalf of the labour unions.

The MoU read, “Both parties, therefore, agreed to enter into this Memorandum of Understanding in anticipation of the bailout expected from the Federal Government on the issue of settlement of salary arrears and to show the state government’s commitment to the welfare of its workforce, having in mind the need to collect data towards the completion of the physical verification exercise of workers and retirees in the public service.

“The labour unions will suspend the ongoing strike action on the basis of the Memorandum of Understanding to allow all public service personnel audit and verification exercise as well as auditing of local government staff/primary school teachers and retires take place.”

The document stated that the screening exercise was not meant to witch-hunt or retrench any worker, adding that the exercise would enable the government to know the actual number of workers in the employment of the state.

The problem is when will people learn that human beings are different from animals and we have values which makes us a society. Two people cannot do whatever they like without recourse to what good for the greater society. Legalising homosexuality is just opening a can of worms. And this what happen when humans think they are not in need of God's law. Now if homosexuality is legal because it is between two consenting adult, why not legalise incent(for example BTW siblings), what about suicide and assisting someone to commit suicide, what about public nudity since I have the right to wear or not wear anything as the case may be, and to even think you are a Muslim, please @Yourmain, homosexuality is evil and there are no two ways about it. They need to be treated.

You are all right. I was captivated while reading their stories a few days ago. Both of them are guilty of crass immaturity, more so the wife. You are right and come to think of it from estimate they got about 160 million max, let assume about 20 people where involved in the operation, that's about 8 million each. That is not enough money for the risk involved. But wait a minute is there any risk in this type of robbery when they have the audacity to Rob opposite a police station, the time to even call the person that will pick them up. We need to demand action, The Nigeria police has to start making it more difficult for these robbers, if not the rate of this kind of robbery will increase. Have not seen any special planning or tactical acumen except that they were armed to the teeth. What happened to following them with an helicopter from air if you can't engage them on ground, maybe they will panic.
