i lived for sometime in ashaka in gombe state, a town of about forty minutes drive to potiskum in yobe state where u have a large deposit of gypsum and uranium. though d uranium is not really mined officially for now due to its low quality problem, but d gypsum is heavily mined in a very crude way. if d government had developed a better solid mineral mining system for its highly impoverished state and people, it had been s good thing. but an ultramodern poo house? huh, what a shame!

yobe is majorly a an expanse of sahel savanah and sahara desert, if fact, if u were born and raised in the south or middle belt, u will never believe u r in nigeria as d terrain is not what u hav been used to seeing all your life.

my first time in damaturu ws a mixed feeling for me. i hav never seen a so ugly state capital all my life. d excuse for a last generation state does not hold water here against d level of underdevelopment of the state capital. the only good roads were d federal roads that were relatively new, everyth else wr dusty, haggard and poverty masked.

i ws taken to d cutest resturant in d town for lunch as there ws no ordinary mr biggs class eatery out there. my hunger turned to anger at the most unhealthy sight of humanity i hav seen all my life. d whole entrance and d door almost barricaded by terrible looking beggers with flies all over them and stench from maybe unwashed bodies and clothings or some sore wounds, i wouldnt know as i virtually ran in from d unholy sight. yet, inside were d big-boys in town havn good time wt their female 'escorts'.  i eat but couldnt feel d taste of d food either for loss of appetite due to time it took to find a 'decent' place, or  d odour dt wouldnt leave my olfactory sense alone or d continual thought of d poor people just outside begging for anything under d scorching afternoon sun while i am in a convenient room eating my privileged meal.

my heart broke even further when we drove past a large gleaming new building dt i ws told is a state government owned international school for foreigners and d previleged in d society. my spirit died and just as its ghost was being ferried through through d skies into d heavenlies, i glimpsed at d bad structures that r called public school; public school indeed. my spirit got suddenly revived when d driver suddenly applied d break to avoid running into a heard of cows as they stroll across d road at a bend. d cattle rearer, a boy of about 10 simply smiled at us and drove his cattle on, never knowing dt d government owe him a responsibility of basic formal education. so much for development.

never d less, i love d sight of d sahel savanah and seeing d sahara desert fro d first time in my life.

YES  which means one big building that has many  like 20 or below  bowl for shitting  in it sited in one area of the state. with complete facilities . and this is how it will be built in 31 area of the state.  if you are a traveller u don't need me to explain further.
i think what we should be talking here is if they will really have it done to the standard **************
don't you think is a good idea which will also crate job opportunity in that state.at least is a step forward.if them no talk am or do am .you will still do nothing .so is better u hav the bird at hand first and still looking or expecting millions in the bush.
