There is a difference between Smedan and CAC registration. CAC registration is for all businesses and associations while SMEDAN is only for small and medium businesses like yours ("one man micro and small scale business"wink. The importance for registration with SMEDAN is that it helps you access loans or funds, grants and business training from the government or loans from microfinance banks.
