So I had my interview today.Got to the embassy by 5:00am. I was the first person to get there. Was told the embassy wasnt opened yet but was allowed to hang around cause it was raining. By exactly 5:35 I was allowed to step into the waiting area. Others started to join me as about 5 mins to Six . We weren't attended to till about 6:30am. As soon as I see Oga paulinus, i knew it was him. So I compose, lols. Our appointment printout was checked at stamp, by the way a lady forgot the printout, so please endeavour to always check your documents before leaving the house, she had to go print at #1000.Schengen Visa was firstly attended to, followed by student visa. I was the first on the line , I didn't have any issues with mr Paulinus, to he his a very nice man, just prepare your self and follow instructions. After which I was directed into the embassy. I had to sit at the reception at the entrance while some others where directed to the main building.
After a while I was directed to Counter 1 where I was interviewed me.

Now to the interview

Me: Good morning
Vo: what are u here for?
Me: Student visa
Vo: Let me have all your documents
Me: Alright ma. Everything?
Vo: Yes
Me: (I gave her all apart from photo passports)
Vo: Can I have your passport?
Me : Gave it to her.
Vo: you are going for masters right?
Me:Yes
Vo: Which School
Me: BTU cottbus
Vo: ok
Vo: Your email is.........(printed 2papers and gave me; confirm your data and sign)
Me: yes they are all correct ( then I signed on both)
Vo: put your 4fingers, right hand first and then your left hand
Me placed as requested)
Vo: Can i have your visa fee?
Me: (I gave her, she then counted and gave me a receipt of payment)
Vo: Alright. Lets start the interview now.
Me: ( for my mind nawaa oo...so interview never even started before!) Ok ma
Vo: oh you have funded?
Me: NO ma
Vo: which school are you going to?
Me: Brandenburg university of Technology.
Vo: Course?
Me: Environmental and Resource management
Vo: Why this course?
Me: it's in line with my career path. And also to contribute to solving environmental challenges.
Vo: Is the course in English?
Me: Yes it's taught completely in English
Vo: Do u speak German?
Me: No I don't.
Vo: Have u been to Germany before?
Me: No ma
Vo: Do u know anyone in Germany?
Me: No ma
Vo: Have u applied for German visa before?
Me: No ma
Vo: Have u applied for visa at all before?
Me: no
Vo: ok
Vo: why Germany?
Me: Mentioned few points.
Vo: okay.
Vo: What's your plan after studies
Me : come back home to join reputable parastats in the field of environmental management.
Vo: that's the end of the interview.
Me: Thank you ma
PS. She also asked of my School, location and Bsc Thesis. She type the thesis topic carefully.

Who else is getting weird results from Trier University application page?

Apparently, it gives you automatic admission when you select a course and then asks you for enrolment. They will make a decision after you send in your documents.

Or am I missing something?

Most times aptitude assessment entails;

a) checking to see if your GP meet their requirement

b) checking to see if your undergraduate courses are inline with the intended program.

(b) checking to see if your motivation letter gives enough reason for you to be admitted. How you express yourself is checked here too.

The above and other stuffs are ranked on a scale. If you hit the right score in the rank you get admitted, in situations you don't a Skype interview is organized and you will be examined based on things you say. But if your score no reach anywhere for the rank, omoh na OYO.

If it's your first application it will cost you75 euros, but if you've applied to other schools earlier it will cost you 30 euros

I used unverified scanned original copies. When ever you upload keep checking they will revert back to you if it's okay or not. They give response in less than 24 hours

For those waiting for testimony, your own will surely come. Mine is already here.

I started my research in part 5, applied for admission in part 5, funded my BA and got my AM all in part 5 of this thread. In a few days from now, I will be leaving for Germany.

The journey has not been easy. I remember when I was racking my head looking for schools that would offer me admission because my CGPA is really low(2.46 Nigerian scale, 2.9 German scale). I asked lots of questions and did lots of research. Someone even asked me to pay #250k to get me admission instead of telling me the schools to apply to. Thank God for guys like ObinnaAlex and others who selflessly directed me.

When I hear people who got 3.5+ CGPA come on here to ask questions like whether you can get admission, I just laugh. If I had that GPA eh...chaii...Do your due diligence, do your research.

Most people never believed I would get admission for MSc program in Germany. Even I did not believe it, but like play like play, I got 2 admission offers. One in Anhalt University and one in Berlin.

If you are applying for winter admission session, it’s very important that you do your research. Many people don't read. Nobody will hold your hand if you are not willing to put in the effort; everybody is busy with their own life and process. I said I started my journey in part 5 of this thread but I started reading everything from part 3. Yes, I read part 3, part 4 and was finally up to date in part 5.

It does not make much sense to repeat mistakes that other people have made and documented all because you can’t be bothered to read. Yes, it’s important to ask questions, but read first. There is time. Read and read and read.

Get all your documents ready from day 1. Many people don't worry about letter of English proficiency until it's getting late. if you can afford IELTS, write it. If you can't, go to your school and get the letter before you start your application. Make sure your passport is ready, etc.

That is the much I can say for now. I hope I get to contribute more often in this thread so I can help others too; I was not very active in part 5. I admire the amazing job that people like Eldee, heybaby12, dailydollar, etc are doing here to raise others.
