I am so so happy for you!!! Been rooting for you and even followed you so I would congratulate you . Just seeing this cos I have been off the forum. I wish you the best and God be with you. God bless Tolvin: Visa Alert!!!
God has said that the rest of the year is the best of the year for me! It has been a tumultuous journey but I dare say that God has been ever faithful. I bless Him for giving me the strength and the will to hold on, take crazy steps of faith, and now and I’m here. Phil. 1:6 & Eph. 3:20 & daily thanksgiving has been my routine since Oct 1st.
Submitted new POF to the University in order to meet a Visa Compliance Check condition due to the visa refusal received in Aug – Oct 27th
POF Accepted by the University – Oct 29th
CAS issued – Nov 2nd
Visa Application – Nov 5th
Biometrics – Nov 9th
NSF Mail – Nov 12th
CAS Used Update – Nov 17th
Paid Email – Nov 19th
Application moved to VAC – Nov 22nd
Collection Mail – Nov 22nd
Passport received with Vignette – Nov 23rd
I will never forget when I received the last refusal on the 10th of August. I was devastated, depressed, and pressed down. It seemed over for me at the time but God said He was just getting started with me. A number of friends I’d made during my biometrics in July at the time traveled to the UK and this made me sadder because I felt left behind. Few of them stood with me and kept monitoring my progress, just to ensure that I didn’t give up and I am glad I didn’t. I dare say that GOD CAME THROUGH FOR ME!
University of Strathclyde, Glasgow here I come in Jesus name (Amen)!!! |

Is he going for undergrad or Postgraduate? Does he have work experience? Each application is processed differently depending on an individual’s circumstances. Some basic requirements are across board thou. So Why don’t you first decide what course he wants to do, google the courses eg BSc geography Uk universities “. You will get a whole list of answers .you can check each requirement and contact the schools via email before applying if they will accept or not. This is a better strategy of getting correct answers. That’s what I’ll do if I were in your shoes. angelss813: Good evening my family Please my son's ** WAEC Results is 2008 please which Universities accept more than 10yrs for English. ** He wrote IELTS overall 6.5. Please advice me |

Hello, Where did you get this information from? Can you back it up with facts? I don’t think I have ever heard of it before .I have over 10years and I didn’t need to get any letter from my school. Rollitout: With WAEC over 10years, your son will have to provide a letter from his institution that his undergraduate studies was taught and examined in English language. |

Hello, You can send me an email. I applied and in the UK now. Glowing1: URGENT!! URGENT!! URGENT!!
Good morning everyone, I'm a single mom of a 9-month-old child, never been married. Gotten admitted and already paid my deposit. I intend going along with my baby. I have enough for our pof. My question now is, hope UKVI won't reject us, because I'm going for master's yet I have a baby, and it's just the both of us. I need to know if anyone here has gone through this before. Was the visa approved?
I await your response you'll so I can begin with my pof.
Thanks |

VISA ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!! Main applicant:Priority Submission: :07th of Sept Biometrics:17th of Sept Collection mail:04th of Oct Passport collected:05th of Oct Dependent-Standard Submission: 10th Sept Biometrics:17th Sept Collection mail:04th of Oct Passport collected:05th of Oct I really learnt a lot from this platform even with my extensive travel history,I am silent reader and It’s really good seeing everyone paying forward what they learnt along the way but I’ll like to mention a few things: * not everyone has the same exposure or knowledge about traveling so if you must comment make sure you are stating facts and not assumptions so you don’t mislead anyone. *please be kind, if you don’t have anything nice to say just scroll past like I do sometimes. * don’t take the people here for granted, if you want information ,at least come with something too and that means do some research!!! * we have almost 350 pages of people asking the same questions. Half of the answers can be found on www.gov.uk . I sometimes wonder how you want to cope in a postgraduate study if you cannot research simple questions. * Please drop the hustling mentality it doesn’t work anywhere. Stop looking for ways to beat the UK system and focus on why you paid so much to apply for study visa. I wish everyone the best of luck with everything, please put in the work by studying and researching in school. Be humble but keep your head high and be the best you can ever be! Let you light Shine!! God bless. |

Hello, Ask your school to update your CAS. They can update it from their side and not issue a new CAS. I would also attach the receipt for the payment if done in installments. ebonmic: Help ! Help!
House ,pls ,your help is needed.
The total instalment paid to Coventry, my school was £8000 but £4000 was stated on my cas .
I was able to enrol onto my course last week..if the money,£8000 wasn't acknowledged i won't have had access to enrol .
My fear now is,what proof do i show to the embassy that truly it was £8000 i paid as against the £4000 stated on my cas?
Do i print my enrolment details as it shows all my details that i have fully enrolled cos without the payment of £8000,won't have been able to complete my enrolment .
I already calculated the £8000 with the bank balance i would be submitting for my application. |

I was rooting for you, so sorry you had to pass through this. And I pray everything works out well for you in Jan. Tolvin: Thank you very much. I was really down when the rejection came in and I was almost getting depressed. But I had to move forward. I wasn't certain of the outcome from AR as I definitely knew that I couldn't hold on to the funds in my bank account indefinitely. Plus, I can't apply for AR anymore as it's already past 6weeks. That's why I decided to defer my admission to January entry instead. |

There will be 2 lists: red list and rest of the world list. They can’t possibly automatically move all countries from Amber list to red list. Every country will be re-evaluated. Josh121: Oga take time to read news and understand , when the amber list is scrap the will only be red and green list . Only 8 countries where moved to green list which will take effect on 4 October, now ask your self where will nigeria be when the amber list is scrap |

Ok that’s means it’s been tracked. You can reach out on the social media, they should have a customer service team there. Usually Twitter is a good medium to get a response from most companies letty05: We filled a form but no ref no was given. I tried this site using the a number we were given and it shows it had been logged as “missing “. Other than that, no response or means of communicating with them. We called their Manchester office no response |

Hello, All you can do now is wait for them to get back to you. Usually airlines don’t pay damages for perishable items but in the event that happens, log a strong complaint you never can tell they might compensate you. But for now sorry just wait for them to track your baggage down first, once located airlines usually try to send the bag( if left behind at departure) on the next available plane. Try to see if you can track if you were given a reference code : https://www.britishairways.com/en-gb/information/baggage-essentials/lost-and-damaged-baggageletty05: Hello house, pls I need help. Got into the uk yesterday but didn’t get two of my luggage’s from BA which they promised to send across. Up till now, no news from them and one of the luggage’s contain good while the other contains clothes. What can I do? They’re not taking calls and I fear that the food may spill or start getting bad. |

If you are traveling soon I will suggest you take the vaccine in the UK because you will be schooling and be there for a while. Also just in case you travel out of the UK for holiday while schooling then you are covered by the approved vaccine program and wouldn’t need to quarantine for 10days when you return. That’s what I would do. hustla: I read that part too
Africa was not listed when i checked the website myself
Does it mean that its better to take when you get there? Or you can take in Nigeria and self isolate in the UK.. Then take 2 and 8 day tests?
Kindly clarify
Thanks |

Please read the entire snapshot you sent. It says if vaccinated with approved vaccines and further down it listed the 3approved vaccines : from the UK,US and EU. Except you received you vaccine from these places you must take the covid test on days 2 & 8 and also quarantine. izyblaze: Not true. I’ve seen what I’m looking for, on the UK gov website. If you’re fully vaccinated, you do not need to quarantine, and you don’t have to do the day 8 test. |

Hi, I think it counts towards the 20hrs irrespective of the location of the employer. But apart from that I think the time difference might be tasking. I did it before and it could be difficult. Thank you for asking this question and awareness. ccurrie: Thanks so much.
So if i am in the UK as a student, it is okay to do my virtual dubai role for 30hrs a wk alongside my studies.. Just wondering whether it will be an issue if discovered. I don't plan to announce it but I also don't want to get involved if it will be regarded as wrong.
Any other views my people? |

Nope, even if changing within the same airport as long as you are passing through immigration then a schengen visa is needed and most times when you have to take a domestic or regional flight that’s most likely what Ryanair is then the boarding gates are after immigration. kayalade123: He is changing in Milan. It should be a transit. If it’s another airport in Italy he might need schengen within same airport it’s a transit visa |

He needs a schengen visa or an Italian national visa because he is changing planes and taking a domestic flight from Milan to the UK. A transit visa won’t work. yerima21: He is using Ethiopian airline up to Milan then change to another airline Ryanair in Milan |

During transit in the same airport, the airline will move the baggage’s while you change planes. You don’t need to move your bags yourself. Melahou: But will there be need for offloading of luggage during transit time? |

I am kinda in the similar situation but my latest resumption is 30th of Sept. But yours is cutting it real close, however if you pay for super priority, then it might work, since the decision will take 2days . all the best though with any decision you take. aragbaboy: @justwise and other gurus in the house please advice.
Please for someone resuming on the 20th September and his pof has not started counting when is the deadline the pof should be in the account?
Will the 16th August fly knowing that you can only apply by the 14th September?
Has anyone used investment certificate/letter from a financial institution as pof to successfully apply for visa?
Thanks |

Hello @Owelette, Can you please explain how to do this? Can I start my visa application without my CAS.I am still waiting or my CAS and I am applying with my baby. Owlette: My school rep advised us to apply even though our documents were not ready in order to get a closer date for biometrics BUT DO NOT upload any document! Choose a biometrics date that would be a day after all your documents are ready. When you get all your documents, you can go ahead and upload and then proceed for your biometrics the next day. A lot of us on the group did it and have received visas. I’m still awaiting mine. I hope this helps. |
