GreyLaw: A creeminal is leading your country. But I know you don't care.
We're not talking about Tinubu here. It's obi's failure to declare his foreign bank accounts that's the issue. He will be barred from contesting in 2027
SmartPolician: This whole thing is getting interesting. The UK that is supposed to prosecute Peter Obi for moving his earnings to offshore accounts didn't prosecute him but one yeye lawyer wants the CCB to indict and prosecute him.
Tinubu should accept the court invitation served on him ASAP so that the proceedings can start. We are all looking forward to that. If they are trying to distract Peter Obi with this Pandora thing, they had failed before they got started.
By Nigerian law every public office holder must declare his assets. This Peter Obi failed to do which makes him barred from contesting for political office
slimfit1: I'm a Yoruba man, I don't have any military experience but one thing I know, if you don't make use of your intelligence like DSS NIA you be attacking the wrong person then create unknown enemies. DSS you don't see them in the street, they are always with sophisticated weapons and lovely bulletproof cars that our police and military can't show off or protect themselves with and you get no intelligence gathering from them sadly. To avoid having Hague court cases, release this man Kanu so that our soldiers and police will stop dying unnecessarily. This is not Boko haram far different, and can be easily solved without anyone dying.
I want division Igbos can go on their own Yoruba to and Hausa. What is the point of a union where one will come put his people here for 4 or 8years another will do the same that is not a country. Yoruba one will do 8years fix the country and Hausa man will come dismantle everything and call it development. Let us do it just like the way British people do their one.
You must be in over your head if you think the FG will succumb to IPOB blackmail and release Kanu. The terrorist rots in jail until further notice. We have more than enough resources to win the war
Biko, just forgive and leave everything and move on. Can’t you see how catastrophic the economy is How do you expect a nursing mother to pay you back when she also has a baby to cater for
Why do some people on this forum ask dumb, stupid and tetarded questions? What kind of dumbass question is this? The correct answer to your question should be another question: Are you a retard?
Prophet jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, founder of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, Delta state, To Support Mohbad's Son And Wife, To Help Police In Investigating Mohbad's Death
Bullshit as usual. I only pity the idiots who listen to these charlatans
Very gullible group of people. The CDS is a ceremonial position with no operational command of troops. It only confers high prestige on the holder without any actual power. Nnamdi Azikiwe comes to mind
proeast: I don't blame those frustrated witchcraft skull miners mentioning Igbo, I actually blame Igbos on that thread that couldn't respond in equal measure.
The Taliban didn't mention any name but the fools that actually support a drug lord are there making a fool of themselves.
Spits!
You're right about the name thing but it's just that 99% of the time a Nigerian is caught with drugs outside of the country it's from a particular ethnic group. And We all know that group
The person who wrote that list did so for economic reasons. That was a time when a senior civil servant earned no more than N800 a month . I was very much alive in that year
Philgafauto: This is big lie! Wahington is one! D.C is district inside Washington.
You go update yourself. I am not your usual APC minion you can bamboozle with lies.
Moreover, washington's size has no correlation with the Abuja situation. Abuja is a big ass place. I have been there many times and a Minister and Governor can operate therein without their functions colliding. We have both democrats and republicans holding officer in Washington State without hassles. Pramiyal Jayapal of the progressive caucus of the US House of Reps represents the good people of Washington State. In total, 8 Democrats and 2 Republicans represent Washington in the US House of Representatives. So why cant the indigenes of Abuja enjoy the same rights since the Supreme Court is set to nullify their special status donated and enshrined in section 134 of the 1999 Constitution?
Trash. Washington DC is not a part of Washington state. I'm done with you and your ignorance. Bye
Philgafauto: I dont think distance has anything to do with this issue. And we both know Washington DC is located inside Washington State. Washington is one and not two, the size notwithstanding.
Likewise, FCT can have a minister while a Governor has and exercises executive powers donated by the constitution and the mandate of the electorates. This is not a difficult issue at all. It is just a constitutional consequence which will flow from the Supreme Court's judgment.
This is where you've exposed your ignorance of American geography. Washington state is on the Pacific northwest and is in no way associated with Washington DC the capital on the northeast. What is the connection between a state and the capital? My friend go and update your knowledge
Philgafauto: If the Supreme Court affirms, it does not disturb the Federal Government from appointing an FCT minister for specific areas in Abuja, like Maitama, Wuse and the 3 arms zone. The Governor's purview and mandate will cover the whole state (Abuja). Please research how washington has a mayor D.C and a Governor for the whole Washington state. Heck, even Lagos had a Governor while it was the Federal Capital. It is really not that difficult unless you want to make a caricature of the Supreme Court's judgment. This is constitutional law my brother.
Judicial precedents, especially Supreme Court constitutional precedents do have real life effects. This is no joke.
I expect the indigenes of Abuja to be preparing with their legal teams.
Oga you're research is highly flawed. Washington state is very different from Washington DC. The distance between the two is further than that of Nigeria and Ghana. So what analogy are you making?
I really wonder how anyone in their right mind can compare the president of a sovereign country with a technocrat head of an organization. You idiots need a brain reset and by the way, I totally dislike Bola Tinubu and had I been eligible to vote, I would have never cast my vote for him.
Austineva: Uzodimgba the supreme Court governor's, making, Zoo Court has always bn his evil tools that's why has bn licking Tinubu yansh in Abuja. the 1diOtic supreme Court mugu has bn fighting this Ugochinyere of a guy since day1 including attacking his house pre the zooelection using his thugs, ebube agụ, zoo security agencies Uzodimgba can never end well, we Biafrans will do him shege banza, it's just a matter of time
You can do no more than a dead dog. Biafra my arse
bong4: From what people are writing about the OP, you can see that he is someone comfortable with remaining in chains.
I am not a part of the obidient movement but I can't insult Peter Obi just cos he contested for president. In fact I think he would have been a good president. I totally dislike his supporters though
netricoin: The people of the FCT don't have the opportunity to vote for who they want to be their FCT minister, which is like a governor of a state, the only opportunity they have is to have a say on who should be the president of Nigeria, by giving that person a minimum of 25% of votes. One important questions to ask is: If the INEC chairman think that the people of the FCT votes is not important at all in the presidential election, then why did he allowed them to come out to vote in the day of the presidential election? If the reason why the people in the FCT votes is for the mandatory 25% in the FCT, then why was that part of the Constitution not implemented? By just looking at the PEPC judgement, one will wonder of what use or contribution was the votes from the FCT in the 2023 presidential election Once a court is compromise, they will look for loop holes to apply technicalities in favour of the ruling party. Had it been Peter obi was announced by INEC to have the highest votes but failed to get 25% of votes in the FCT, the PEPC will have used that against him, I am not surprised on how they controversial rule that a hard drugs case is a civilian case
