Useless people. |
Africana1123:Saraki is not an icon, never has been. He only enjoyed the influence of his father which he later outplayed like he did with APC. But now he has the opportunity of becoming an Icon if he goes to his father's memoir and pick a few tricks from there. He has four years to re-build hos father's legacy. Unless Atiku wins, he will be out for a while or he will migrate back to APC. O to ge. |
onegig:That is really low for such position but When people refused to go and vote. They have to be satisfied with whoever represents them. |
I doubt that guy has any good intentions for his constituency. Knew him in secondary school except something has changed between then and now. He is just another politician. |
Shoot them. |
Mod give this a push. @lalastica |
Tonight is election eve in Nigeria and over the past week I have called/chatted with people to think/vote differently this election. My conclusion based on those conversation and social media leaning of FB friends show we have a long way to go (my opinion). There are over 60 contestant for the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (PFRN) and at least 6 of those are the serious candidates. The "fake" contestant have already declared their supports for their candidates, though it may be too late, it was expected. Even the clergy (some or most. Can't really say) don't believe in the Nigeria they ask us to pray for. One even said the election is about a thief and a murderer and that we should vote for the thief (Apostle must hear this), what about the other candidates? That is their choices and they should leave God out of it. I understand that God is a merciful God and there is no one beyond His use. We want a change we don't believe in, a Nigeria that we pray for but not willing to work for, remember faith without work is dead. Back to my ranting, there are two lines of thinking. Most people are convinced that the other candidates do not stand a chance and therefore do not want to waste their votes. Let's get that straight, election should be about conviction and not necessarily about who has more chance to win (My thought). And who says they have no chance, the ruling elite have successfully distort the psyche of the electorate by making them think that they can do nothing except through them. kudos to them. The second set of people think that to get rid of the incumbent they need to vote an old timer. That in the election of 2023 they will vote a new candidate. As valid as that excuse is to them it is ludicrous to want to sacrifice four years of national development, instead solving the problem now we move it four years away. Sounds like 2015 to me. When that year 2023 arrives we are faced with the same choices again. The political gamers of this nation know how to draw their cards to play to the emotions of the voters. The truth is, if we unite no godfather can steal our votes. Trust me if APC loses this election, they will field Fashola in 2023 and we will be back at the same spot we are today. I have nothing against him but he is over-rated. My take is this, if Buhari wins, he will continue to play deaf and dumb and blame PDP for the rest of his life. There will be no significant progress achieved, if he couldn’t convince us in four years, I doubt he’ll be able to do so in 8 years. If Atiku wins, he will blame the last administration of APC and continue to make Nigeria work for the elite and his friends (his words). I better send him a friend request now before all the slots are filled. (nah). I did not hear much of Donal Duke in this election. I believe in exploring the candidacy of Sowore or Moghalu, Though I think Sowore is more suitable for our political terrain because of his audacity but any of them will do well. They have both been able to view Nigeria from outside and compare with what is obtainable elsewhere. I hope the electorate will have a second thought and vote any of these two. Although I wish they had united and produce a consensus candidate to displace the current systems of PDP and APC but that is too late now. I believe until we displace this current electoral systems the Nigerian younger generation will keep being voiceless and inconsequential in a place where they should be relevant. I (I believe we all do) want a Nigeria where anybody can aspire to be somebody without having to ride on the back of the current “godfatherism”. Remember what they say about people who keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result. The point is that every one of the candidates contesting is exercising his right and have done no evil in doing so, but I think the to get the Nigeria that will work for all of us we need new sets of leaders that have a world view of how a nation is run. In this election, I am voting differently and I hope my candidate wins but even if he does not, I will be happy that I stood for a change or as they want us to believe UNKNOWN.

Pete Edochie has won an away match. After consultation with VAR. |
What a valid point. They have a right to be heard. We should vote wisely this time. Vote differently and vote progressively. Any debate without AAC is not a debate but a beer pal our gathering. |
Heywhizzy:If there was a guy, it seems she was trying her best to force the guy into marriage. She was desperate. Anyway good luck to her and her child. |
wisdomremz:NEPA is saving souls. |
Any debate that does not include AAC Sowore is No a debate. Sowore is one of the most qualified candidates among these sets of contestants. The established parties APC/PDP are afraid of the new generation of leaders and are trying to suppress them by not giving them a platform. |
Shegson12345:bad quote. Vote Sowere |
There are people who tried IVF but failed too. So thank God and the team of doctors plus researchers that thought this option through. |
bedspread:In that case na to divorce and kill your partners abi? Shior. In that case na to marry under civil law. There you fit marry and divorce as much as you like. No wonder some Christian will find themselves having murderous thoughts. To me your marriage is only valid here on earth, to your best with the help of the Holy Spirit to keep your home but if you start having evil thoughts because of because of religious and societal bondage, please leave the marriage to save yourself and your partner and God will forgive you. After all the once’s insisting that you cannot divorce because of religion are busy committing their various sins. |
