They say I have lost my self And sold my soul away to you In slavery I dwell they think Someone just tapped my back Urging me to wash my face And shine my eyes with wit In ignorance they worry their heads For do they know how I feel? Or see what I see? I care not what I hear Losing you is what I fear Who brings the light when you turn off yours? Kola nuts last longer in the mouths of those who value it I won't let you go away no matter what they say I will hold you tight and tighter so I can feel your warmth Babes, girls women everywhere Yet none does what you do There are eggs and there are eggs This egg is greater than all the eggs You are the Golden egg nature gave me for free Precious, rare, expensive, beautiful and sweet You are the princess, let me be the prince Together we rule our world , our crowns to shine our hearts Let the melody of love provide that music no one hears or sings For our emotions to dance till the dawn of time Are you there? |

it use to come to my mind atimes when I do qoute from some novels I have ever read. I found this paragraph of James Hardly Chase more facinating ![]() It means alot to, I believe i'm half in love with you; and I get the idea it's the same with you, but it won't work.I'm not for you, there is something fatal about me, I ve' never brought anyone any happiness, least of all myself. I'm telling you this because I don't wat you to get hurt. I have got no future to share with you, you know something? you are DEAD WITHOUT MONEY.. that seem a crazy thing to say,but it's true...YOU ARE DEAD WITHOUT MONEY BY JAMES HARDLY CHASE. add yours and let the fun countinues. |

Oh Nigeria, my dear country! Is this you? You were so strong, vibrant, rich, organized, peaceful and United that many of your neighbours, far and near, envied you. Many other smaller nations look up to you for guidance. You were an inspiration and shining example. Many of your sisters ran to you for help. You had a lot of economic stamina. You were full of discipline, honour and respect. Interestingly, Your children, all of them from everywhere were united. One was the other's brother's keeper. You were a land flourishing with milk and honey. Here you are today lying flat on your back ,suffering from many fractures on all legs and hands. I'm worried by the bleeding from your nose, eyes, ears, mouth and I can see, even your anus. It is too bad to hear that even the pregnancy you conceived which doctors confirmed carried five beautiful children of prosperity, progress, economic development, peace and unity has been aborted. It is even more painful to know that all these horrible things were done to you by your own children; all because of their greed, quest for power, money and relevance. Looking down at you with sand all over your body, flies having a parade on your body, I cry a painful cry and wish I can take you away to safety. Oh dear Nigeria, you are suffering from political epilepsy, social dysentery, economic fever. I and my other brothers and sisters have seen your blood pressure rise to dangerous levels. You are already a hypertensive patient. It is unbelievable that your senior children, the ones you trusted with our various farms are the ones raping you in turns. Your cries, the bleeding from injuries inflicted instead of touching their hearts, push them to more horrible rounds of rape. Your other children are now at war with each other, maiming and killing themselves, pushed by the elders, just for them to inherit your kingdom and own your gold mines. How can brothers slaughter brothers just to wear a crown which must fall and break? How can children rape their mother in turns and expect to live in peace and prosperity? I feel your pains beloved Nigeria. Let me console you to know that the time is near and will come so soon when by mere blow of the wind, all your evil children will be swept away to hell and your wounds healed, your energy and beauty restored and your good children returned to you to take care of your farms to yield good fruits and make you smile again. Get well soon, Nigeria. By Ishiaku Abdullahi Eazzy |

FORMER governor of Borno State, Ali Modu Sheriff has offered to avail security agencies with useful tips on how to combat the Boko Haram insurgency drawing from his governorship experience. Sheriff, who noted that difficult terrain of Borno has made it difficult for security agents to rout the insurgents, spoke with State House Correspondents after meeting with President Goodluck Jonathan at the presidential Villa, yesterday. He urged all Nigerians tojoin the fight against Boko Haram because it is a Nigerian problem. ”It is a serious concern to every Nigerian. It is a serious concern to you, me and everybody and it needs everyone of us as Nigerians to put ourselves in a position to see what we can do to help this nation come out of this problem” he said. Interestingly, Sheriff has variously been accused of establishing a campaign team that transformation into Boko Haram when he was governor of Borno State. The former governor said the difficult terrain of Borno state has further compounded the fight against the terrorists because those fighting the insurgents must have a good knowledge of the state. ”Borno state is a difficult state compared to any other state in Nigeria. Borno has the biggest landmass bordering Niger, Chad and Cameron. It is an open border. Borno is not like the Republic of Benin with only one entrance into Nigeria. In Borno, you can enter from 20 different points into the country. Therefore, you need a perfect understanding of the terrain. You need every knowledge that any politician has, particularly any politician that operate in Borno state. That is all we can contribute for now. What ever I can do as a civilian, I will do using my position as the former chief executive of the state for eight years. What I had seen during my tenure I will contribute to the security agencies” he noted. Dr Sheriff confirmed that he has moved from the opposition All Progressives Congress to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in order to contribute to moving Nigeria forward. ”My interest now should be on how to move the nation forward. Our interest should be on what will make the nation move forward. My decision will be guided by the interest of the nation first. My moving to the PDP is also in the interest of the nation. We believe that every time, as a leader who lead people, you should advise them on the right course of action,” he said. source: www.vanguardngr.com/2014/08/boko-haram-ali-modu-sheriff-visits-jonathan/ |

I have discovered a very good drug. It is potent enough to cure us of most of the diseases ravaging us as a people. It is cheap and almost free. It is available , very easy to administer and without any side effects. It is a pain killer, energy booster, a fertility drug and a prevention against hypertension. It is a five-letter word, "sorry". When you apply it on people you offend, the pain goes away like magic. As a fertility drug, it revives relationships and make them active. When you say "sorry" to someone you have wronged, the hostility between you disappears, the confidence and trust in each other multiplies. As human beings we are not perfect; we offend each other, fail one another and even breach agreements, sometimes consciously and at other times, unconsciously. When these happen, our victims feel pains, strong enough to break their hearts. We only need to apply the magic balm of "sorry" to comfort them, sooth their wounds and ease their pains. We must not be afraid or pompous not to say "sorry". Using this drug means accepting responsibility for our wrongs, for our short comings, for our failures. It is an expression of remorse, a demonstration of a genuine desire to right our wrongs and do fairness and justice to those we have wronged. "Sorry" is an efficient cleanser that erases bad feelings of hatred, spite and antagonism. If all of us can use this drug, there will be no hatred but love. There will be no war but peace. There will be no destruction but construction and re~construction. Let me however be quick to say that this drug expires without notice. The moment it is not used genuinely, sincerely and with commitment, it crashes on the user and the consequences are usually more devastating than the original sickness . I am sorry for whatever I have done to puncture your feelings. I'm truly sorry from the bottom of my heart. Oh yes, I'm sorry by Mallam Ishiaku Abdullahi Eazy. |
may Allah give you a speedy recovery! AMIN AMIN AMIN |
