FamilyFamilies: Blessing Or Something Else? by tinard(op): 8:49am On Aug 29, 2006
Most of the time, we don't get along with our families, we often don't do business with them or lend them money. Sometimes we don't even talk to them but we still live with them, donate blood or kidney, help them in time of trouble.

Do we just put up with them because we have to or do we just love them and as is populary known "we hurt the ones we love".Is it just one member of your family that you don't get along with or all of them, share your thoughts.

Sometimes we have friends that we do all this for but we still don't regard them as family. Can a special friend take the place of families for ppl who maybe do not know their family or never get on with their family or has been excommunicated by their family?

Should we just ditch our family and seek solitude amongst the friends that are really true or do we have to stick with our family true tick and thin regardless of what they think of us or what we think of them or our relationship with them.

thanks guys didn't know about the one in lekki that's why i wanted to visit home later this year. Yeah it would be the size of old Tescos before they were all extended. If it's successful then maybe a restaurant will go in. The prices of goods will be very competitive and some of the goods sold will be from here like microwaves, mobile phones, computer accessories etc.

I'll visit and find out keep posting thanks.

Do You Think Opening A Big Size Supermarket Will Sell In Nigeria

I own few millons. I was thinking of starting a supermarket business in Nigeria. I don't mean a kiosk i mean a real supermarket like Tesco or 4 sake of American readers Walmart. My contact in Nigeria believes a cyber cafe would also be nice so he wants to do the two as his major is in computers. Thereby reducing the size of the supermarket. I also have reserves now expecially since Harrods amongst a few others are coming down to Nigeria-Calabar to be precise.

Since the consumers will be my fellow Nigerians with the first store to open in Lagos then with success hoping to move to Abeokuta then Abuja and so on, I decided to post these question and find out what you guys think. Please speak your mind. I really don't mind what you say even if you think the comment is stupid.

@ F.B.I.
For an intelligence department that was really poor no wonder these guys can't do anything good nowadays. You think you good qouting bible passages 4 me.

Reading the bible is one thing but understanding is another and i don't think your brain is good enough to interpret the bible intelligently. You wan talk religion i will preach to you u 4 leave church 4eva and neva return. Did you even know there books from the bible you've never read and i'm not even talking about the obvious ones like Ecclesiasticus, Wisdom,Tobiath, Judith, 1st and 2nd Maccabees and another one. There are other books of the library which have been taken away b4 any of us were born they can't be found now. Why do you think they were hidden away who do you think hid it? If you get any of those right yourself then maybe you actually use the brain GOD provided you afterall.

Talking about Jesus and his parables, his business was his mission. He wasn't making money from it. The business pastors are doing is in the interest of generating money. Have you ever heard of Shako Igbala these was the woman that created a village for people waiting for GOD because apparently she saw a vision that GOD was coming in 2000 and later 2001.

Wasn't it the same Jesus who said he himself does not know when he's coming again. Wasn't it the same Jesus that said there will be fake pastor at the end of days. Next thing you'll tell me is that you are a pastor yourself. Wonders shall never end. It's people like you that are fooled every single day. Abipastor Chris be man of GOD as well. All the miracles be real.Isn't he i'll let you ponder on what i told you.

Na wa o. You ppl are getting a free story but u still de complain. I can't see any of you guyz writing a story half as good. Even the simpsons sometimes has good and bad story lines but ppl still dey watch am no be so. Please make una write ur own story while we analyse it. The najarita story was meant to be the intelligent one this explains lines line a successful business man and a jambite but at the same time explaining how nigerians live i.e. an uneducated poor single mother living in a face me face u esatate with her only child.

This story however is inline with a girl who's possibly having a vision. And angels do have a freewill read your bibles well and you'll find out they have just a little less freewill than we have. Interaction between God and human has to be done through an angel as GOD's voice is too powerful for us. GOD sends the angels out frequently so sometimes incompetent angels such as the one in the story can be utilised which explains why he came as a child 4gets message and is incredibly stupid.

There's also no way you can analyse a story without reading the full story which is why I'm appealing to SEUN to please finish at least one of the stories before starting another one as you stated earlier. Also Seun as some of the nairalanders seem to be incredibly thick, explain the purpose of each story before you start because even the ones who wants to be critics are lipsrsealed

This story was compared to the simpsons coz of the comical nature of it whilst the najarita story was compred to a soap because of the serial nature of the story. It can be expanded to make at least two series if you can be bothered to FINISH THE DAMN STORY.

To all the haters, write your own stories , IF YOU DARE

Who are the idiots that voted for IBB. I had a feeling ppl are beginning to support the guy. I've met a couple of ppl over here as well that are ready to vote for him just coz of their dad's link with him or coz he writes them cheques. History will always repeat itself and until nigerians start using their brains rather than their dicks or pockets to think they'll start voting for a respectable candidate. Killing has already started in 2006. Normally we have to wait till the year of the election which means next years will be the most exiting yet.

Two governor aspirants are dead. Na wetin we go wake up to 2moro.Before Obasnjo took over I remember some dying in prison including one of the few trustworthy nigerians Chief Abiola. All we know was he died in prison and nothing was ever said again. Everyone thinks OBJ is a saint he didn't make Nigeria what it is. It was ppl like Otunba in Ogun State and other state governor and Okonjo-Iweala and as soon as she was on to him, she had to be taken out. I don't live in Nigeria, YES but i read the news everyday and I have ppl there and I visit regularly as well PLUS I know the history so please next year don't let the little change you'll get from IBB ruin the progress Nigeria is making. I'm sure arespctable candidate will reinstate Okonjo or at least someone like that.

Improvements in each state will also hopefully continue. What we need now is someone who will not borrow money from the world bank to pay off ppl who he's sacking. We are getting in debts and unemployment rate is rising and that is the economy now.

Here's the problem with us Nigerians even though we see it happen everyday we still are gullible enough to believe everything we are told. All churches are businesses. If you have an average amount of money and you go to church regularly you will be ordained as a deacon or deaconess. But if you are a celebrity as well, In order to attract more people to the church like some of you have already gone to visit to find out, you will be ordained as an evangelist. Have you ever asked why she wasn't ordained as a pastor?

I'll tell you why, being a deacon(ess) or evangelist all you have to do is preach which almost anyone can do and as she's an actress i'm sure it will even be easier for her. Not much is expected of you as either of those two. As a pastor your duty is a lot more and you have to go to pastor school and all that. Seriously naija don go different level. Just like you get chieftancy title in your hometown that you've never been in your life just because you are a celebrity you can now also get titles in what's meant to be the house of God. I SURE HOPE DADDY WILL COME SOON TO STOP ALL THESE PEOPLE WHO ARE MISLEADING PEOPLE AND HOPE ARE GULLIBLE PEOPLE IN NIGERIA WILL START USING THEIR BRAIN RATHER THAN RELYING ON PASTORS TO DO EVERYTHING FOR THEM.

Have you ever asked yourself why no religion is poor? Think about it even the new ones. Have ever seen a poor church, mosque, synagogue? Over here as many as there are ppl that go to catholic church on sundays and offer 1 penny, the catholic church is still the richest church in the world.

Seun i like the site. I just joined a few minutes ago and i've been glued to my seat. The story is good. You definitely got yourself a talent.Write a full story line and take it to the National Theatre. They could be impressed enough to make it a soap opera like everyday people or something. I don't live in Nigeria but the advise is from Omotola Jalade Ekehinde.

cool
