Despite the fact that I admire Tinubu for his political sagacity and for being a founder and a leader of the party that produced the best President of Nigeria, I humbly advise he congratulate Governor Godwin Obaseki for his victory and the INEC for working hard to ensure the election was free and fair.

He's a role model and shouldn't waste any more time. He should put a congratulatory call through to Obaseki.

The people have spoken.

God bless President Mohammadu Buhari.

God bless Nigerians.

This is exactly what you guys said when Gbajabiamila failed to win the Speaker of the house in 2015, you all shouted Tinubu have been tamed and bla bla bla. Some even went to the extent of saying we can’t have Yoruba as VP and still the speaker and that Tinubu influence is down because Buhari tamed him.

Tinubu laid low, waited for the right time and struck. Gbajabiamila today is the Speaker of the house and even Tinubu caucus produced the senate president.

Obasanjo is the most brutal politician since 1999, he wasn’t able to defeat Tinubu when AD collapsed but instead Tinubu relegated him to the extent that he is reduced to writing letters.

2023 is pregnant, there are lot of play and realignment that will follow and if history has taught us anything, it is never to underrate someone like Tinubu.

Edo election has been lost and politics is a game of win and losses.

Saraki, Atiku, Jonathan, Melaye, and etc. will understand Tinubu is a thoroughbred A level politicians but I’m sure you guys feasting on Nairaland likes won’t understand that.

In the aftermath of the just concluded Edo State governorship elections, tongues have angrily bickered towards a man called Tinubu.

I'm not here to support him but i'm only here to succintly address some issues here.

First and foremost, you can't be throwing puerile jabs at Tinubu in the disguse of the slogan "Edo no be Lagos" and you expect him to be looking at Obaseki that way.

He only released the video as a result of Obaseki's actions and inactions towards him.

Obaseki and other politicians juvenilely celebrating now also have gigantic skeletons in their cupboards.

What many of you don't know is that the reason why most Yorubas love him is that although he is not perfect but he has atleast delivered where it matters most. He was part of the founding fathers of APC, and you expect him not to talk in issues that involves his party, you must be day-dreaming then.

Tinubu is indeed not perfect and may have some flaws but he's still better than others when improvement and progress is needed in a matter.

How Obaseki won his re-election campaign with an avalanche of propagandas being played behind the scene to get his tsunami supports from the masses.
These are some of it :-
(1) His irreconcilable fights with Oshiomole which he played very deceitfully by intelligently playing the victim card to the masses.
(2) His tagging of Oshiomole as the god-father which didn't allow him to work well for 4 years in Edo.
(3) His deceptive visitation to Lagos to meet Tinubu knowing fully well that the matter has worsened beyond measure, but used the visitation as a decoy so as to pull Tinubu in a ditch by spear-heading the "Edo no be Lagos" mantra to the masses, meaning i went to beg Tinubu but he ignored me, knowing fully well that it wasn't Tinubu that he wrong from the onset.
(4) His impeachment saga which he himself engineered so as to get pity votes.
(5) Ganduje's video which he played on the bill-boards of Edo States.
(6) His supposed attacks by Oshiomole's supporters during campaigns.
Politics is indeed a dirty game.
