It's not about the phone or service provider, it's just a call to your line. Even if you use torchlight phone, the call will come through. Blocking is also irrelevant, as the numbers are autogenerated for each calls

They are victual numbers generated by routing systems. You can't block them finish.

It's a smart way of scamming people.
It is called "one ring", where they call numbers and immediately disconnect with hopes that curious people will return the call. The scammers use phone numbers bought on the dark web that they use to call other numbers.
The aim of the scam is to encourage those who get a missed call to call the number, after which they will be ripped off as the call will be re-routed to premium rate number overseas & will be subsequently billed exorbitant sums for listening to pre-recorded messages.
Then they get heavily paid as a commission for referring people to a premium call rates that likely pitch adverts to the listeners.

The funny thing is, it might even be your friend that sold out his contacts and collecting cool commission from the agencies.

This is my major problem also. Your phone will call international number you can't see on your call log almost immediately after the call and all your money gone. It's really frustrating than flashing your number like people experiencing. They usie our numbers to call people and flash people and in the process making our phone number a spam or blacklisted.

From the little I know, the idealogy is the bigger the dish the better the channels. I would also advice you not to heed those talking about IPTV cause even the cost of data has gone drastically up, unless you are making use of starlink.

HELLO NAIRALANDERS HERE IS THE SOLUTION FOR BEDBUGS.

1. Take note of where the bedbugs have chosen as their base. Maybe bed or sofa.

2. Take your mattress and sofas outside in the hot sun.

3. Get a bucket you hardly use, at least not for drinking water. fill the bucket with water.

4. Get a brand new bottle of SNIPER and turn it into the bucket of water.

5. Get your gloves or anything to cover your hand.

6. Get a neat rag.

7. dip that rag into the bucket. Use that SNIPER WATER to mop the mattress till every surface and corner is soaked. Do the same for all your pillows and Sofas.

8. Leave them in the sun to dry.

9. While all those stuff are still out in the sun, go back in your house and put half bottle of SNIPER in half bucket of water. Use this water to clean your wardrobe and other furniture. Use the rest of the water to mop the house.

NOTE: this best works during dry season for fast drying because rain fit mess you up.

Nobody is talking about the big Elephant in the room, which is lack of electricity. This week I've spent 58,000 naira on fuel for my generator for work, that is full tank for alot of cars every week, and the car owners are complaining, what about us that need Electricity to work.

I barely get 6 hours of electricity, I tried buying solar, but the conditions are too much, turn off this, turn this on, don't use this bulb. Mehn, plus I can't turn on AC while working.

Since my work is from home I decided to buy a laptop worth 1million here on Nairaland (thanks to Nairaland) just to ease my work, atleat I get 4 hours of break in severe heated room with my laptop.

How else can someone survive in this country with this low electricity, is there any state that is better? Or is it a must I have to travel to another African country just to get simple electricity to work. My generator just went off and my fuel gone, that why I came here to rant. I'm going to buy feul at 615 naira per litre
