Compliment of the season to all,

I did my upfront medical on Dec 15, 2022 while I submitted my study permit application on Dec 29, 2022. I got an advice to go for biometrics that same Dec 29, 2022 which I have done today 5/1/23. My concern is that the upfront medical I did is yet to be updated on the portal till now, is there anything I need to do? I just want to be sure I am still on the right track. Your advice will go a long way to assist. Thanks

Good evening guys, I need your guidance, I want to start my study permit application and I want to find out if I need to do the upfront medical examination first.

Pace6:
It’s better to do an upfront, if the other person had done upfront medicals, I believe the request would have been PPR.

Peace

Good day gurus in the house,

I need your guidance to take a decision on my intention to study in Canada. I obtained my B.SC in Computer Science in 2015 and i have been working till date. I am looking at a two different study options (Diploma and Masters Courses) and their visa success viability which is , kindly enlighten me on the following concerns:

1. College Course in IT (Sheridan College)- I will have to source for the tuition and there is no option of study loan for this.
2. Masters in Computer Engineering (University of Manitoba)- There is loan option to finance tuition and other expense but the assurance of getting a visa due to how to show convincing strong home ties since international study loan will be involved.
3. I don't have an immediate family member sponsor, i only have someone who bears different name from my surname who has properties and fund to do it.
4. If i want to be self sponsored how much do i need as proof of fund and what are the required documents to use. I am married with two kids.

Your advice will be highly appreciated.

Regards.

Hello guys, i was denied for number 8 and 10 reasons. Do i need to appeal this as i realized that the age factor and school resumption date may be the reason for number 10, but i am still confuse of the number 3. I submitted the following financial document:
1. Sponsor's credit card cert with limit of 11,340,000.
2. Sponsorship letter (notorized)
3. 3 months payslip of the sponsor
4. confirmation of appointment of the sponsor.
5. credit card of 3,200,000 on my own name.
6. Affidavit of sponsorship.

Kindly advise, how can i appeal the reasons: number 3 and 8.

Hello there, my collection date is also 13th. My observation is that they give those that they delay visa because they are taking Time to confirm the information you gave them. I just got home from the embassy today and my name was not on the list...I am planning to go on Monday because I am really tired of going and coming.

All in all, I am just saying you should see their delay as a good thing.
Thank you so much for your encouragement, this will go a long way to to calm my anxiety. However, i will like to have your contact to discuss privately with you.

Thanks.

My collection date was 13th october, 2021. My friend went to the embassy 3 times (last week and this week) and he told me my name has not been called out for collection. I am a bit disturbed about this delay. When can i go there again for the collection?

Well.........From experience, it's not always like that.

I've seen many cases like this and it's not even new.

i.e; Assuming you got an Accommodation Contract for 1 year but you paid a deposit for the month of September 2021 and upon submission you're denied for No. 3 after a month (October 2021); which means Insufficient funds right?

Now here is the tricky part. Many people forget that they're suppose to pay their house deposit again for the month of October before appealing the initial No 3 they were denied for initially. If you find yourself in such cases, you will later be denied for No 8.

Hence, the need to re-examine/cross-check all your documents again to see if they're all still valid (most importantly Insurance and Accommodation) before appealing.

@necz and blessednendowed,

In my own case, i submitted my visa application on September 14th due to inability to get early appointment date and my school resumed in October 1st with the deadline of October 8th to submit my documents (written of the offer of admission letter). The collection date on my collection slip is oct 13th. I am a bit worried because i don't know if i stand a chance especially now that the embassy is denying people based on the fact that the school resumption date has passed. Kindly advice.

[quote author=necz post=106583122]Yes, rightly said. No 8 could be any reason from invalid Accommodation, late resumption date without extension letter, inconsistent travel date/Flight itinerary plan etc.

I submitted the school’s confirmation of accommodation but not an accommodation contract, the embassy only accepts accommodation contract now (stating that YOU HAVE PAID for the accommodation, the start and duration of the accommodation)
The document has the deposit paid, the duration is for the 2021/2022 also stated. i hope it will be accepted.
