After Nigeria got independence, it was change to Nigerian Army and most of the officers were sent to Sandhurt for more officers training. It's this our era the NA have tried to balance documentation

As for his PhD, he got that after he was overthrown. He went to the University of Warwick and started as an undergraduate, got his first degree, Master's and PhD
