They must be legally married. Delivery by concubine does not count. And you can legally be married to one person at a time.

The constitution is quite clear on this matter. As long as Saraki was born in the United Kindgom, this automatically made him a UK citizen from birth. And as long as Saraki's parents are Nigerian, this automatically made him a Nigerian citizen from birth.

He has never changed citizenship, he has been a dual-citizen from birth. The constitution permits this.

What the constitution says is that: If you went and applied for citizenship of another country as an adult, either by emigration or asylum etc, that means you have shown disloyalty to your country. Saraki never applied for citizenship, he was born there so citizenship was bestowed on him naturally.

Interesting argument.

Although he was a bit cunning, the law is on Saraki's side. Because he was born in the UK, he can't be deemed to have "changed" his nationality.
Also, sections 25 and 66 of the constitution show that he is a Nigerian by birth and meets the citizen eligibility standard to run for, and hold elected office in Nigeria.

The problem now is not his Nationality, but that he lied that he us not a citizen of any other country. Pejury!
