Dear friends,

Welcome to the AFCON Fantasy League

Standard Bank is proud to launch a fantasy league for the Orange Africa Cup of Nations, Angola 2010 tournament which kicks off on Sunday 10 January 2010.

Now you can get closer to all the football action by managing your own virtual team of African superstars.
The next lockout to join Fantasy League is in 2 days, so I suggest you join today.

Pick a team of 11 players from the 16 participating country teams with a maximum of 4 players per country in the qualifying rounds.
Score points based on the real life performance of the players in your team.
Each round you can update your team and transfer out under-performing players just like real football managers would do.
Manage your transfer budget carefully with up to 5 transfers per round capped at 25 for the tournament.
Challenge your friends and family to play against you in your own league and compete against the top managers in the global league.
Communicate and talk to other managers with wall and forum posts.

Sports › Re: Should Sir Alex Ferguson Be Sacked? by tkb417(m): 5:01pm On Jan 08, 2010
So he won a continental cup with Aberdeen in 1983 and then came to Man U in 1986 but could not win the League until 1992
he won another continental trophy b4 he won the league in 1992

nyways, u want time?
we shall give him a decade
Sports › Re: Should Sir Alex Ferguson Be Sacked? by tkb417(m): 3:50pm On Jan 08, 2010
Give Amodu the quality of players and the funding you give Ferguson, Wenger and Hiddink before you can compare their achievements.
hahaha
SAF won a european trophy with Aberdeen beating an european giant

he won another european trophy b4 he won the epl with manchester United.

if you must know, SAF at one point in his career has lost some crazy games

Cradiff, watford, coventry, Leeds and a host of others but does it affect the man from winning trophies?
hell no

undisputed Epl champions presently; whats amodus record present and past

shameful and all he has for us is a flaccid display reminiscent of the old burkina faso

Arsenal play beautiful footie and they are one of the best teams in the world

can that be said of your super eagles under Amodu?

we were once rated in the top 5 in the world! what happened to that?

we shall see against Egypt
Sports › Re: Should Sir Alex Ferguson Be Sacked? by tkb417(m): 3:21pm On Jan 08, 2010
SAF has won more trophies than most football clubs in England and how dare u sack someone like that?

if its given that UTD would win all games then why do they still bother to compete with other clubs;

. . . . when Amode was coachin, the best he got was a madela cup against a hapless club africain of Tunisia in 1990!!!! (his best laurel in footie was in 1990) shocked shocked shocked 10 years ago

has Amodu competed in the nations cup b4? yeah
has he won it? NO

Arsenal FC hasnt won anythn in almost 5 years but we all see how they play beautiful footie with an identifiable pattern

please what pattern do we (Super Eagles) play?

The worst performances ever in the history of Super Eagles are the recent world cup qualifiers; The eagles played like they were plumbers and artisans with no requisite footballing skills under the tutelage of a retard in chief -Amodu shaibu

he at best should be coaching effurrun fc
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester City Fan Thread!! by tkb417(m): 2:59pm On Jan 08, 2010
Adebayor will beat the livin daylight outta him

and of what use is Vieira. Heard that Mofo wanted Veron b4 he got this punk from Inter?

he should kuku buy maradona or Pele

@Iceblue

The first rule in a presentation is to make it interactive- talk to them, ask questions and get instant feedback which helps your confidence, your flow and ensures the adequate buy-in you need from your audience

if the audience was engaged right from the first slide, then you wouldnt have been marked down as being defensive.

try engaging your audience and refrain from imposing your points on people even if ure supposed to defend them.

are u supposed to present again?

let us know when ure about to do it

@Topic
I have started this year on a good and bad note. Good in the sense that i see myself achieving some of the stuffs i couldnt do last year and bad in that i lost a 17 year old cousin on the first day of the year.

was part of the peeps that buried him and i wept seriously on the 2nd day of the year at the cemetry. I didnt believe ill take a shovel to fill up a hole dug up for a member of ma family. . . . still mourning

back to work; my brain isnt picking up yet with plenty emails prompting what and what i need to finish before the end of January. I got a nasty email from my boss from London on how im not on top of some of my stuffs. I dont blame the mofo, make e go kill in brother make e no how e do do person for body.

Ive been able to submit a draft copy of a due diligence i did on a bottling coy positioned for re-structuring and re-branding. The client needs money for the re-structuring, rebranding, opening up of new market segments and of course scaling up their human capital and since the capital mkt isnt ready for tht kina reggae dance, they want me to talk to banks to raise debts payable in less than 10 yrs. all said and done, the mofos in the company are still abroad enjoying and the interested bank is asking for a meeting on monday

wetin i go do?

i need to go to RCCG camp today o, make i go pray but work no wan let me
we go see sha

That you and your family choose not to fall in luv with a thief doesn't guarantee happy and fruitful lives either, so whats your point?

You look at the guy and see THIEF, but to his loved ones or those who care about him he's a kind, caring, funny and loveable human being!!. . . .what stops one from falling in love with that?

Thieves are NOT born but MADE by society and before they became thieves the were HUMAN BEINGS!

And EVERY human being has EQUAL RIGHTS to be loved and to love.[/quote]so enjoy and marry a thief
