Arsene Wenger has various selection problems, with a variety of players capable of playing wide - Theo Walcott, Lukas Podolski, Santi Cazorla, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Tomas Rosicky - all out injured.

With Mathieu Flamini and Aaron Ramsey facing late fitness tests and Mikel Arteta only just back from a lay-off himself, Arsenal's midfield could be somewhat weaker than usual.

Michu is happier playing in that withdrawn role but offers close support to Swansea's main centre-forward, while Ozil is more unpredictable with his movement, capable of dropping into the midfield or drifting wide, trying to find space and creating overloads with his teammates.

Arguably, Swansea haven't faced one of the Premier League's best central playmakers yet this season, and Ozil should be testing Canas and Shelvey's relationship with the back four - there could be plenty of space between the lines.


Arsenal are worth backing at 2.4 for this one. They've won their last 11 games in all competitions - the caveat being that Wednesday's win at West Brom was on penalties, but that was with a significantly weakened side, and therefore not particularly relevant to this contest.

1. She says she's not ready for a relationship
Ah, the classic escape route; women often use this one when they feel cornered by someone they are not interested in. It's clean, requires no preparation and leaves no room for a counterargument.
