Da.M you Mr. Minister, the children are the connection. When you have children that are meant to be in school studying at home causing nuisance then you will see the connection. I only wish every other sectors(civil servants) in the country that have their children in Nigeria do the same. Happy independence with neglect of futures Leaders of Nigeria.

adeaugustus: As an adage would say "There is no truth in the news, just as there is no news in the truth" Am a Ladokite, and I can boldly tell you that the news above is not what really happened.... This is what actually happened.

Some 200L student was sent out of the biology laboratory for not wearing their laboratory coat during the practical class, the girl that died (200L SLT student) and her friend (it might interest you to know that they're three friends that walk together, one of them is a very close friend of mine (she wasn't involved in the accident oo))... Rushed down to get their lab coat, and a drunk driver (a bread supplier precisely) ran his delivery car into their bike, and the girl that died jumped off the bike and hit the road with her skull, take note that the other girl is still alive and my friend (the NO3 friend in their group called her yesterday to confirm she is still alive) the only person that died was the girl at the back of the bike and her body was brought to our gross anatomy laboratory, where she was laid till her family came for her today.... The car was burnt and the driver beaten to pulp...

LESSON: Why is Nigeria education system so retarded? I believe the school should have a small shelf for all science student that are making use of the laboratory, so that we can keep our lab stuff inside, and take them home during weekend for cleaning...

THE PROTEST THAT IS CAUSING UNREST is actually not because of the girl that died! The school was already on ASUU strike before the incident occured, the reason being that, for the past 15 month or so, we dont have a real VC and governing body coucil, they're all acting. So ASUU wants permanent people in the office... And student want the same thing too... But the reason why student started a protest early this morning is because of the School Portal that was closed very early and the unfavourable policy that the acting VC is making, so they want the DSA (dean student affairs) and the VC (vice chancellor) removed and the portal re-opened!

I would have shared pictures of the Placard that the student wrote all this things and pasted it at the school gate, but it's dark already and i can't risk going into the school tonight. So @OP get fact straight before posting on Nairaland!
Good explanation...wht level r u and dept.? i'm also a ladokite 300L of Mgt. nd Acc.
EducationRe: Riot In Lautech As Students Mob Pregnant Lecturer + Victims (Photos) by tobiit(m): 8:49pm On Apr 09, 2013
i'm a student of the school and i detest this protest. the school is presently on strike for some internal adminstrative issues and make the protest useless. secondly, this protest has been hijacked by some individual for their personal ambitions as it is no longer about the DEAD STUDENTS but now against the V.C of the school. words such as "GBADEGESIN must go", "the V.C is a thief" e.t.c were seen being carried by the protesters.

PoliticsRe: No Going Back On Cell Phones For Farmers – Minister by tobiit(m): 8:54am On Jan 15, 2013
is it cellphone that more important to farmers. instead, FG should setup a scheme to allow farmers access good fund through the agricultural banks and make plans to subsidizing cost of buying fertilizer for farmers in the rural areas of Nigeria.

What type of government is this uncle GEJ? God, please forgive us if this GEJ leadership is type of punishments for our sins.

Seriously speaking now, email this thread to Fashola on brfgov@gmail.com.

If you're lucky, he might respond, if he's not already inundated with similar emails from all parts of Alimosho, Agege (Aboru), Apapa, Ajegunle, Ojo, Surulere (his area), Lekki, Victoria Island, Ikoyi (his oga's area), Ikorodu, Epe, Ibeju-Lekki, Eti-Osa, Badagry, and other areas that have suffered from his neglect and glitzy publicity machine over the last 4 years.
Thanks, i will try this avenue. But BRF is not as bad as that. I think the problem is the uncapable hand surrounding him

May u never find peace in your entire life.
