I wanted Finidi for the job when it became obvious NFF wanted a local coach, but was disappointed that NFF didn’t do any interview even after throwing the job open to the public. I’m sure if they had interviewed all interested candidates there’s no way they’d have picked Mr Finidi

Tbh I was impressed by the gameplay, it was way better than any game we played in the last afcon, but it's obvious this team still needs more decent midfielders, we need someone that can bench iwobi during games...
Finidi got it all wrong in his line up, Iheanacho is washed and shouldn't be starting games for us moving forward, I'm also at dilemma at why he started and left onuachu for so long in this game

Many will never know the quality of Isaac so sad how his career went. I remember him as that boy from under 17s AFCON who had a precontrat with Udinese worth over 3 million Euros. If Iheanacho never hit those heights, Isaac certainly got stuck in his own blooming height, he never bloomed.

Guyyy whenever I remember the Isaac success I watched during that under 17 afcon, I feel sad how his career turned out, I really had high hopes for him then, he was so outstanding in that tournament I didn't even know there was a certain kelechi iheanacho
