bodies are bought from mortuaries by medical schools because most times those bodies have been in the mortuary for about a year. and they were not claimed ... so selling it helps them to recupperrate some of the money they invesred in it.

And I was told it's supposed to show awarded, so you can print your form out, but I'm not seeing anything like that

same over here too I was also told it should be awarded but a colleague of mine that we wrote the exam together has unsuccessful on his own status what does the SUCCESSFUL mean?

And mind you not all those doctors actually earn up to how much more above what I earn. Some of them do no work in their ppa aside just assisting in minor things. Some too don't even know what they read. We graduates thousands of so-called doctors but how many are in the hospitals after service?

Show me a Doctor who does not know is stuff and he graduated from a Medical school and I will apologise to U


I agree that we are better than each other at what we do.... but no Doctor can graduate from a Medical school without knowing the basic things...... he needs to practice well.....

I Fractured my arm when I was six and when I was twelve....... my right and my left respectively... in each case D right hand was a green stick fracture caz I was jus sic but d left hand was worse it was totally sevrd apart frm a lil loose skin holdin it togrthr.... thank God der was no injuries to d nerves..... both wer set by my dad ( hez a Doc and so am I now ) U cannot evr knw.... XcEpt of caz becaz I am tellin U......

D Locals may b good buh its besT U go to an Orthopaedic hospital...... der re some things like nerve injury, proper muscle attachment.... and angles which d Locals cant check but dixz things can easily be corrected by Open reduction surgery.....

Why just Unilag and OAU... why not look at other Medical schools that,hav bettr facilities and boast chraper tuition fees.....

what are they protesting about... in my own school we use cutoff .a.. of 4.0 or 3.5 depending on generl performance of the students and most student scale that...

Pls help! Someone shared a flyer to advertise some hostels (GMI, MOREMI and M.O.M hostel). According to the flyer two students in a room at GMI will pay 45k each, while three students in a room will pay 35k. Also, two students in a room at MOREMI will pay 85k each while three student in a room is 65k each.

Pls i want to know if it is genuine. Also, pls help to recommend any hostel for us/me.

Major federal universities in Nigeria re doing the program. Uniben inclusive, u can confirm from the college of health science. But will u like to change, Dentistry is money spinning and more lucrative and career wise than medicine. Very few people know this. Put in ur best and be the best, I'm sure u won't regret being a dentist

This is misleading information..... Dentistry is more money spinning than medicine..... now I knw yu just want to talk..... tell me where did you put specialties like..Paediatrics, Plastic and reconstructive surgery, orthopaedics, neuro surgery, anesthesia., oncology.... compared to only oral and maxilofacial surgery in dentistry... d truth be told....dere are bettr chances of making money frm medicine.. dan dentistry...... due to d diverse areas in which yu can specialise

1. Any medical student dat drops out aftr jist entering 400level.. is mostly useless in d hospital... he has only finished d Basic medical sciences...... and knows nothing about d clinics. ........

2. Possibility Dat d lady has a vast knowlede of medicine is so remote....... ever heard of how Bulky and Voluminous medical Textbooka are?....... hav yu ever asked how many specialties are in Medicne? every medical student must read a lot of dixz textbooks and go on clinical rotations and learn d unique art of
each specialty within three years besides the first learning d basic medical sciences for the first two years in medical school...... How can she know all dat xcept she was kicked out of final year

3. you can not compare medicine to other course because unlike other courses dere is no carry over ..... if yu fail one level...yu repeat everything...... and derez a limit to failure...yu are kicked out...

Every Doctor is not a genius but Most Doctors.. know dier stuff..... and callin a colleague when in a fix is not a crime ... it is accepted.

As for how d lady was working.... probaly she was kickd out frm each hospital aftr it was discovered she didnt knw d job or Y else would she change jobs from such prestigious places so frequently

I read that part okay... I was replying in respect to the comment i quoted which was that she had probably endangered so many lives... (well, maybe). I was only tryin to make the point that these days naija education is so messed up that we shuldnt b surprised dat as unqualified as she may be, she may probably be better than some so called doctors. My point was dat lives are equally in danger in the hands of some MDCN registered doctors who are just as useless as d lady. Maybe i wasnt clear in making my point. I haven't by any means excused what she did.....

And guess what.... Some medical students/doctors will still fail those "simple" questions they said she failed. Them plenty naa, no be naija we dey.

Op, please don't insinuate cause of death based on hear say. From your analysis, you indirectly assume she may have died of pregnancy related causes firstly before any other cause. Even if she was pregnant, are you holier than her or is she supposed to die? The truth is that our medical institutions in Nigeria especially federal owned are in a very bad condition. You say you work in a medical institution, how come you don't know that doctors work shifts like other medical staff? Where do you get the idea that drs work 24hrs in government hospitals?

Hav yu heard of house officers ?? dey run 24hours shift..

Both courses are good..... buh Pharmacist earn d most pay.... followd by Doctors. (medicine and Dentistry).... plus yu must be ready to b treated lik S**t in medical school by yur senior colleagues who yu may b older than in age..... its jus d norm...


buh as a botanist... I will advice yu to go for pharmacy.... dey share a few things in common .... it will help yu blend yur previous knowledge into your new course..
