I'm here to see how you PDP will defend this man now he's the PDP chairman cheesy

I am pdp card carrying member and I still stand my grand that my party just shoot it's own foot with SAS as national chairmaneven though he is there for just 6months. this is d difference between yu apc supporters and pdp supporters. I v written two articles calling on PMB to arrest all corrupt persons, but it shouldn't be restricted to pdp only.

Please mind Ur write up, ijaws have three LGAs in delta state in reality. Even burutu LGA is a tiny island LGA with not up to 1500 inhabitants. In fact burutu was made an LGA because of the burutu port and was a flagship port formally run by johnholts in the time past.bomadi LGA is another sparsely populated lga
. in warri south west LGA , of the abt 12 wards that make up the LGA, itsekiris control 8wards and even the four or so wards controlled by I jaws are tsekiri ancestral lands. From omadino, okereghigho, to ogbeijaw are itsekiri ancestral lands. Like some one said here, tsekiris are mores than ijaws in delta state.at least they are in warri south , warri north, warri south west, part of uhwie LGA ( ogbolokoso) and okpe LGA ( sapele). Ijaws can not be the 4th largest ethnic group in Nigeria, where u have the ibibios, tivs, kanuris etc. The uhrobo nation I believe is even more populous than ijaws. Though some ijaws may claim they are spread in over four states in Nigeria, but the truth of the matter is that the are only saying that to grab space and relevance. We must also note that bayelsa comprises only 8 lga s and they are not homogeneously ijaw. Ogbia LGA are not ijaws and u still find isoko people in sagbama LGA .Even in rivers, an opobo man will rather claim Igbo than ijaw, same goes for bonny ppl at least from my work experience in these environment.
is it a must that u must comment? Burutu local government is d largest in delta state. d only local government having it'sown house of representative. stop muming yo shallow brain

You people are settlers fighting the original land owners their lands. So Bleep out of here with that rubbish. Iteskiri outnumber you people FACT!!!! I've actually met more iteskiri than I have ijaws even though we all from the same state yet you claim you people outnumber them? F2k out of here
go n solve yo Biafra problem and not to argue what u know nothing about. Ijaw has 4 local government areas in delta state, call just 1 local government own by Itsekiri in delta except Warri South west they are sharing with Ijaw and is located in Ogbe Ijaw and Warri North with Itsekiri 6 wards and Ijaw 4 wards and Warri South shared among Urhobo, Itsekiri and Ijaw?. who is the senator representing delta state from 2003 to date.
Ijaw has Patani lga, Bomadi, Burutu which is the largest local government in the state with a lone house of representative member, Ogbe Ijaw. Name 1 Itsekiri lga?

The problem I have with people mentioning “ijaw” is firstly ijo is not an ethnic nationality but rather a conglomorate of riverine people in southern nigeria. Izon however is an ethnic nationality found mostly at kolokuma/opokuma and southern ijaw LGA's of present bayelsa state. Even to bayelsans a man from ekeremo lga is not core-ijo but rather ijoid(correctly he is isoko by tribe),larger chunk of ogbia lga is not izon but epkeye(igbo/igboid group from neigbouring rivers state. Secondly there is no general ijo language or linguistic(like hausa, igbo, yoruba etc),many places people regard as ijaw that are far away from izon in kolokuma actually speak different languages from their larger cousins eg. Ekeremo lg speak urhobo/isoko easthern ogbia lga speak ekpeye igbo(the type spoken in ahoada) opobo speak central igbo, bonny speak ibani and igbo. FYI: any person that visited oilmill market in port-harcourt prior to the creation of bayelsa state will understand what I mean. In many rural communities of bayelsa state igbo is still the lingua-franca,peremabiri in southern ijaw is one of few major towns that is ijo in the real sense, even kolo town is not talkless of nembe. I rest my case
fool, u know nothing about Ijaw

IJAW and Itsekiri as well as Isoko are all in Delta South senatorial district. ask yo self how many local government does Itsekiri have on it's own? none. Out of the 8 local government areas know delta south, Ijaw has 4 1/2, dat is senator manager has been in the senate for 4 tenures now

All of ranting about Ijaw not being the 4th largest, pls don't forget Ijaw has about 9 local government areas in Rivers or there about. the Kalabari, the Okrikas, the Opobos the Bonnis, are all Ijaws. in Delta state, Ijaw has almost 20% of the total population. in fact, after Urhobo, Delta Ibo, the next tribe is Ijaw. In Edo state we Ijaws in Oviasouth west and east.
In Ondo state, u v the Ese Odo people, that is where Kuku and the current apc chairman of Ondo state came from.
In Akwa Ibom, u v the Eastern Obodo and Ibuno local government areas for Ijaw. Ijaw are found in 6 states of Nigeria. they have 5 senators, and prior to ds Buhari regime, they used to av d least 3 ministers. currently they have a governor and 2 deputy governors. so tell me about yo mumu tiv people

The same Fayose that beat up court judges, abuses the president at will, places adverts wishing him death and calls the president unprintable names. He goes about making unsubstantiated allegations against the president and yet, he can't stomach a little insult on his person.

At least, all Nigerians can now see who is the real dictator and autocrat who is ready to use state resources to silent an opposition figure. Unfortunately for him, it is late already. The entire country is aware of how the Ekiti election was rigged. Silencing Aluko at this point is no longer productive. Their dirty secret is already in the open.

If Aluko is going to be arrested, Obanikoro, omisore, Adesiyan, Uba, GEJ and every other person involved in the Ekitigate scandal should be arrested and prosecuted.
u v to go back to kindergarten, what is the correlated between Aluko's offence, Perjury and the names u mentioned? very disgusting set of nuisance calling themselves apc supporters.

Lolz.
You made a profound assertion there but you forgot to say Nigerians as a whole are hypocrites.
Saudana didn't want Independence when we got it but he connived with Zik to ensure a Northerner became the Prime Minister of Nigeria.
The Igbo's were happy that JTU Ironsi gave the central govt great control and true federalism was abolished (while Yoruba kicked) but now they would love that so much.
The Igbo's were the Truest Nigerians between 1960-1966 (cos it favored them all, they could exploit any portion easily) but now they hate that concept cos it seems it does not favor their position.
Niger/Delta wanted Resources Control Implemented and fought for it for 10yrs but immediately their "son" became president, they threw that away sharperly.
Yoruba's clamored for Regional Autonomy when they were not "in power" but have mellowed since they supported the "saintly" Buhari to power.
I tell you, if an Igbo man becomes President today and Yoruba's wants the "Marriage" disbanded, that's when you will know that Igbo's are the most Patriotic Nigerian and Yoruba's are the most Unpatriotic Nigerian in history.
Sincerely, we lots are mostly unpatriotic and will support bad governance if it pays us. We do not really have the love of our society but we love supporting any government that seems to "elevate" our overbloated ego over the other tribes.
The problem is we are all hypocrites!!! If you believe the defeat of GEJ was bad then you are the greatest hypocrite on earth and if you believe PMB has done any meaningful thing since he became president, you belong to the same clique.

Lets drop our individual Hypocrisy first (yes, I am dropping mine) before we point fingers. Most times we are guilty of the label we give others.
u r d most brilliant and sincereNigerian I v ever seen in my life. pls I will like to be yo friends.

Politics / I Remain The Bayelsa State House Of Assembly Speaker... APC And Lies! by Tinubutoto: 3:49pm On Jan 21, 2016
I REMAIN THE BAYELSA STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY SPEAKER AND MY ELECTION WAS NOT NULLIFIED BY APPEAL
COURT.....RT.HON.KONBOWEI FRIDAY BENSON
My attention has been drawn to a purported claim by members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) alleging that the Appeal
Court sitting in Port Harcourt on the 9th of December, 2015 nullified my election into the Bayelsa State House of Assembly.
This is untrue and a lie in the highest order! What transpired in the open Court was that the case was dismissed for lack of merit
by the presiding Judge of the Court of Appeal, Justice Ejembi Eko represented by Justice Muhammed Lawal Garba (JCA).
This judgment was delivered in the presence of several lawyers including my lawyers, lawyers of INEC, that of the APC and
several others who were in the Court for other matters on the 9th of December, 2015.
Therefore, a judgment delivered in the open Court could not have been given a counter judgment secretly and handed over only
to the lawyers of the APC who are in possession of this purported judgment.
It is on the strength of the above that I categorically and unequivocally state that I am and still remain the Speaker of the
Bayelsa State House of Assembly and the member representing Southern Ijaw Constituency four (4).
That the falsehood being circulated in both the social, electronic and print media by members of the APC should be disregarded
as it represents the desperate ambition and interest of only the peddlers of this falsehood.
That I have contacted my lawyers who have sufficient evidence to the effect that the Appellant suit by the candidate of the APC
was duly dismissed for lack of merit thereby upholding my election into the Bayelsa State House of Assembly.
I use this medium to call on the National Judicial Council (NJC) to properly investigate this matter in order to save our
Judiciary from this huge embarrassment and bring the perpetrators to book.
May I therefore enjoin members and staff of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly and indeed all Bayelsans to continue to keep
faith with the State Assembly as we are poised to making laws that will impact positively on the lives of Bayelsans while
commending them for standing by the truth.
RT. HON. KONBOWEI FRIDAY BENSON
Speaker, Bayelsa State House Of Assembly

obailala:
Investigation is an ongoing process and it will continue at least until the person is slammed in jail by a judge if found guilty. So yes, investigations can still continue even after the person is already being prosecuted.

If a suspect is charged to court based on available evidence, nothing stops the prosecution from continuing its investigations to unearth more evidence to support their case, and if more evidences surface, more charges can be prepared. There is no where in the world where the constitution says investigations should stop after a suspect has been charged to court; there is also nowhere in the Nigerian constitution where it says the police or EFCC or any investigating institution does not have a right to bring up more charges after the suspect has been charged for a previous one.

I am not a lawyer, I do not need to be a lawyer to know this, IT IS COMMON SENSE!!!... You can spend your life defending people that robbed you blind, but I thank God that for the first time in a long time, Nigeria is led by a person who doesn't give a damn about such illogical wailings.
meaning u v no idea of what amendment of charge is? it's a bad practice to charge one to court without proper investigation. let me refer u to Rotimi Akerdolu on ds.
Since u r not a lawyer, u don't understand what abuse of court processes is right? go and read about abuse of court processes then come let's chat.

Arrest is part of investigation and arrest is required for prosecution, you should have been able to read that in my last post. And a piece of advice, stop weeping over the welfare of some criminal moneybags who stole your money, you are not even related to these guys and they didn't give you a dime from their loot. Stop having sleepless nights over the welfare of people that don't give a damn about your existence.

u v to carry out investigation properly and gather yo evidences before prosecution and not going to court before u come up with evidence by rearresting after d accused has taken his plea. the practice is when new facts are available, u amend yo charge whereby the court will read d amended charge and d accused will take another plea. after taken d plea, d defence counsel will apply for d sustainability of d bail granted by d court earlier if it's a bailable offence.
