Okay. So he doesn't have to quit that yet.

He needs to first walk in God's primary will, which is the local church. He can find a good one around him and then learn service there, how to serve others (Christians). Ministry is service and the best place to learn it first is in a good local church that put service first.

In fulfilling this primary purpose, he will have direction on the specifics of his ministry overtime. It shouldn't be what should be rushed into or advised by a stranger on a social platform. Ministry should evolve and grow from the local church.

I Think foursquare church should have a bible college that provide accommodation.theres a bible college in my state. that have a general sound biblical bible college training and they provide good acommodation.but they dont place you in a church after training cos its not done that way these days.they can attach you to a church for pastorial training at ur final year.when u are fully equiped after training you can now go to fulfil ur dynamic calling.of which ur friend ought to pray about first to know b4 going to bible college.God may call u to any of d 5 fold ministry.or u may be called to be a general overseer or to support an existing ministry.these things u ought first to know thru prayers.

Anyways, I think he knows the ministry God has called him into and you know, the road will seem clearer and brighter when you keep on the path of Light. I appreciate your contribution.

I don't think so sir. My friend has a business he is doing and well educated and by the grace of God, he could discern God's calling from hunger or a need for a job. He is self employed, and not looking for a job.

Most servants and men of God pervert the gifts of the Spirit given to them by adding their own fleshing desires and needs to the truth of the revelations given to them. Most of the deceit of gifts perversions happen with people that prophesy and I have seen many and if I and my duplicates were to be in that meeting, they will not get anything from us. The gift of tongues cannot be perverted you can either speak from the throne of God (utterance from God's Spirit) or speak from the kingdom of darkness (utterances from the marine, familiar, demonic spirit, etc) On the other hand, the gift of prophecy can be easily perverted when you mix it with money, items to be bought and other unnecessary things. There is no place in the scripture that a prophet or an apostle prophesied and asking you to drop money, fruits, goats, bags of cement, church bells, bags of rice before he/she gives you the full revelation. In fact, they even state the actual amount or figures of what they want from you... And the bad part, is when you don't have the means, they will ask other people in the meeting or gathering to contribute for you. This is not different from a sacrifice or ritual. I won't mention the names of churches involved in this, but you know yourselves.

Don't be deceived... If you have the gift of speaking in tongues and the interpretation as well, that means you have gifts equal to prophecy. So, you should stop envying your prophets, pastors or other men of God all in the name of prophecy. You should desire your own gifts too. The Holy Spirit of God will give you, He will allocate and apportion His gift(s) to you as He wills.

Just curious. For many Christians, tongues are mysteries. Many times when we speak in tongues we do not understand what we speak, and frankly, I do not think we should.

Apostle Paul mentions that our understanding is not fruitful when we speak in tongues. But there are many of our Pastors on TV who speak in tongues while praying for the congregation, as though, as it were, they communicate intelligibly.

I am also not entirely sure how Tongues and prophecy - which is meant to be interpreted, differs. I understand an example of prophecy to be those spoken and interpreted in many of our traditional churches, one of which I grew up - Cherubim and Seraphim.

So, for some of us knowledgeable in this, are we meant to grow to a point where we can understand our tongues?

It was not possible in my case o. At all and it wasn't funny. I even offered to convert but she said that I had to be born a witness.

This is not only an error in the body of Christ, it's a false doctrine and not scriptural. What is scriptural is a believer in Christ Jesus getting married to another believer in Christ Jesus... And not a member of the same denomination marrying.

This is very sad. I graduated from this school over a decade ago. It's very possible for the Junior School to be like that. I plan visiting my school again. It's really disappointing to see my school after so many years remaining like this. Totally sad and appalling � � �
