Foreign Affairs › Re: Which Would You Die For? Nigeria Or Usa / Europe? by TippyTop(op): 1:58pm On Jan 02, 2010
ElRazur:
What a load of non-sense. Racism is everywhere. Fact. To try and say England/UK is rife or plagued with racism is inaccurate. Yes there are places where racist activities occurs, but not "everyday" like you put it. For the record, Eltham becomes synonymous in the media and amongst close minded people when the issue of Stephen Lawrence happened. How many years ago was that? I think you will find things have moved on.

I have friend in Eltham and that don't make such claims. Besides, I drive past eltham when am going to my friend - who happens to post on this forum too.

So you won't support England even though she's done a lot for you, but you will support Nigeria where Tribalism - a strong form of racism - is almost an everyday thing [You can't deny this]. Just look around this forum to see the issues facing us. And you wanna support such nation? Okay, I respect your choice, but I am not sure I would do the same.

In a fight between UK USA and Nigeria, I think Nigeria stands no chance, so why not hang with the winner? grin
Rascism is alive and well in England though I must admit compared to other European nations England is better for immigrants.
We can't give up on our homeland just because Nigeria has numerous problems, thats not a valid reason in my book.
Who do you expect to change things in Nigeria? Indian, China etc never gave up and look how world economy is shifting to their region. You're guilty of what you accuse Nigeria for, you want an "already made country" and so do thousands of Nigerians lining in front of the UK/US embassy.

EmperorOlu:
Agriculture
Manufacturing
Mining
Property Boom Development
Offshore Banking
Technology Development
Privatization of several sectors like Power and Water

Just to name a few, all the above can be implemented with just $25 billion. The money our corrupt leaders steal annually is way more than that.
Mighty Russia came out of the collapse of the USSR stronger than ever  because of oil.
The money allocated to the above sectors would probably be stolen, oil will do for now why we strive to diversify.  Our oil revenue might be mismanaged, but in the real world it is "liquid gold". So your title "Nigerians Don't Need Crude Oil" is false and erronous.
Politics › Re: Abdulmutallab Travelled With An Italian Passport by TippyTop(m): 1:33pm On Jan 02, 2010
ElRazur:
Making fake passport of some nations are as easy as photocopying a piece of paper. That do not change the FACT that he is a Nigerian.
Er. . . but its Italy the poster referenced, and its nay impossible to photocopy the Italian passport and travel with it, I repeat impossible.

@ElRazur
ElRazur:
It depends on whom you are asking. For me, Nigeria did nothing for me other than my parents are from there. England have done a lot for me. USA is part of the forces in the world that have ensured that freedom in my opinion is not taken off us. Would I die for any of these countries? No way. grin
What if there was war, whose side would you be on? I hope its not England. England may have done a lot for me but am reminded of their rascim every day. Try visiting Etham or Rochdale and you'd know what am on about, England is not our home.

What money spinner would you replace it with? Granted we might have to look for other sources of revenue in future but oil is our present life-line.

In addition, Ruma, who only spends foreign currency in Abuja, is heavily invested in the local media to keep Yar’Adua’s health matters, especially its severity, off the radar.

Where did you get this information from? Just because some famous Nigerian is dying - the name of TB Joshua has to come up. Do we as a nation recognize him as a true prophet? Do our leaders acknowledge him? Remember - the Bible says that he who honours a prophet will receive a prophet's reward. It makes you think it doesn't it,
Epkele!!!!
If TB Joshua is a prophet then Jakumo is a god. I don't know you but I think this is why pastors treat you like mugu.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Ukranians Protest The Persecution Of A Nigerian Pastor by TippyTop(m): 6:48pm On Nov 21, 2009
His church is present in Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Canada, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Latvia, Moldova, The Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, Tajikistan, the United States and Uzbekistan.
How come most of his branches are based abroad? Statistics have shown Nigerians have more churches than any other nationality in London.
Question
Why do most churches carry their evangelism to London, Europe and America? There's even a Nigerian Catholic church in London.
Are Europeans (specifically Londoners) the most sinful beings on earth to warrant this influx of "dodgy churches" who all proclaim deliverance?
Even a 10yr old knows the answer to the above questions.

Niggaz pleeeeze!!!!
